Great CA to NJ moving experience. 3 bedroom home. Everything went right. We got the same lady when we called leading up. You pay for the whole truck, so it arrives in 5 days, your items aren't loaded and unloaded multiple times, the foreman is the same on pickup and delivery, and the rate is flat (not pay by weight). The 3 movers showed up at 9am, as expected, both times. After a walk through, Arthur, our foreman, said they could do pack and load in the same day (other movers tried to get us to let 2 guys pack and load a 3 bedroom place in 1 day and we canceled that). The movers were nice and listened to all special instructions on both sides. Now the negatives. We had a musically instrument that was not packed extra carefully, but it arrived fine. They charged my card an extra $600 before getting my authorization, but they explained the next day the valid reason. read more

I highly recommend Osmon Moving. From the beginning they were very professional and easy to deal with. We had a big move and were stressed out. They really helped us through the process. On moving day Alex and his team showed up on time and got right to work. They were very efficient, thorough and neat. They were packed up and on the road in less time than estimated. We couldn't be happier. read more

Great experience with Rainbow Movers. They were flexible, reliable and got the job done! I would highly recommend them for any move job. We had an office move and needed someone to move our second floor office to a new building. The catch was, the elevator may or may not work. One other moving company cancelled on me after hearing that our elevators were broken. The other one I contacted gave me a ridiculous quote including overtime for the weekend. rainbow movers were just so easy to coordinate with. They were quick to respond and followed up quickly. They also turned around a certificate of insurance to us quickly since our landlords required them. I know they do city to city moves as well, so I would consider them over one of the bigger moving companies that might rip you off. We're super satisfied with the crew! read more

I was very happy with my first move with Rainbow, but my second did not go as well. I'm not sure if they have changed owners, but the service I received was not the same as the first move. First, the movers showed up without masks, which was really frustrating. While they might be vaccinated, it's still polite to wear a mask (or ASK!!). They were not very friendly, but that's fine; if you're looking for customer service, then I don't recommend. After everything was over and done with, I examined my items and found that three things had been damaged. They did not mention any of this to me. They also placed VERY heavy items on a vintage night stand -- which caused one of the legs to chip and crack. Was it worth the money? Meh. I'll go with someone else next time! read more

If you have extra money to waste DEFINITELY call Rainbow Movers. 1) The pricing quote you receive from the Rainbow Movers does not mean anything (they priced my one bedroom apartment for $477 and at the end they made me to pay $1000!!!). They just want to get people's business and at the end they will be charged more than double of the estimated pricing. And they never get back to any of your emails or concerns!!! 2) God knows what kind of routes their movers take that it took them double the time of whatever Google Map said. And GUESS WHAT Rainbow moving company get double driving time (so multiply that by 2!) At the end they asked me to email their CUSTOMER CARE, which I am not even sure if that exists. But, it has been more than a month and they have not got back to any of my emails (I sent them three emails) ! They were so responsive when they wanted to close the deal. But, now they do not even care to reply back to their customer's email. read more

I really wanted to like Rainbow Movers The good parts are - they moved all our stuff. We had a bunch of stairs and they handled it really well - they handled some tricky parking situations very well. The bad parts - Broke my tv during the move. After 1.5 months of making me talk an external claims department, they offered me 30$, which is pretty insulting. - There is some damage to the walls in the stairwell - The truck was not big enough, so more than one trip had to be made. This ended up costing us more I understand things break during moving, but I definitely don't feel nearly satisfied with how this was handled. read more

Arthur and Rustam did a fantastic job with my move -- it was one of the most seamless, stress-free experiences I've had moving ever. Both of them were incredibly conscientious and kind while moving. They were also incredibly speedy! I was moving into a house with nicer carpet and they genuinely didn't have to do this but took the time to slip off their shoes every time they moved a piece in so my carpet would stay intact. One of my neighbors needed help moving a small piece and they actually did it for free out of kindness. I can't say enough good things about them and I'm so grateful for all of their help. read more

My husband and I recently moved from the SF Bay Area to SoCal and this company had the best reviews out of several companies we researched for our move. We are so glad we chose Rainbow Movers! They were extra careful with all of our belongings and even double wrapped any furniture we had wrapped. They were punctual and efficient. My mom and her husband were so impressed that are also going to hire them next for their move from CA to AZ. read more

I had a fabulous experience with Rainbow Movers, and I highly recommend them! Starting with the initial phone call, Justin helped walk me through the quote and was very transparent about their pricing. I appreciate that they charge a flat price per hour, which includes a 3 person team and some moving supplies with a 3-hour minimum. When it came to my move day, Vladimir and his crew arrived promptly on time. They took great care to do a walk through with me before they started loading stuff into the large truck. They brought a ton of supplies like moving blankets, furniture wrap, and (my favorite) wardrobe boxes, which made packing my closet a breeze. The team was incredibly careful with my stuff, but also fast and efficient. When we got to my new place, they were very helpful setting up everything where I wanted it to go. All in all, it took 4 hours on the nose to do my move. The general rule with moving is that you ALWAYS have more stuff than you think you do, and moving ALWAYS takes more time than you think it will. Rainbow Movers definitely helped make my move way less stressful and was worth every (reasonably priced) penny I paid. Thank you Justin, Vladimir and Rainbow Movers team!! read more

Long story and I'll spare you the details, but Rainbow movers SAVED the day! Kyle in the office was completely professional and responded to my emails and calls -- even after normal business hours! On the day of the move Vladimir, Yevgenity, Kamil, and Dmitriy were fabulous. They were great communicators, very conscious workers, polite and treated our stuff with such care. Not one broken or scratched item! They're so good, I asked them to come back a second time to finish up the big move. read more

AK and Sean came this morning and immensely helped me fit my whole one bedroom apartment into a 4 hour move time! Talk about wow! Good communication, efficient, and quick. Thanks so much for making a stressful situation a good one, and thanks to Edward back at the office for assisting me with the front end of booking! ETA:: So, they made me write the review on the spot in order to get the Yelp deal. Just letting you know! Actually was a little stressed because at first it almost seemed like they weren't going to be able to move my stuff in the allotted window and that they'd do their best. They got most stuff -- but my dad and I still had stuff to move ourselves. read more

They called us to see if they could come early. We were happy to finish our move early. They wrapped everything up and make sure nothing was damaged. Alright, let's get started. I had a one bedroom apartment to move, fifteen miles. One trip is all it took, they had a big truck. Two guys lifted a fridge, a king bed, dresser, everything, and even set it up when we arrived at the destination. I didn't pack stuff well; they didn't care and handled everything with care. Some of my stuff was in bags, like the kind from the grocery store. The kicker: moving from a third floor. 1. They came on time. 2. They called prior to arriving, and the night before. 3. They used shrinkwrap and pads to protect my furniture. 4. They packed my antique lamp carefully. Nothing was damaged! 5. They worked quickly, it was a lot of stuff but they handled it, whether I was helping or not. If you're moving in the Los Angeles area, I recommend working with these guys, they don't mess around, no breaks! read more

I am completely satisfied with this company. At first I got off to a rocky start. when I first hired this moving company (from all of the amazing reviews) the first set of movers were subpar and I was not very happy as it took 5 hours just to load my 1 bedroom and didn't even get my things into storage before closing. As I expressed my frustration to Matt he was VERY understanding and wanted to do whatever he could to possibly turn my situation around and make me a happy customer. The next day Matt and 2 movers moved my stuff into storage in just 20 minutes. EXTREMELY HAPPY CLIENT, as I was not charged for that time. Today I had movers Matt and Borris move my things from my storage unit to my new condo. They were there promptly at the time we arranged and moved all my things from the third floor of the storage building into the truck in the parking lot. I then met the two of them at my THREE STORY condo where they were both SO FAST i couldn't even believe it. They worked diligently and took extra care to not touch or bang my freshly painted walls and placed everything in the exact places I asked them. Matt has been extremely accommodating and made my experience amazing. I would completely recommend this company to anyone I know moving and will use them for future moves. I personally would request to use Matt for my future moves as he is so kind and accommodating and I know he has reliable!! read more

Used them to move our one bedroom across town. It was easy to schedule. We started at 8am and we're finished by 5pm. We had them pack and move our entire place. I just moved yesterday from a 2-story, 1 bedroom townhouse to smaller 2nd floor, 1 bd. When I say these two men, Gerald and Fransico, were quick, they were quick. I think these two men were the best movers I ever had. They made sure that all my items were properly covered and well paded. Nothing was broken, scratched, or damaged. They even took my bed apart and put it back together again at my new place with no extra charge. This company has great rates.. Only $65/hr for 2 men + truck. Most places are at least $85. Also they had an amazing yelp deal $20 for $40 credit which I took advantage of. I highly recommend this company but most of all I recommend those two young men, GERALD AND FRANSICO !!! I'm completely satisfied and loving my new place :) read more

I hired Rainbow Movers for a whole house move on the last Friday of the month (during Easter weekend). Little did I know how popular that day is for moving! After placing numerous calls to various moving companies, Rainbow Movers had no problems providing us moving services. Our 3-man crew were Tommy, Adam and Zhaxybayeva (sp?) and each one is professional, courteous & extremely careful in wrapping furniture & belongings. Not only was I pleasantly surprised by how quickly the crew loaded our entire home, I was thoroughly impressed that all of our furniture & belongings arrived safely and intact. Important items were either shrink-wrapped or wrapped with shipping blankets. There wasn't so much as a scratch on a single item! The contents in our closets were placed in wardrobe boxes, then removed and rehung in our new closets! The closets, alone, saved us considerable unpacking time. Our large dining table, beds and office desk were disassembled and then reassembled. Rainbow Movers are the real deal & I would not hesitate to rehire this company & highly recommend them for anyone demanding high-quality moving services. Rates are competitive, and the company is state licensed & insured. read more

Very happy with the service! Everything was perfect from the very beginning, starting with great, fast and efficient communication with Michael. He couldn't have been more helpful and informative! Then on the day of the move the crew with Kamil in charge arrived. The team arrived on time, were extremely polite, helpful, tactful and professional. Everything went smoothly, incredibly fast and efficient service! We were dreading the move but it was a breeze in the end! Thank you so much! Highly recommended! read more

"We always get it up." -Rex I moved into a condo at Tribeca in Spectrum...aka the Stairway to Hell. Stairs on top of stairs...4 flights just to the living room. These Gods among men (Joe, Rex and Tommy) blazed through the move with precision, speed, and not a single complaint as they took my 4-slot Neo Geo arcade machine (400+lbs) to the living room. They wrapped the cabinets, shrouded large glass and worked with a purpose and powered through the boxes, bags and various furniture in just 4 hours. Very professional, prompt and overall I'm thoroughly impressed with their work. Even better, they have a sweet little Yelp coupon which I highly recommend, especially if you plan to pay by credit card (there's a small fee for cc payments). Rainbow Movers will be my first choice when I decide to move again and my only recommendation if asked. Great work this weekend. read more

I called these guys on Sunday evening and was greeted with a very pleasant operator who scheduled my my appointment for Monday morning at 8am. At 7:30am they called to let me know they were on their way and at 7:50 Vio & Roman arrived outside my Office and then assessed the situation. By 8:30am they had 5 desks, a sofa and two rugs packed up and ready to run up to my home office in the hills. They quickly moved everything down a precarious steep flight of stairs and into my office. All wrapped up by 9:45. Overall very pleased and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Matt and ivan were awesome. They came out on short notice ( I called Saturday and they were able to do a Sunday move!) And delivered excellent results. They moved all my bedroom and living room furniture in under two hours. My bedframe has under carried cabinets and they shrink wrapped everything so that I didn't need to unload my cabinets.. They used dollies and padding, were extremely polite and professional, and came on time and finished within the time they quoted me. I would recommend them to any friends and I will certainly be using them for any future move. read more

These guys are awesome. They move really fast to save you time and money and deal with unforeseen situations really well. My new place has a really difficult spiral staircase up to a lofted sleeping area that the bed needed to go up, and they handled it like a boss. My power was also not yet turned on and they made do with candlelight. In summary - honest, hard working, cool guys who charge a very fair rate for a job well done. read more

I'm never moving without movers again and once I move again, you better believe I'm calling these guys. Quick service, great attitude, and very reasonable rates. My fiancé booked an appointment about a week in advance with no issues. The day of, Andre and Dragosh arrived promptly and were able to clear out our apartment in about an hour. They were super quick and super friendly. They have the coolest accents too. Our new apartment was a bit inconvenient to navigate, but they didn't mind at all and moved everything in quickly. Overall, the experience was great. These two probably saved me 12 hours. I would recommend them for anyone that's moving from and within the LA area. read more

I had a great experience with Rainbow Movers. I had shopped around, contacting at least 4 other companies before I finally chose them and glad I did! Our move from Salinas to Folsom went very well. If I could give a ZERO I could. Jordan was my initial contact and Jim is the person who came to the house to do a visual of all of the pieces. Jordan was minimally competent and Jim was very nice and seemed to be competent. Jordan called the day after Jim was at my home and I asked how the costs would be broken down. I asked about 3 categories: Truck(s), labor and packing. He said Jim did not include packing in his report and Jordan would get back to me. Why I did not get a full on estimate including packing is because Jordan said Jim did not indicate we were wanting them to pack us up. That was a red flag and he said he would call me back. After a full day he didn't call (another red flag) so I sent an e mail asking when I would get the full on costs of the move. A few minutes later Jordan called and said Jim said my husband said not to pack our stuff. LIES!!! My husband NEVER spoke with Jordan or Jim, my husband did not have anything to do with the communications to or from Rainbow movers nor any person from there. LYING is unforgivable. You don't wanna do business with me, say so. You can't move people from California to Arizona, say so. LYING is reprehensible. This company is NOT, NOT, NOT to be trusted with your possessions. read more

I used these guys 2 weeks ago for my move. I was slightly worried due to the lack of reviews but they did a fantastic job. Showed up on time, took good care of my items of concern, they keep up work at a steady pace. When they take a break it was truly a 5-7 minute break. They worked hard all day on my 3 bed house and went above with helping my wife get the fridge out the house which was a task! They show up ready to work. No hidden fees or bs to deal with. They know what they are doing got all my stuff on 1 load because they were thoughtful about how they packed the truck from the first box they loaded. Good price, good service, usually I wouldn't take the time to write a review but these guys deserve some credit, and nobody got close to touching their price. I would use them again with no hesitation. read more

Did a little digging online to find a good and cheap rate for a moving company. Unlike most of the others who posted reviews, I did not happen to find them on Craigslist. Google search really pulled through for me on this one. Joe and Rex were awesome. They showed up at the scheduled time on the dot and got right to work. They were very quick and didn't stop to take a break until everything was moved out of my apartment and into a storage unit. I highly recommend this company. Quick movers for a great price (and no hidden fees)!!!! read more

I'm a HUGE advocate of hiring movers. Moving SUCKS! What sucks worse is trying to con your friends into moving all your junk in return for a case of beer and pizza. Just what everyone wants to do with one of their days off! Anyhow, they were very easy to schedule, were right on time and were flexible with me on my 'start' time when I found out that my storage unit was not open until 30 minutes AFTER they were supposed to start. The guys did not mess around. They got everything in and out quickly with no breaks. I was scheduled for 4 hours but they got it done in 3, WITH the double driving time. My only reason for 4 stars is that the boxes were all put in the living room and not in the appropriate rooms. That's my pet peeve. I would hire them again. I would just communicate that request to them more thoroughly next time. read more

These movers were used by a friend of mines twice last year.... so I got to see them with her move first. Let's just say I used them and will again if need be. I paid for four movers as I had a LOT of boxes from a three story townhome to be moved to a four bedroom house. They were very efficient and more importantly did not BREAK my household goods! They gave me a 8 to 10 hour window to complete the job and did it in 8. I have many horrors with several movers over the last 20 years or so and these were the best. read more
