I called on this particular truck (2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali, 91k miles) in early October. I spoke with a man who said that it was awaiting inspection and he would send me more pictures when it was done with the inspection. I never heard back from that man. I reached out to them again and finally got someone (Schylar) who was willing to send me the pictures. We are about 211 miles away from the dealership. So we get the approval on the truck and the inspection is done....supposedly!!!! We make the drive buy the truck and come home. On the way home the radio starts to malfunction. This was mid October. Mid November we take our annual Thanksgiving trip with our camper. We make it a little over an hour from our home when the truck gets stuck in 3rd gear. We pulled over for several minutes to let it cool down and we were able to continue on our trip. We make it literally 1 minute from our destination and the truck completely refused to move. After again, letting it cool, we were able to put it into 4-wheel drive just to get it out of the middle of the road. We also realized on this trip that the heaters in the seats don't work at all. We babied the truck and got it home. I made an appointment with our local GMC dealership. I guess it's a good thing Fairway forced a warranty on us or we would have been in big trouble! The transmission needed to be replaced, the seat heaters need to be replaced, the radio needed to be replaced, and we found out we had an oil leak. All in it needed roughly $11k worth of repairs! I reached out to Schyler and Fairway Ford several times! I finally got a response when I emailed the GM, and Schyler. I have asked for the inspection report on my truck and they refuse to give it to me! The warranty covered the transmission (Thank God) and the oil leak. Fairway did pay for the cheapest repair, which was the radio but left us with the deductible, $700 and the seats $1800. Schyler did say they would help us out with the money to cover the deductible but that didn't happen. I guess I should be happy that they covered the radio. But I feel like if a proper inspection had been done or if I had been told about these issues from the get-go, it would have saved me a lot of money and headache! I still want to see this inspection that was done! I don't think that will ever happen! Don't be like me! Stay away from Fairway all together! They are shady and not ethical!

    Yep - they will sell you a car - take your money and forget about you…read more Today's high tech vehicle needs some instruction on how to operate your vehicle. 5 minutes - here is how you start it - have a nice day. Sales staff incompetent. Put the wrong screws in the license plate grommets - went to tighten - striped out the grommets and now will not hold the plate securely in place. $5.05 for two new grommets,plus to aggravation of getting the old ones out. Front license plate holder installed somewhere along the line. However North and South Carolina does not use front plate. Remove the ugly plate holder and now we have two holes in the brand new front trim! Called Service Manager - about repair - owners cost to fix it, call our body shop! Made an appointment to pick up new car - Paid cash - should be simple transaction - well, having arrived to find the sales person waiting on three other customers - finding a manager to move thins along - 4hours later finally worn out - left. Yup - South Carolina Volume dealer!

I turned in my lease a month ago in December--before it ended--and leased a new vehicle. Many problems and issues at that point. Now, I am getting daily voicemails from Honda Finance. Bottom line--Fred Anderson never notified Honda that I'd returned the old leased vehicle. In addition, Honda said I owed the final lease payment....that Fred Anderson Honda was supposed to pay off on my behalf!!! Not a pleasant experience at all.......

I live in Virginia and was able to order both cars through their website, and was able to coordinate ordering accessories through email. Both Amy and Caleb give me courtesy calls to keep me posted on the status and delivery dates. Thank you for the amazing customer service and communication. The level of professionalism and genuine hospitality I received made me feel very welcome-like I was actually a valued customer. I will gladly make the trip to Dick Brooks Honda for future car purchases.     I've used this dealership for the service on two vehicles in my family- a 2018 Ridgeline and a 2019…read moreHR-V-for several years. The HR-V was purchased there. I will never set foot in their dealership again after the last experience I had there. They told me I needed to replace the front control arms on my Ridgeline because the bushings were torn. I took the vehicle to another shop who specializes in Honda, and they inspected the bushings and found them all to be perfectly fine. They even took pictures showing their condition. Dick Brooks Honda wanted me to pay approximately $2000 for unnecessary work. I no longer trust Dick Brooks.
