We decided to eat at one of our favorite restaurants today. We were disappointed on the food. The food taste was great as always but no dish came to the table hot. Each entree and appetizer was barely above room temp despite seemingly being cooked properly? We could not figure out why this was the case at all... We ordered calamari, salmon with jasmine rice and broccoli's, rainbow trout with jasmine rice and mashed potatoes, and shrimp with fries. Our server, Breonna C., was fantastic so we didn't complain about the food temp. I could only eat about of my entree (flounder). Despite food temp everyone ate theirs. But I felt it was a waste of money considering the food temp. Again I didn't complain about my first world problems. I'll eat something else at home considering this was my only meal for the day. Disappointed as a pescatarian though. The bathroom and restaurant are always clean as well always having good ambiance for the holiday season. read more

Great food, Ambiance was interesting because it was the first time I had been to a bonefish where only me and my wife were the only customers in the place at noon. The bartender Stacy always makes our day good when we visit the place. She has a way of uplifting you no matter your mood. Bonefish-she is a keeper because her personality makes you feel warm and welcoming. The food was cooked to perfection and for once we had plenty of what we needed. I literally hate writing reviews when I don't have a ton of pictures of the great food that was consumed, as is the case at Bonefish Grill. The two of us were browsing the area gift shops and decided we were hungry and couldn't make any more proper buying decisions without first having a nice lunch, and there was Bonefish Grill staring at us. Lol. Service was excellent. Food was delicious and fresh. Closing out our tab went quickly. There were no glitches on this day. We walked away happy, satisfied and satiated. I had their signature Parmesan-Crusted Rainbow Trout; as well as sides of French Fries and Coleslaw. This is usually my go-to, unless I'm in the mood for Mussels, those are excellent too. My dining companion had the same entree, but with different sides. The trout was perfect. I wish you could've seen the presentation. It was beautiful and delicious. But duhhhh ...I forgot to take pictures. The Parmesan crust on the trout was so beautifully crisped on top and the fish was flaky, tender, fresh and juicy. A lemon wedge was presented with the meal. The French Fries were cooked perfectly! Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. In the Coleslaw, I think they use Duke's Mayonnaise because it had that slight twang to it. And it was nice and crunchy. You know you want this. You can't miss with this Bonefish Grill location. They have consistently done a great job over the years. My experience lately has found the chain restaurants in Chattanooga are doing better these days than the smaller privately owned restaurants. Just go! read more

Great place for seafood if you aren't close to the coast. The restaurant is located in a strip mall so shared parking. Large dining area that would be great for groups and a big bar area if you want to drop in for an alcoholic beverage/appetizer. They have a great menu, lots of seafood options and a variety of mixed cocktails. They do have specials so ask. They may not tell you. I noticed a coursed dinner after I ordered. It was listed on the back of a special menu. Enjoyed the Atlantic Salmon which is portioned by the ounce so you can choose a smaller serving. Also, love that you have options for how it's prepared. I chose blackened. They have lots of toppings like mango salsa, garlic etc. The service was okay. The salmon was excellent. Fish and chips were great. The garlic potatoes were worth a try. read more

Haven't been in ages it seems. Parking is OK since at the mall area. Waitress was great and very attentive. She had a lot of tables so was slow but good. I ordered Bang Bang Shrimp, which I loved last time I went and a side order of crab legs. The friend I was with ordered the pork chop so I just added the crab legs to that order. Overall, I was disappointed in my order. I remembered the BB shrimp to be juicier and a little spicy, this order was neither so was disappointed, they were dry and almost cold like they had been sitting out for a while. The crab legs were cold, mushy, and just not very good. Recommendation: The pork chop was "really good" from what I was told. However, I would not waste $10 on the crab legs and not sure I would order the BB shrimp again. I really liked it before so I might try if I ever go back. I give it a 3+ because it did have draught beer and the waitress was great. read more

It's been a while since I have been to Bonefish but we got a gift card and after enjoying the Hunter Museum stopped in for an early dinner on the way home. I gotta get here more often. Trey was our waiter and what a pleasure he made the meal. I so enjoyed my Planked Salmon and my hubby was very happy with the Scallop and Shrimp skewer and sides. Trey's recommendation of the house made coleslaw for my husband got me curious and so I cadged some from him to try when his plate arrived and yes Trey.... that's the best coleslaw I have ever had. Light with a nice kind of Asian tang to it. Thank you also for checking to see if this Italian wanted to devour a second loaf of the bread with Pesto sauce that is so dang good, but gotta watch the carbs, right. Good food. Great service. We had a evening reservation on Mother's Day for 6:30. The host and team worked hard to get our large party seated on time. We had to wait just for 10 minutes but that wasn't bad considering we were glad the restaurant could get us worked in. Our waiter Marley, was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure we had our orders correctly taken along with following up on our appetizeers and food. We stayed away from this restaurant for several years due to repeatedly poor service after a change in managers. We gave it a try a few times recently and there was hope. But today was the last straw. We dined after the peak lunch hour and it wasn't busy. The server was friendly, but inattentive. We did not get prompt beverage refills after our food arrived, one of the first things you learn as a server. I had to flag her down to tell her that not only did we need refills, but I had not been given a shell cracker for my crab legs, which made them nearly impossible to eat. Before getting the refills and tea, she proceeded to go to two other tables, take photos for the guests at one, then take an order at the other. I never saw a sign of a manager on duty, so we won't be back, we've learned that customer service is not a priority at this Bonefish location. read more

My daughter and I went out for lunch the Friday after Thanksgiving and decided on a place where we could also get a nice cocktail - enter BoneFish Grill. We were seated and given the QR code for the regular menu plus a specialty menu, which was a nice change since a lot of restaurants have limited menus during the pandemic. We both chose the Winter White Cosmo from the specialty menu. Crisp and delightful! We shared the Bang Bang shrimp, which had a creamy, mildly spicy flavor. Yes please! I had a bowl of corn and crab soup and the Risotto from the specialty menu. My daughter chose the scallop and shrimp dish and chose jasmine rice and green beans as her side. The soup was good, with a creamy texture and nice flavor. The Risotto was the perfect creaminess, soooo rich. The tomatoes cut into that richness which benefits the overall dish. The description states "bay scallops" but instead I was given small shrimp as a replacement. While it didn't take away from the dish, it would have been nice if the waiter had told me instead of me asking him where the scallops were. His response was "Corporate is taking scallops off the menu"? Ummm, okay? My daughter said her dish was cooked well and tasted good. We really enjoyed our meal. Absolutely horrible experience. Went there with my mom yesterday. Food was great but the server Ian ruined the whole experience. We were paying with a gift card I had and her credit card for the remainder of the balance. 20 minutes had past since he collected the bill before he came back to our table and said he had misplaced his book with the ticket and payment and that they were looking for it and that him and the manager. Five minutes had gone by with no update, my mom finally went in to check to find the server just joking around with other people while the manager was doing closing task. She told my mom to just sit back down and they will look for it eventually. We ended up leaving after they said they would deliver it to her the next day if they find it (she was in from out of town and needed the card to get back home). My mom called to speak to the owner of the restaurant today about it and they claimed they found it by the table this morning (which was a lie because I personally checked around the table when the waiter informed us it was missing). He defended the employees negligence saying they wouldn't lie. They didn't even bother to contact her or bring it to her as promised (she gave them her contact info before leaving). Due to the employee's negligence, my mom had to cancel her card and get a new one overnighted so she would have something to pay for her travel back. Also having to spend the time updating payment info on billing is a huge inconvenience. Avoid this restaurant, but if you do go, don't get Ian as your server or trust the staff there. The staff involved needs to be fired for this level of negligence. read more

Had a wonderful experience this afternoon. Greeted warmly by our server who offered recommendations about the menu. A warm bread with dipping oil was brought out while we decided on our lunch. We ordered the Cod Imperial served with two sides ( I got green beans and coleslaw). And this dish is delicious! The fish fresh and flaky with a delicate sauce that includes shrimp. Nothing short of perfection. Crisp green beans and the best coleslaw I have ever eaten. A saw a table get the Bang Bang shrimp and they raved about it ( will be getting that next time). I walked inside and there was a round door that made me walk through the entrance and to the right was a hostess stand where two males were standing. There was a short wait time for a corner booth. The booths were comfortable and spacious. I noticed these were dressed with paper over the top. The silverware was wrapped in a plush napkin that was spotless. Then I put the napkin and placed it on my lap. It would have been nice to be presented with a water pitcher that can be placed on the table side. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The pecan parmesan encrusted trout had artichokes on top over fish that had looked like an avocado. I loved the crisp crust that had a nice texture. I could tell the fish was super fresh because there was not a smell that came from it when it arrived. I still think the skin and tail should be removed. The potatoes didn't have skins mixed inside that makes it even better for me. The roasted garlic on top made it tastier. These were smooth and paired well together with the trout. My server did not recognize the difference between a glass of rose wine and rose champagne, which is what I ordered. When I questioned it.
