Our server was Erin c. She was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Unfortunately we all were too hungry to wait to take pictures of the food but everything was cooked perfectly. They weren't to busy when we got there and it was very laidback and relaxing.

French Onion Soup

Oh goodness, not good. I made a big mistake with my choice for lunch at the old Outback. My partner on the other hand lucked out!! I chose the loaded French dip sandwich with french fries, and he chose the coconut shrimp with a cup of French onion soup. And I would say that his lunch knocked it out of the park! The French onion soup was perfect. The broth was flavorful and not salty at all, as they can be. And the coconut shrimp was delicious! juicy shrimps, all covered in Coconut and deep fried served with a nice little sweet sauce, to dip them in. My sandwich was terrible. It came plated as a hot mess, and it didn't get any better after that! It just didn't taste good, the meat had no flavor, and some of the onions were burnt and every time I took a bite. It just fell out the sides, so it made it really hard to dip. I would never ever order it again! The service was fantastic. She was fast and friendly and very helpful. And you know the outback's a chain so nothing fancy but a nice comfortable environment.

Extremely over priced and over rated. Steaks always have to be sent back for proper cooking. Prices way up and portions much smaller.

It was also a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. I love that they work with local organizations for fresh vegetables and meat! Our waiter was very nice and fairly attentive. But the food... For the good - the crab cake was delicious. It was like all crab meat with no filler and was very tasty. The pimento cheese was also SO yummy. You could tell it was made fresh and had a great flavor. The pita it came with was fine, a little over-grilled. I was not crazy about the fried okra. I wish the pieces weren't just cut in half, because to me they had that slimy okra texture inside. My gf said they weren't THAT bad, but I really had to push myself to eat them. The rosemary fries have a great flavor and were crispy (I prefer thicker fries but my gf enjoyed these). I LOVE mac and cheese and was super excited to try theirs. It was very creamy and had a good flavor but there was way too much cheese for the amount of noodles. Like the ratio was pretty off. Now for THE issue. My gf ordered the Filet Mignon, medium. It came raw and without the blue cheese compound butter. By the time the waiter came to check on us, I was half done eating. He took the steak to be put back on the grill and brought it back with a bowl of crumbled blue cheese. It was still raw inside. He brought us extra fries, but by the time it came back I was done eating. She asked for it to go and it was STILL RAW. She had cut it, so it was super obvious if you looked. The manager came and talked to us and they took it off the bill, but for a $40 filet mignon it should not take 3 tries to cook it right and it still not really be right. She said there are cold spots on the grill and they're training a new line cook, but it was not a good look... I'd maybe give more of a pass if they were packed, but there was no one eating inside and maybe two other tables of folks outside.

They were okay, but for 5 bucks...what do you expect?‍. I would say the accompanying butter was supposed to be honey butter, but it seemed like regular butter to me! The server was polite, but I was scratching my head because she started with---"Let me go see what's not available anymore." Shouldn't she have done that before speaking to us?? The atmosphere is relaxed, but there isn't much to the decor. It was just casual.... there was brown butcher paper on top of white table cloths...kind of tacky really. It was busy, however, which added to the noise. Hubby and I both ordered the 1885 burger. Now, we are talkin'! The burger was delicious! . It was juicy and tasty. Just an all around fantastic burger. This alone is what will bring me and hubby back. The loaded baked potato was standard, but good too. It sounds like this experience wasn't great, but like I said, the burger alone is enough to go back to enjoy.

The weight staff are well trained and highly attentive. We even got desserts to go. Every dish is exceptionally well crafted, and the ambience of the restaurant is what I would call farmhouse modern. Open ceilings, a very open floor pan, and rustic decor. This is a special occasion for us, but there will be more special occasion, and we will be back!

3.4 out of 5. From…read morethe moment we arrived at Number Ten in Chattanooga, the smoky aroma drifting from the kitchen promised that we were in for something special. The welcome we received was warm -- the hostess greeted us with genuine friendliness, setting a comfortable tone for the evening. We opted for the ribeye and lamb chops. Unfortunately, the ribeye lacked savor, needing a more assertive hand with salt. The lamb chops sat on a bed of Swiss chard that, while "somewhat flavorful," leaned more bitter than complementary; the greens masked the meat rather than enhancing it. Our mac 'n' cheese was beautifully creamy, but again under‑seasoned -- smooth texture, but missing that final savor. The redeeming highlight of our evening was the Brussels sprouts and cocktails. The sprouts were wonderfully prepared -- caramelized edges, seasoned yet well balanced (more please?). The drinks displayed both creativity and skill, elevating the experience when some of the food felt like it needed a bit more refinement. Take home message: Number Ten has many of the hallmarks of a great steakhouse -- ambiance, promise in smoke, and standout sides and cocktails. Being from Texas which does beef well, the execution of some of the mains felt off-base. With just a little more attention to seasoning balance, this place could truly live up to its promise.

The reviews looked well, so we went hungry and excited. The restaurant is gorgeous, loved the view of the restaurant as I ate on the wall of booths. We had a reservation that was taken promptly, our service was convenient but I wouldn't say pleasant. We ordered the veggie pizza (great flavor, slimy texture from too many mushrooms etc 4/5) the ceasar salad (started with some finesse 4/5) and the jerk cauliflower(5/5). The only item we were disappointed in was the wings (1/5). Now let me explain. Wooden city reads as a smart modern, quality of food type of location. The wings were great values finest: and thus were huuuuge and unappetizing. Yall pull up, just don't get the wings lol

Hunter recommended adding Pepper Jack cheese and Bacon, as well as the Brussels Sprouts with Maple & Bacon. Everything was wonderful. There were way too many Brussels sprouts. It also would have been nice if they were cut into smaller pieces. They had a special dessert of Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. This brought back childhood memories of my grandmother's cobblers. My husband had the Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream.
