Ate here for the first time for brunch & it was great! Our server was the sweetest lady & made sure we were taken care of. I know what your going to say that everyone can make a BLT but no they can't ! As simple as this sandwich is there are many including IHOP that get it all wrong!!!! But the our brunch spot gets it right!!! It was perfect lettuce to bacon to tomato with a touch of mayo and not overkill !!! Fries were crisp to perfection!!! So far so good "our brunch spot"! Update: Went back a few days ago and had a much better experience. Wasn't a huge fan of the tex mex omlette I ordered, but the service was excellent, and the pancakes were delicious. I'll try them again in the future, and will hopefully get to improve this review again. ------------------ I really hope this place improves, because I want local businesses to succeed. It's a new joint, so I'll update this review if future experiences are better... That being said, they don't answer the phone, and they mess up orders. First experience was so-so. Wait was long. Food was fair. Staff was friendly. Second time, we tried calling in a pick up order. Called three times, no answer. So, i drove up there and places the order. The young lady taking the order was clearly not too familiar with the menu or ordering system, but she got the order in. They got it out in a reasonable amount of time, but when I got home, I found that they had completely left out my wife's order. I called to try and tell them about the mistake, but of course, nobody answered. I'm debating driving back up there, but by the time i do that, my food will be soggy and cold. read more

This is our go to breakfast restaurant. Friendly staff and great food. I suggest the chicken fried steak, or even the cinnamon roll French toast. The only thing I haven't really cared for here were the grits, but everything else has been excellent read more

This place is nestled in the Villages and its perfect for brunch! The coffee is hot, smooth and never burnt. I generally have a favorite where ever I go but I haven't been able to decide here. My advice? Go with what you're craving, they've got it and you won't be disappointed. Cheers! read more

Yikes! This was the worst breakfast we've ever had. It makes IHOP seem gourmet. We had a party of 10 and tried many of the breakfast and lunch options. 8 out of the 10 dishes were served cold. I've been served raw eggs here two times now. First time was in the restaurant. I ordered over medium eggs. Not even near over medium and egg white were literally still RAW and translucent. Even the server was like oh no that's definitely not cooked. Second time was through Uber eats. Same issue!!!!! It sucks because I enjoy their food otherwise. We are originally from Austin, TX and when we moved into the area most of the available places to eat didn't really match up to the great food we were use to in Austin. We have only a hand full of places we would highly recommend and this has topped the chart as the best bunch spot in 76244. We took the family here and found it to be a wonderful place for the kiddos and the whole fam. The service was on par and the food was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend it and will visit again. As of this review we have now visited The Brunch Spot three times and every time I feel like the systems and service they have in place have made our visits the very best. No kidding, we have had a little hiccup every time with the kiddos and their waiters and service providers have come quickly to our rescue! Love this place. read more

Went for breakfast today. Me, my husband and two kids 9 and 7. I was surprised on the kids meal that the French toast came with bacon only and no egg so my daughter changed to the pancake meal. My son got the 5 dollar pancakes. Nothing to rave about. Pancakes tasted like ones you make at home. I got the dad breakfast with a side of hash browns. And my husband an omelet. The temperature of my food made me wonder what type of heat lamps they had as everything was Luke warm. Again pancakes were meh nothing to get excited over but not horrible. Overall the consensus from the family is this was not our favorite, glad we tried it but we will not be going back. read more

Don't order online or through any app. Ordered my food online/app about 9 months ago and order was confirmed. Went to go pick and was told it was being worked on by 2 people. After sitting there for 30 mins I asked again and was told they never made my order I ended up waiting 30 more mins for them to make my food I ordered. Just and UPDATE Still the best breakfast around. Advice, don't bring water to every table. This costs you money in several ways. Customers order less, coffee, tea, milk etc. Example: My wife drinks Dr Pepper for breakfast because she didn't like coffee but likes caffeine. You brought her water so she didn't order the soda. You also, do more dishes, detergent, use more water etc. It takes more waitstaff time. Use more straws. Also, table space is small so it creates clutter on already small and crampped tables. This is a good little spot! The staff is very friendly. Service is kind of slow on Sundays but understandably so- due to business. The food was good but not particularly amazing. My sister's WAFFLES were too crispy. She also ordered eggs over medium and they came over easy. When ordered once more, they came back really runny...again. Unfortunately, STRAWBERRIES we're frozen-not fresh which made them have a mushy texture. While they do have fresh squeezed orange juice, the LEMONADE is just regular soda fountain Minute Maid. My daughter had gotten married over the weekend and two months prior. We have decided to book the party room at "our brunch spot". Mind you two months ago. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reserved time the room was booked. We spoke with the floor manager. To Let her know that we had a party of approximately 15 people arriving. She did express that they would and I quote take care of us. They did work to accommodate seating for us although it was not what we had reserved. As the brunch continue our server was amazing props to Megan, however, two of the dishes that were ordered arrived late after everybody else had already been plated and had eaten assuming the establishment would try to rectify their mistake, when we received our check and noticed that nothing had been attempted to correct their mistake. I am typically not one to concern myself with things like this however, when we had asked the floor manager about her previous comment of taking care of us we weren't sure exactly what she had meant not that we were looking for a free meal, she did expressed that the owner of the establishment was not willing to provide any sort of discount. We then spoke with the owner and the owner did in fact, say that he was not going to accommodate in anyway and that for us to just pay our bill and leave his establishment with some back-and-forth the owner of the establishment expressed if it will get you to leave I will discount 5%. We did get our 5% and we did leave our service was amazing. The food was good upper management sucked without any regard to his patrons. I feel bad for his staff having to deal with any patrons that may be unhappy with service and or coordination as he's not willing to take any accountability. read more

I WAS ACCUSED OF STEALING because they forgot to put utensils in my to go order. The Manager chased me outside and yelled in the restaurant that I didn't pay. I love their food and I was greatly disappointed a few weeks ago and posted what I saw that they weren't wearing masks and were lax in cleaning tables but we went by to see if things have changed this Saturday morning I will say every employee was wearing masks and at the door they ask people to put masks on.
