I would give zero stars if possible... I bought a 2006 nissian murano with 101,000 miles on it, in February from them. (yes I know it's an '06 my prior car was on '06 and had 0 issues) I had it inspected and showed them the work that was quoted to me, they went down 1,000 on the asking price. I have now spent almost $3,000 on repairs on this hunk of junk they sold me. They claim they will do repairs for half the price, when I needed the new tires and alignment (one of the repairs I told them needed to be done at purchasing) they quoted me the same price as another place but I would have had to leave my car with the for most of the day, where I was able to just sit and wait approx 1 hour at the other place. So they clearly lie about their cheaper repairs. With in less than a month of purchasing the vehicle I returned in literal tears of frustration and was completely blown off by the woman who works there as well as the mechanic. NOTHING was done to help when I gave them the fair chance to do something about this. (I also called when the owner left a reply on my google review giving me a number to " contact him directly" it was the stores generic number and he " wasn't there".) I fully believe they knew what they were doing mainly bc I told them about specific problems I noticed and my mechanic notice and they denied the problems. If you leave a bad review they will be snarky in their reply and act like they did nothing wrong instead of owning up to the "mistake" and try to fix them. I put mistakes in quotes bc we are all human, things happen. But this was clearly intentional on their part at this point. I will never purchase another vehicle from them! Sadly, this experience is not rare for me. As long as I can remember, I've never purchased a used car that didn't have at least some problems, but when you sell a car that is knowingly a car with extra problems and don't report it to a potential buyer, then that is a crime, pure and simple. Well, at least, it should be. But, of course, in the United States, if you don't have an army of lawyers to help you, then you're just plain screwed. I bought a 2015 Mercedes with high mileage, but it looked okay. It had minor damage to it, but it didn't show. However, when I took it in for inspection, I discovered that there was a plethora of issues, primarily the serpentine belt, which was cracked and splitting, and ready to snap (saw the photos), as well as the guide pulley and tensioner needing replacement. Moreover, the thermostat and drain need replacing, and are the cause of the engine light constantly coming on. When I addressed this to the people at 10K, they were polite and said that it was likely just a loose wire. But, according to the mechanics at ________ , they told me that not only was this a common issue, but that it was easy to detect if you had the proper equipment. In addition to this, the engine light had likely been turned off on several occasions before it was sold, in order to hide any possible defect. Now, I get it. Used car salespeople have to hide certain information, or they won't sell the car. Even if it's junk, and they know it, they will sell it to you anyway. So here's the thing: If you see the car, and they give you a song and dance about it, while at the same time it's "Buy As Is", then ask to take it to another mechanic to give it a look-over. If they say no, then simply walk away. Go elsewhere because that won't work in your best interest, and it will cost you down the road. (I didn't do this, now I owe $4,787, not including the forward struts, sway bar links, and four tires, which will come to another $2,200). In the end, just take your time and look around. Don't rush, and if you have access to a seasoned mechanic who can look it over first, then by all means, pay the guy or gal for their time, and be grateful. Boy, do I miss my Dad! Bottom line, if a dealer knows that a car has problems and needs parts replaced, or if the car in question is faulty and shouldn't be sold in the first place until it's fully repaired, and he sells it...he is not honest. Don't fall for it. Don't be a victim like me. read more

On July 1st I went in with my mom to purchase a vehicle. I went in to purchase a Ford explorer and they ended up not having it which at the time I was sad (my dream car) but I got something else. I ended up getting a 2015 Buick Enclave. I liked how much room it had and it was the only car the drive nicely that I tried. About 2 weeks after getting it my grandmother got really sick so we went to Maine. We did NOT use my car as it had begun to act funny while driving. I made an appointment to get it to the shop at 10k. The day I got back and I tried to go to work I got stuck on the side of the road. The dashboard was saying 'traction off' and 'stabilitrack'. I called 10k who told me to get in contact with GNR. They didn't have anything until Monday. My mom got in contact with them as well. We ended up paying more a tow truck to get it to 10k. They did not keep us updated through the process besides telling us when it was done which was almost 2 weeks later. We had to call for updates through the entire process. 10k and GNR would never have the same information or they would say they are getting different stories than we got. AND they wanted to pay $5,500 for a new transmission because they said we DENIED the warranty which we were never even offered! 10k ended up paying 5,000 because we said we shouldn't have to when hadn't even had the car for a month when it stopped running. But then not even 24 hours later after getting it back I'm stuck on the side of the road again. Fortunately I was able to get it to move again and get it home. I called 10K and GNR and I was told that I could bring it back to GNR the next morning. I get it back to GNR drop it off and a few days later when I call to get an update I'm told it's the OPM I cannot remember what they said it stands before but that's what they said. Couple days later I call for an update and they say the don't have anything. They said they're probably going to need a new transmission on one of those calls. We asked if they got the warranty because it was under warranty since they already replaced it once. Then I'm told they need to get the warranty from 10K since they purchased it and then 10K said that GNR should already have the warranty because they're the ones that put in the transmission. Finally they say I can come back and get it. So I went in at 9:00 a.m. on Friday (9/6/24) morning and by 12:30 I was stuck on the side of the road again. I called GNR again they said I could bring it back on Monday and I talk to 10K as well and they both said well we reset it and they weren't having any issues driving it when GNR had it. If that's the case then why am I still having the issues. And then my mom called them and GNR hung up on us saying that it was 10K Auto's problem. And when my mom called 10K and said that she is really getting mad because of this and now she's already paid $500 to get a car back which she shouldn't have had to pay anything for due to the fact that we weren't offered a warranty and the car has had issues since 2 weeks after we got it Kayla who was on the phone with her said well we paid way more than that and we're just as frustrated as you. So they will throw it in your face if they do help you as well but have no issues selling you faulty cars. I will not be taking my car back there to get fixed again because they don't do anything and they don't really seem to care because it's no one's problem. The communication is extremely poor. The customer service is extremely poor. And the quality of the cars that you are buying is extremely poor. I would never recommend them to anybody else. It is now 9/8/24 and the only real useI have had from my car is the 2 weeks at the beginning of July (7/1/24). I have not been able to use except for a couple of hours since. Everything could have been avoided if they would have just checked their cars; which according to all of the other reviews I'm seeing recently is the case with all of the cars that they are selling. 10K Autos is the most honest used car company I've ever worked with. A salesperson rarely explains why a vehicle's price is lower than the average market price. You let me take the truck to my mechanic with no questions and made sure I had a dealer plate on the truck when I drove to him. Everyone I've shown my F-150 to can not believe the price I got. My wife and I will always consider 10K Autos first when we are in the market for another vehicle, and we will definitely recommend your company to our friends and family. I originally did a pre-approval app online on a Saturday. Steve called me literally first thing Monday morning. He took the time to find out my wants and needs and assured me that I would be driving off the lot satisfied with a vehicle. Uber is one thing. Having your own is another. DO NOT BUY HERE. They fix their cars so they are perfect for the test drive but as soon as you buy the car and sign the papers they take the car back into their shop to "prep it". When I test drive a car, I expect it to be ready to drive off the lot not just perfect for the test drive and then it falls apart the next day. The vehicle I bought looked and drove perfect, literally the next day it won't start. It's been to several shops over the past 30 days because apparently their machanics can't touch it which is oddly weird considering the warranty said to take it to someone licensed. Shouldn't the shop be licensed?? They are con-artists. THEY ALSO WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES ONCE THEY KNOW YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE. My review stands until something is done. I was looking on Facebook marketplace, and came across 10 K autos. I contacted (through fb messenger) them regarding a vehicle I had seen. Yesterday when I got there at 6:30 the staff was busy with customers,but that was OK a looked around the lot and I saw three vehicles I was really really interested in. So I went back today ,and test drove a 2018 Ford Fusion hybrid. I sat down with the owner Pete , He was able to work on the finances so that it was affordable for my family. I was give peace of mind that the finance company gave me a two-year /24,000 mile additional warranty for my vehicle. Pete and his staff were very professional , courteous and accommodating .
