6oz Victoria's Filet Mignon* & Lobster
Donald B.

I saw that Outback had a promotion for their Tuesday Tails so thought my wife, daughter and I would give it a try. The waitress was super nice and brought us ice water and warm bread right away. She took our drink order and gave us a few minutes to decide on our order. We all got the Lobster tail and Filet Minion with a baked sweet potato. The tail was small which we kind of expected for the price but I was disappointed with the filet. It was overcooked and black on both sides. The Sweet Potato however was delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, unlike the rest of the meal. It might be awhile before we come back here.

Bloomin' Onion

My friend and I happened to be in the area on a Sunday afternoon for an event and decided on Outback Steakhouse. We reminisced about our Bloomin' Onion memories and couldn't pass up the opportunity. THE EXPERIENCE I can confirm from a previous review I saw that we had to wait roughly 25 minutes for a table when there were clearly ones open when we walked in. It probably was an issue over having not enough staff but I won't hold it against them. The ambiance is in line with your typical Outback steakhouse, slightly tacky but nothing wrong. Due to my Bloomin' Onion craving, I doubled down and got a Bloomin' Onion burger. My friend and I split a Bloomin' Onion and immediately noticed how excessively salty it was. Whoever was cooking that day was heavy on the seasoning and unfortunately it was disappointing. Naturally the Bloomin' Onion topping was salty on the entree but the burger itself was spot on medium rare. The highlight of the visit was the waiter. He was very attentive, made sure to check on us during reasonable intervals, and even packed sauces with our takeout containers. Overall, the food just didn't live up to expectations on this visit. I'd probably give this place a second shot if I was in the area, but proceed with caution.

The Wedge Salad, $6

Loved the entire dining experience! After running errands in town, we phoned OB at about 3 pm to check when the new Surf & Turf Special would be available and BOBBY told us all day, so we headed right over to the Emrick Blvd location to indulge in this awesome deal. We like to sit in the bar area booths to watch the sports and the experience was totally awesome. Bobby, our ROCKSTAR server, was on pointe and personable. He took our order, about 15 minutes later, all food arrived hot, fresh and extremely tasty. The wedge salad, drizzled with that homemade blue cheese dressing was surprisingly good (I don't normally order iceberg lettuce), topped with sliced cherry tomatoes and bacon bits. $6 The 6 oz sirloin, med well, accompanied by a lobster tail and a loaded baked potato (which I complimented to Bobby how fresh, hot with the fluffy inside). $17.99 Brown bread with a margarine and butter mix that disappointed me only because this steakhouse didn't offer one pat of butter in entire place! I can't digest the margarine so passed on the bread. And that frozen drink, the one with the peach schnapps and peach purée and ok, now, can't remember the name yet it was delicious and refreshing. $7. (The Wallaby Darned, that's it, and it was darned good) We haven't been to this location since Covid and remember the food was always great. And the owner, Brian, was always so accommodating to us. And don't forget to sign up for their REWARDS program.

Sirloin and Lobster Special

Have gone twice in the last month just for the Steak and Lobster special. $19.99 for this meal is a good deal. First time it was prepared perfectly with great seasoning. Second time was disappointed and would skip the special next time. Really appreciate that Outback recognizes Veterans for their service by offering a discount. Service was pleasant as always and the place isn't crowded midweek. Also really like their salads and sides.

We love coming to this location because of the consistently good food and service. However our last visit, one of the main issues was that I wanted to order a classic prime rib. On the menu it says available me all day but our server had said even though it says that, it actually isn't available all day, and available after 3 PM (we were there around noon) She did recommend the ribeye as an alternative and it was fine but tough, which is the opposite of what I wanted since I wanted a prime rib. Other than that the food was great. Sweet potato is always a great side choice and the bread is fresh and warm. I would say skip the premium side of the Brussels sprouts. It was swimming in oil and had a weird mayo topping on it. It was too greasy, especially for a vegetable side dish. The coconut shrimp is a great appetizer that I recommend to everyone, it's seasoned wonderfully. My husband ordered the filet and lobster and it was so good, I wish I had ordered that instead of the prime rib.

Steakhouse Quesadilla (not worth the hype)
Courtney L.

Went to Outback with some co-workers for lunch, our server was very nice and attentive but other than that Outback was just OK. I ordered one of the lunch specials where I got a soup and an entree for $10.49. I upgraded my soup to French onion for an extra $1.00 which was well worth it! The French onion soup was the best part of my meal. I ordered the steakhouse quesadilla as my main course which was terrible. It was very oily, had little to no flavor and tasted like it just came out of a microwave. The steak in the quesadilla was pathetic, with cheap slices of meat. Awful lunch experience at Outback this afternoon, 10/10 would not recommend ordering the steakhouse quesadilla. What I would recommend is the buffalo chicken sandwich that some of my co workers ordered and enjoyed!

Soup and salad combo

Update** I have ordered take out to be delivered since Covid 19 numerous times, and this is one of the only close restaurants I enjoy close by so it has been convenient. I have ordered wings mild, cheeseburgers, grilled chicken sandwich, mushroom appetizer, tortilla soup, side salad, chicken tenders. All have been absolutely fantastic as well as the friendly service over the phone and delivery folks. Delivery has been quick and everything is usually pretty hot when it arrives to my door! I am kind of obsessed with this Outback, and it has turned into a go to lunch spot for me! I have been coming for lunch recently and I it has been good. I get the lunch soup and salad combo. The French onion is really good but you have to say for them to make it well done or it is cold. The wings have been good too. I really love their ranch! I still am not a fan of dinner here but lunch and the apps have been good and the service is good as well.

It's open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Friday and Saturday from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. I stopped in for the first time on Friday night and was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, and the service from the entire staff, especially our servers Becca and Cody, was truly top notch. I started with the bone marrow risotto and the scallops appetizer. The risotto was rich, creamy, and full of deep savory flavor, while the scallops were perfectly cooked and beautifully balanced, with a subtle kick from the wasabi mashed. For my steak I went with the 17 oz ribeye, cooked to a flawless medium rare. Every bite was juicy and delicious. For sides, I chose ricotta creamed asparagus and lobster mac. The asparagus was tender and luxuriously coated in a velvety ricotta sauce, and the lobster mac arrived piping hot and super creamy. Both were great accompaniments to my steak. From start to finish, my dining experience at Orchid Steakhouse was exceptional. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu.

Our waiter, Cody came over and introduced himself and took our drink order. The restaurant is decorated nicely and had a good feel to it. Cody brought our drinks and told us about the days specials. We ordered some Filet Mignons (medium rare) and a side order of Asparagus. Another waiter delivered our food and Cody came over to ask how everything looked. I cut into my steak and it was pink in the center even though it had a mean char on the outside. The steaks were served with some mashed potatoes and a carrot. He said he'd be back to ask how it is. He didn't come back until we were close to finished. If he had come back sooner, I would have told him that the steak was overdone and dry and the asparagus & carrots were overcooked and mushy. I didn't say anything since by then it wouldn't have mattered, we were finishing up. Unfortunately, we had high hopes but were disappointed.

What we noticed right from the start is how well the staff works with and for each other to bring guests the best dining experience possible. Maddie was our server. She was kind, professional, patient, and knowledgable about both food and drink on a grand scale. Her recommendations were stellar. I had a refreshing gin and basil martini as well as their beef carpaccio, which was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend started with their beef stew, which was thick and satisfying. It was so delicious, she almost canceled her entree to have more. She went with the home cooking route and indulged in their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Although she loved that as well, half had to come home with her, which made for an excellent lunch the next day. I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor. For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. I would be shocked if their ice cream hadn't been made in-house. We loved our first experience with Apollo and we look forward to our next visit, which is hopefully sooner than later.

Next, we tried the crispy calamari, lightly crisp and tender, with medium-sized rings served alongside romaine and baby arugula, red pepper, ginger-sriracha dressing, and fried capers. For my entrée I went with the Thai Chicken Curry, prepared with tender chicken, fingerling potatoes, cauliflower, scallions, cilantro, and red pepper in a rich, creamy coconut milk broth. The steamed jasmine rice soaked up the sauce beautifully, making this an entrée I absolutely loved. My friend had the Farfalle Pasta, composed of roasted chicken breast, sautéed spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke, lemon beurre blanc, grana, and crispy prosciutto. It's not something I would ever order, but it looked great and she really liked it. My other friend had sautéed Angus beef with sugar snap peas and hoisin jus, as well as the seasonal flatbread, which happened to be a spicy margarita. The beef was juicy, and the flatbread had a nice crisp to the crust. He enjoyed them both. From the appetizers to the entrées, everything at Edge was wonderful.
