Beautiful restaurant in an amazing location in Fells Point. Service left a little something to be desired, but as long as you aren't in a rush, the restaurant is in such a nice spot to just relax and enjoy, especially in the summer. Food was tasty, but not tasty enough that we'll come back a second time. There are better Italian spots in the city

With so many amazing Italian restaurants right next door in little Italy, this one just doesn't stack up. However, the Vespa/Italian decor is adorable. If you're looking for a nice dinner and DuckDuckGoose has too long of a wait, I'd come over here next because they usually always have a table. My husband got the ravioli and I got the pesto pasta and neither of us were blown away. The espresso martini tasted like it was made with baileys and the aperol spritz tasted like soda water but at least they looked pretty!

**Date of Visit** 12/16/23 **Food** We ordered Garlic Bread and Arancini. The Garlic Bread was crispy and cheesy, definitely 10/10. For drinks, we got Speziato (loved this one), Dirty Caprese (a bit bitter for our taste) and If Fumatore which was delicious. The staff was welcoming, and our server checked on us frequently. When we raised the issue of Dirty Caprese being a bit bitter, she replaced the drink for us with a different one (we were not charged for this Dirty Caprese, and we really appreciate that.) For mains, we got Raviolis, Rigatoni, Fettucine and Spaghetti. All the pastas were pretty good and everyone enjoyed the food. For desserts, we got Pistachio Cheesecake and Tiramisu. There was a huge debate as to which one of these was the better. I am always on the Cheesecake side but I must say the Tiramisu here is something you should not miss ordering. My wife who hates Cheesecakes and likes Tiramisu, said she loved cheesecake today and liked it more than the Tiramisu **Ambiance and Cleanliness** The ambiance was amazing. We went with friends, but I will definitely return for a date night with my wife. The restaurant has two stories - one on the main level and one underneath the ground level. We went on a Saturday for dinner and were seated quickly. The restrooms and hand wash areas were extremely clean. **Improvements or not so great** My wife ordered the Rigatoni with spicy pomodoro and burrata. However, the pasta was topped with a small slice of the outside covering of burrata (which is essentially soft mozzarella cheese) and she would have liked it better if the pasta was topped with the creamy portion of burrata cheese. Overall, we had fun and will definitely go back to this restaurant.

Overall, we had high hopes for PIrata after being big fans of Duck Duck Goose. The food was underwhelming and the service was below average as there is under experienced staff. The espresso cocktail was delicious however and space is very beautiful. Probably won't be going back.

This place was an interesting try. I hopped over from a nearby pub to get something more filling than pub fare. The food was tasty. I recommend the garlic bread and the strawberry crostata. From what I'm being told the lasagna is a miss, and the eggplant parmesan was a little slimy. They're ironing the details out, but it's coming along. The ambiance in and out of the restaurant is really cute. The service is a little frazzled, but it's clear folks are trying their best. I would stop in here for an intimate date night, but it must upgrade a few things to be 5 stars.

Osteria Pirata was a lovely dining experience. We went for bottomless brunch where you can try various dishes on the menu in one meal. The food is outstanding and fresh. They cook everything from scratch so it will be a tad bit of a wait, however, I will gladly wait for the caliber of food that we enjoyed. The staff were all smiles and very attentive to our part of 7. The French toast with amaretto whipped cream was the stand out dish during our brunch but literally everything was delicious. I can't wait to return to try the dinner menu.

We enjoyed a quality date night at Osteria Pirata! We requested a side-sit table and they happily made sure we happy with our seat! We enjoyed the most delicious aperol spritz that reminded us of Italy! We loved the burrata as an app and our favorite pasta was the shrimp bucatini!! Looking forward to coming back as the weather warms up for the incoming brunch menu!

This place was top notch! The red wine pappardelle and the truffle fettuccine was decadent. Flavors were paired beautifully and the vibes and music were subtle and Italian inspired. Cam the bartender made the best expresso martinis on the east coast along with giving great wine recommendations. We were greeted kindly and served promptly. We were just traveling through town however, we will be sure to be back to this incredible place!!

Great service, a nice curated wine selection, but most importantly the lasagna was amazing. I will definitely be heading back for that.

The service has always been on point--staff is welcoming and attentive. My favorite is the frozen summer drinks with lavender. They're made like slushies and are strong (2 of these and you will be done for the evening) The wine is okay!! though not necessarily the highlight in my opinion. My biggest critique would be the small plates menu. There's a real opportunity here--expanding the food options would take this place to the next level and truly make it a complete experience.

When we arrived, we were the only ones there, and there was one staff member working. That said, she came over immediately, brought us menus, and made the experience feel welcoming right away. We had to ask about tastings and she poured us about four different wines to try, which was a really nice touch and made the experience feel relaxed. We liked a few of the wines and ended up purchasing a bottle of Honor Cava Brut Rosato for $32.99. Solid choice. Nothing mind-blowing, but enjoyable and fairly priced for the setting. The space itself felt calm and cozy, especially with the fireplace and wine displays, but at the time we were there it didn't have a ton of energy or buzz. To be fair, it was early in the day, so I can absolutely see this place feeling very different in the evening or on a weekend when the patio and waterfront vibe are in full swing. V-NO is a pleasant, low pressure wine stop with friendly service, a thoughtful tasting experience, and a beautiful waterfront location. It may not scream "vibes" during slower daytime hours, but it's an easy place to relax, learn what you like, and enjoy a glass (or a bottle) without feeling rushed. I'd definitely come back later in the day to see it come to life.

Knowing a spring Friday evening would likely be busy, we wisely made reservations in advance. Upon arrival, the restaurant was buzzing with energy, yet we were seated promptly at a window-side table offering a beautiful view of the harbor and the fading colors of sunset. Service throughout the evening was polished, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our server, KJ, walked us through the menu with concise yet thoughtful descriptions of several dishes and their flavor profiles, while also offering cocktail and entrée recommendations. We followed several of his suggestions and were glad we did. I chose the Bygone Daisy while my companion ordered the Back Alley Blues. Both cocktails were beautifully presented, balanced, and genuinely delicious -- so much so that we each ordered a second round, which is somewhat rare for us. To begin, we shared a dozen oysters and a Caesar salad before moving on to Dover sole for my friend and the filet for myself, along with an order of mac and cheese for the table. The oysters themselves were excellent: chilled, fresh, and flavorful. However, the accompanying sauces didn't quite rise to the same level. The cocktail sauce lacked the horseradish punch we prefer, the mignonette leaned a bit too heavily into vinegar, and the hot sauce, while decent, felt somewhat ordinary by comparison. Still, the quality of the oysters carried the dish overall. The Caesar salad was perhaps the evening's weakest note -- a rather modest portion of roughly chopped romaine hearts with decent dressing and cheese, though the anchovies were particularly good and appreciated by my dining companion. KJ paced the meal exceptionally well, checking in thoughtfully without ever hovering, and we were also greeted by a manager who seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests enjoyed their experience. Our entrées arrived just as the sunset painted the harbor in vivid evening color, which certainly elevated the moment. My filet was tender and enjoyable, though slightly below my preferred medium-rare temperature. The Dover sole, which I sampled for the first time, was excellent -- delicately crisp on the exterior with a rich buttery lemon sauce that complemented the fish beautifully. The mac and cheese was flavorful, though just a touch dry; a creamier finish would have made it more memorable. We ended the evening with the Peanut Butter Bar, crème brûlée, and an espresso martini. The desserts ranged from pleasant to good rather than exceptional, though the ice cream accompanying the Peanut Butter Bar was easily the standout bite of the trio. Overall, The Bygone delivers exceptional service, expertly crafted cocktails, and one of the best dining views in the city. The food itself ranged from good to occasionally very good, though not always at the level its premium pricing suggests. Certainly worth experiencing at least once for the atmosphere and hospitality alone, even if it may not become an immediate repeat destination given the many outstanding dining options in the area.
