Filet & ribs combo

Had business nearby so I decided to try them again. Seating was weird. The hostess took us to a table but the bench seat had a bar under the cushion making it very uncomfortable so I asked for a new table which shouldn't have been a problem since it was less than a third full. They then tried to sit us at the bar rather than at one of the many empty booths! When I tried to explain that the bench had a bar under it which made it uncomfortable they weren't even listening. Eventually we got a table though but the whole thing was just weird with the staff acting like we were being difficult. Our server was very nice, attentive and efficient although the entree did arrive before we were even half done with the salad. The rattlesnake bites were deep fried balls of minced potato and jalapeno and were ok but I wouldn't order again. The Texas Red Chili was tasty and I might order again. The prime rib was cooked perfectly this time which was good since it's been overcooked on a few prior visits. Overall an ok experience but every visit has a problem with either the food or the service. They aren't firing on all cylinders for some reason.

Supposed to be Coors Light

I didn't even take pictures this day because it was so rushed. We went here prior to going to a concert that's not our usual Roadhouse but we know you can usually get good food and beer. We always order beer and the beer was not cold and I think we got a different beer than ordered. The first was millerlite and it didn't taste like Miller at all, so we ordered a CoorsLight thinking it could have been an old keg or dirty beer lines and it tasted the same as the MillerLite and yes we know the difference because we have a basement bar and order different kegs all the time. We couldn't even drink them and we told our waiter and a they removed the beer from the table and took it off our bill. I got the Salmon salad and it was weird, the lettuce was wilted and the seasoning was off. Everyone's steak was fine but over-seasoned. I think next time we will skip this roadhouse and try something else. My small margarita was good and that's why they get two stars. The waiter was very nice and the bathrooms were clean.

So I have written many reviews about this establishment and this location. The service has always been exceptional. But tonight our server Ally was hands down one of the best. Warm and friendly. Energetic and outgoing to the fullest. From the refills on the drinks to getting the food out and it being piping hot. She was very attentive. To top it off the food came out perfect. The Chilli cheese fries were the best we ha e had there in awhile. Actually fully covered with the chille and cheese. Steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. If your wvwr in the area this is a place to stop for a great meal and good service.

Husband and I stopped by to have dinner, we both wanted some steak. We had to wait for some home made rolls, for about 10 minutes, that's the first thing everyone wants to eat right away. We started with an appetizer- Cactus onion, which had a kick to them. My husband had the 12oz NY strip, cooked to perfection with a side Caesar salad and an order of mashed potatoes. I had the 8oz filet, with a side of corn and mashed potatoes with butter, which was also made to perfection. I wish I remembered our waiters name- he was personable and worker with a smile on his face. No music, Yes you heard me right.......there music system has been down since Wednesday the manager stated. It's definitely odd to eat at a Texas Roadhouse, and it's quiet.

Three Oaks delivers a technically competent steakhouse experience, but at premium pricing that…read moredemands more distinction than it offers. The aged steaks are well prepared, and the 500-degree plate presentation does what it is designed to do. The sizzling plate may impress first-timers, but it is straight from the national chain playbook and no longer feels special. It preserves heat, not originality. Sides are à la carte and priced aggressively for what are essentially standard steakhouse accompaniments. They are fine. They are not memorable. At this price point, diners reasonably expect at least one dish that shows some imagination. The wine list is the biggest disappointment. It reads like a Pennsylvania "Chairman's Selection" circular rather than a curated cellar. Safe, widely available bottles dominate, with little depth or personality. For a restaurant positioning itself as an upscale destination, that lack of curation is hard to ignore. Service was professional and the dining room attractive. If you want a reliable local steakhouse and do not mind paying for it, Three Oaks will meet expectations. If you are looking for distinction or a reason to return beyond convenience, you may find it difficult to justify the bill.

The place is beautiful with great seating not too condensed as well as bar seating. Service was second to none. Pleasant and friendly (Darcie was great). The food was great. We had: Wedge salad - great Bread- great Sides of green beans and fries - great Fillet and cowboy rib eye omg. These were both cooked to perfection. The biggest struggle was saving a little to bring home for my son to try. We loved it. Thanks again.

The ambience was nice, clean and a good date night restaurant. They had roses available for sale for valentine's day. The food looked and smelled amazing. I had an asperol spritzer, bisteka and tiramisu. My boyfriend had the Bud bolognese. He said it was pretty good but it was heavy with onions. My plate had a NY strip steak cooked perfectly med rare , broccoli rabe and fingerling potatoes. The steak had great flavor as for the sides they were ok. They didnt have as much flavor as I had expected. The tiramisu was rich and creamy and the brandy kept me warm on my walk back to the car. I have to say one of the best tiramisu I've ever had. The asperol spritz; this was my first time having one ever, so I have nothing to compare, it was ok. It is supposed to be citrus, rhubarb and prosecco, I expected it to have a sweetness but it had an overpowering bitterness kinda like eating orange rind. Id definitely go back for the tiramisu and a few other things I'd like to try on the menu.

This Resteraunt is in a historic building and you can feel the history as you come in. Unfortunately that's where the good points end. Apart from our waitress who was very nice and cordial the rest of the staff had an arrogance about them and the bartender must not receive a lot of tips as she's cold and unresponsive. The food was mediocre at best the fig pizza was good, the baked artichoke smothered in breadcrumbs and over done. The pasta it self was good but the sauce lackluster and tasteless. The chicken melonazze was dry and rubbery. The chairs at the table were a mish mosh of wood and metal and the Caine chairs were ripping guess that's the colonial vibe.

Why the sour reviews? They all reflect some kind of ambivalent emotional response- vindictive even…read more We have been coming here since they opened, and frequented his prior establishment at the Silk Mill. Nowt a bad experience. The menu is appropriate to the wine. This is a Wine Bar- that is the focus. Jason, the proprietor knows his trade very well, and is not bashful to discuss it, his passion for it, and his history in said trade. Said passion runs thoroughly deep, and his wealth of knowledge may even supersede this. The monthly Wine Dinners showcase his unending search for lesser known, and often hard to find wines within the contiguous United States- Jason being an ex-pat Aussie. I've come to expect a bit of a story and charade with each dinner- and experience. I like that the sampled wines are all generally for sale. The food is usually paired very well, and executed as such. There do seem to be a regularly rotating staff, but that's irrelevant to the experiences. It's his show. Sometimes the portions can be a bit too large at the dinners, and that says a lot for the price- very fair. As for the restaurant proper, the portions are fine. His curated charcuterie board is spectacular, and local. The Bavarian aspect is appreciated quite well. I miss Zum Stammtisch in NY- now, that does not mean this is a German Restaurant, but there are enough influences and pop-up fare that ist es wunderbar! His schnitzels are always thin as paper, crispy as seashells, and delightfully tasty. We always have the German Fare when it's available, as it so often it. For a state populated by/with so many Germans, this is THE ONLY good true German food around. The overall decor is a bit dim (lighting) and old world European- this is not negative- I prefer this to modern settings. There is a 'secret' Narnia room which is reserved for parties of 12 or more. I quite like the concept- though have not used it- had the tour. Again, the wine list is incredibly extensive, and you can always find what you want. Ask. Then, visit the curated wine shop next door! Truly one of a kind. That's another review. Book the specialty dinners weeks in advance as they generally sell out, but pop on a standard night, as there are usually a few tables open. Sit at the bar and chat with the staff about the wines- it's an adventure.

While the food wasn't personally my favorite, a few dishes stood out--especially the Roman-style grilled artichoke, which had the perfect crispness, along with the lobster ravioli and the German apple cake, which was nicely balanced and not overly sweet. The flavors overall leaned earthy, which may just not be my personal preference, as my parents love this place and are regulars. I would definitely come back for wine and appetizers. The restaurant offers authentic German cuisine and is truly unique, with nothing else quite like it in the Lehigh Valley.
