The fiancé and I were craving sushi and it being Sunday, we knew our choices would be limited. We aren't from around Everette so of course we went to our Yelp app! This place popped up and we're sure glad it did. The restaurant itself is pretty small with a sushi bar and about 8 tables and a large one in the back for parties. We were greeted immediately when we walked in by the sushi chefs. Nice ambiance and simple decor. Waitress was nice and food didn't take too long to get to our table. We ordered a dragon roll, spicy tuna tempura roll, spicy scallop roll, and a spicy tuna roll. Along with the rolls, I also ordered a pork katsu bento box and added vegetable tempura for an extra $1. All the food came out at once which was nice. The sushi rolls were nicely plated. The dragon roll was good, not great. I'm used to larger dragon rolls but the flavor was there. The spicy tuna tempura roll was very good my only complaint is that some pieces were watery. Not sure how but it was. Spicy scallop was good. And the spicy tuna was subpar. Now onto the bento box, again, nicely presented. I enjoyed it. It came with 1 scoop rice, 2 gyoza, 1 shrimp tempura, 4 veggie tempura, salad, and the katsu. Only things I didn't like is the katsu sauce was poured on top of it. I'd have preferred it served on the side so when we pack the left overs, the Katy's isn't soggy super soggy later. Also, I dislike when restaurants tempura broccoli. I love broccoli but in my opinion, it shouldn't be tempurad lol. Overall, it was a good lunch. With everything we ordered our total was about $43. We left with a good amount of left overs. I would come back if we were ever in the area again since the prices for the sushi rolls are pretty hard to beat. read more

Came here based on the reviews and had a negative experience. We ordered an appetizer, soup/salad and our entree items which consisted of sashimi, Alaskan roll and a chicken/noodle dish. ALL the food came out within 1.5 minutes of each other making the dining experience feel rushed, overcrowded and unpleasant. We didn't have anywhere to put anything because we weren't given any time to enjoy each course. I had ordered the Alaskan roll and from the first bite it was lukewarm. I figured it wasn't sitting around since all the food came at once but my inner voice kept telling me that somethings not right with the temperature of the fish. I've always had sushi that's cold (or at least chilled). Against my better judgement I continued eating because I was really hungry and my husband said that maybe it got warm with the rice...which didn't totally make sense since there was fish inside and out (the rice wasn't touching all the raw fish). I continued eating but couldn't finish not because I was full but because I couldn't shake off that eating warm sushi just isn't right. Well folks, I paid for it a few hours later by being sick to my stomach for the next 24 hours. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

I went to this restaurant and was greeted with smiles and kindness. The waitress was attentive so she's the first thing we got were drinks with in the first five minutes of being in the restaurant. When we ordered our edamame it came pretty quickly. My son had ordered from the sushi bar and the sushi chefs were quite attentive. I asked them to make an eel roll and explained to the waitress and sushi chefs what I wanted to order. It took quite a bit but they ended up making a hand roll which was quite the opposite of what I explained and they even repeated it back. Language barrier wasn't even a thing because one of the sushi chefs were speaking to us the whole time we were there. It was just a bit disappointing. When I tried to eat the hand roll fully falling apart. I like the fact that they tried to put a lot of fuel in the hand roll but I just couldn't even hold onto it long enough to eat the Hand roll. The restaurant is quite quiet and the service is great but I was the food was a bit better. I ordered the jalapeno tuna appetizer and it wasn't that pleasing. It pretty much was a jalapeno that was barely fried and they put Mashed tuna in the middle with some Japanese mayo and some teriyaki sauce on top and just put it on the plate. I would t recommend this for order. The sushi my son ordered was fine but the dish didn't have raw fish so I don't really consider it "sushi." If you like good service I recommend this restaurant but there probably are other sushi places in the area that have a better food selection than this restaurant. read more

Not bad! I was starving after a nearby appointment, and I checked trusty Yelp for close sushi with good reviews. The menu online was easy to read, had TONS of options and looked tasty. Gave them a quick call, asked for some suggestions, and bam! My order would be ready in 10 minutes. Easy communication and I got exactly what I ordered. It's conveniently located, albeit parking in the strip mall is a bit of a nightmare during busy times due to nearby business. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the neighborhood! read more

Having recently moved to South Everett from Seattle with my husband we were looking for an amazing sushi place near our home. Having read other yelpers reviews I thought this might be the place and it is. The service is professional and quick. The food is beyond delicious. The fish couldn't have been fresher and the presentation beautiful. If you have non sushi eaters in your group that's no problem. There's plenty of cooked items available from Ramen to Bento Boxes. The prices are a little cheaper than Seattle and the restaurant is far more laid back. The location is a little misleading so don't be turned away by the tacky strip mall off Evergreen Way. There's plenty of parking but the place fills up fast. I definitely look forward to our next visit. read more

Amazing staff. Very nice and accommodating. I flew in on a Sunday and before I looked at the clock it was 8:45 PM, because the sun doesn't set in Seattle... but i need sushi tonight! Called Oshima and they said they would take me in, I just don't want to show up and expect to be taken. I also did not want to eat McDonald's or any other of that crap. Get there about 8:55 and am seated immediately, probably because they are closing in 5 minutes!! LOL, sorry guys, but thanks a lot. I order like a mad man. 4 rolls with appetizer and a beer. The chef just starts knocking out these delicious and beautiful rolls that I can't wait to destroy! To my shame, and bittersweet happiness, I eat it all! And these are hearty rolls, large pieces of fresh delicious fish. Bill comes... uh oh! What?! $49? That's a deal I'll take all day. I felt that the sushi here was okay. I usually get spider rolls wherever I go and the toppings the restaurant put on the roll felt unnecessary? These fishy flake things put on the outside took away from the flavor of the roll. The other sushi's felt okay, they weren't the best but they weren't awful. Went 30 minutes before closing time. Cashier lady had an attitude the second we walked through the door, kept that attitude and rushed us throughout the purchase. We ordered 4 rolls of sushi, which were done 10 minutes before their posted closing time. The rolls were extremely small, while still costing us $50, with no sauce you'd typically find on sushi like the ones we ordered. Friendly service and attentive servers, you won't be overlooked no matter how busy it gets. I always order the takoyaki, hot and savory octopus balls that you can't miss, and for $5.95, I'd order two if I had enough room in my stomach. I had the chicken yakisoba last night and the portion was huge, served along with rice and miso soup. I had enough for leftovers for huge lunch today. Honestly can't complain about anything. All of the sushi and the dumplings were sooo good. We got it to go for the first time (normally we dine in), and ordering it online was very simple and easy. We needed it to be ready at a later time, and we called and they made a quick fix. It was ready to carry out the door when we showed up. They gave us soy sauce a little plastic dipping cups for the sushi. All of the rolls were YUMMY, and they taste amazing every time we go! The presentation is great too! I have simple tastes when it comes to Japanese/sushi cuisine. I did notice that most of the patrons while I was here were ordering the specialty sushi and perhaps most of the reviews were based on the specialty sushi rolls. I ordered tekka maki and the chicken katsu entree. The chicken was a bit over cooked and the katsu sauce was poured over the chicken leaving the chicken on the bottom without sauce. The sushi rice was very dry. The tekka maki didn't arrive until I finished the chicken katsu entree and asked the server about it. I was visiting Mukilteo on a business trip. Needless to say, if I have to come back to this area, I will not be eating here. read more

first off, staff is not the friendliest. i ordered a roll and a sashimi salad, the roll was good. my mom ordered eel over rice and a seared tuna salad, her tuna was inedible and chewy, barely seared. we put our salads to the side and continued to eat, server comes over and my mom tells them about the tuna in the salad which we then noticed there was ANTS in it, disgusting!! the lady server grabbed the plate so quick i couldn't even take a picture. she brings the plate to the kitchen and we could hear the staff LAUGHING. server came back and asked if we wanted anything else, i was livid and asked if she had NOT seen the ants in the salad. they did NOTHING to try to fix the situation, WE had to ask to have the salads taken off. shitty service, and obviously unclean restaurant. don't eat here. read more

Very nice decor presenting a varied menu. Must admit was expecting more from the Yelp "ratings"... the best by far was the Bento box (the Sesame Chicken & dressing on the salad especially).
