Pepperoni (top slice)
 Sausage & onion (bottom slice)

This is located on the first floor of the 345 Harrison Avenue apartment complex (Washington Street side). It is relatively new and clean. The space itself has tables and chairs for guests to sit and eat. Staff is friendly even though the restaurant itself was very hot. Pizza was thin crust and was huge. I recommend the baked potato pizza ($4.50 w/o tax) and the pepperoni ($4.25 w/o tax). Sausage with onions is good as well. Ingredients were sliced thin and the crust was crisp, but not burnt.

I got pepperoni and mushrooms pizza with basil and it was really tasty. I crushed the whole thing haha. The pizza has a nice amount of pepperoni on it and they didn't skimp on the basil. I ordered delivery so I can't speak to the establishment itself or the service, but I would go if I was ever back in Boston.

Breadsticks and Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza
Erin O.

I've gotten takeout from this location a couple times recently and have noticed that the pizza quality seems to vary quite often. The first time we ordered, I got some cheesy breadsticks and hot honey pepperoni pizza sprinkled with goat cheese. The flavors were unique and meshed surprisingly well together. I wish the breadsticks were more like traditional breadsticks though - it was quite literally just a pizza with cheese and garlic sauce. The second time I visited recently, we ordered the pineapple/pulled pork pizza and another pizza that resembled a "meat lovers" pie. I enjoyed the latter while the former just had a VERY thin crust. I'm pretty sure it wasn't advertised to be that way, so it caught us off guard and just had a very different look and feel in comparison to the other pizza. The worker who cut the pizza also did not do so evenly at all... making some slices extremely tiny while other ones were absolutely huge. Is it still good pizza for the area? Yes, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return anytime soon.

Was supposed to be open at 1am. We arrived before midnight and were turned away. Terrible service. When you get service, mediocre pizza.

We stayed right across the street one night. We had no idea that this place was right here all proud and fancy! We needed something to eat quickly before a QOTSA show. Quick search yields this place sitting right there waiting on us!! Right there!! Across the damn street! We ain't even got to get in the Land Rover or anything. I'll say it again.... It was RIGHT THERE! We walk across the street and have a darned good old time! It's a bit sectioned off inside but we found a table right by the front window and did some people watching while we dined. I had a good IPA and C had a cider donut drink... WTH? I had a very large dose of Rick Simpson Oil before we left, so any minute now... We shared a pizza. My bride graciously allows me to have the meat lovers version even though I am sure she wanted something different. Stupid good pizza!! We ate the whole damn thing! Crust was some of the best I have had. Sauce, cheese, and toppings are high quality man. It was a damned good pizza to say the very least. RSO coming in now... Now by this time I'm plenty high You know when your mouth a-getting dry, you're plenty high... At this particular time, I was pretty high. The rest of the evening is a bit foggy! Even though I was born and raised in the Boston area and have resided here for the entirety of my three decade long life, I've never had the original Santarpio's pizza until just now. I remember eating at their second location on Route 1 not long after it opened, but I thought it was just okay. Ever since then I've always thought to myself, "the original has gotta be better, right?" Well, my boyfriend and I finally made our way to the original Santarpio's on a Saturday a little after noon. The place isn't much to look at but was hopping for the weekend lunch rush with almost every table full, and we got put in what appeared to be one of the last available tables in the place. Our order was taken very quickly after sitting down. The menu is strictly pizza with around a dozen toppings to choose from and a handful of grilled meats. That's it. We ordered a pizza with garlic and hot peppers as well as a steak tip skewer. The steak tips were juicy and cooked nicely, but they tasted like they lacked seasoning or marinade so I had to sprinkle some salt and pepper on them. Of course, the pizza is what we were really there for and I can tell you that it checks all the boxes for a classic pizza. The crust is on the thinner, crispier side which I actually prefer. The pie as a whole had a great color and good flavor between the cheese, sauce and toppings. After experiencing it for myself, it's pretty easy to understand why Santarpio's is so highly regarded in the world of pizza. They stick to what they know and they execute it well.

I came with a group of four, which I highly recommend because the menu is designed for sharing. We ordered several dishes so we could try a little bit of everything. The crab beignets were probably my least favorite and something I'd skip next time, but the seared halloumi was delicious, the Lazy Lobster Dumplings were a MUST, and the Mediterranean Chicken was so flavorful and satisfying. And then there's the Prime Rib Chop, absolutely cannot come here without ordering it. It was easily top 5 best steak I've ever had! For dessert we tried the creme brûlée , the cheesecake and the carrot cake- honestly they were all unique and great. Yvonne's is definitely pricey, but I think it's worth it for the food, ambiance, and overall experience. Come with a group, share a bunch of plates, order the Prime Rib Chop and lobster dumplings, and enjoy the night. This is the kind of place that feels perfect for a special occasion or a romantic night out.
