Wow. We could not be more pleased with our condo. Luis, Odin, and everyone that entered our home were so incredibly flexible, professional, kind, and efficient. We needed A LOT of work done to our new condo. Luis came to give us an estimate right away and then we got the project booked as soon as they had an opening for us. Their prices were spot on, and their quality of work was incomparable. Before the start date, we added a few things to the project and Luis was incredible at turning around a new estimate that was detailed and easy to read. They painted our entire condo, removed track lighting and installed 6 new recessed can lights. They changed out the old hardware on the outdated cans to make them look brand new. They changed out the previous owners' awful light fixtures in the second bathroom, dining room, second bedroom, and the master. They removed a built-in cabinet in the second bathroom, removed all old hardware the previous owners so kindly left for us, i.e. speakers, old security system, old nail holes, weird wiring that led to nowhere, etc. Our walls look brand new. Our condo looks brand new! O's Decorating and Painting took care of every little detail. They kept our furniture and belongings safe while they worked, and cleaned up after themselves every night -- and they worked all day and into the evening per our permission. Our huge project took them under a week, and they were accessible night and day when we had questions. We originally started looking for a contractor that could handle a laundry list of mostly cosmetic projects such as patching and painting in the house we'd just purchased that were either left undone or were done at a substandard level by the contractor that renovated the house before we purchased it. After putting out a request through the Yelp search service, O's was one of several that contacted us seeking to provide an estimate for the work. Out of all the contractors that came by to give an estimate, O's was the only one that provided straightforward pricing without playing games like increasing the overall price to make up for projects we decided not to take on just yet, and they also provided an honest assessment of what kinds of materials we'd need to get things to look the way we wanted them to. Luis provided the initial estimate, and was courteous, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from the first time we met him, all the way through the completion of the project. He took time to listen to what we wanted, and provided sound advice on how to get there, instead of just telling us how something had to be done and not considering what we wanted the finished result to look like. He took time to listen to us regarding everything from the big picture of how to get the project from start to completion, to the smallest detail of paint and design, and he continually made sure each piece was done to our complete satisfaction. I can't say enough good things about his project management and how thankful we are to have had him working with us on this. Whenever anything came up, he was always a text or a phone call away, and it was taken care of just like that. I also can't say enough good things about the crews that came to do the work. Every single one of them was friendly, courteous, respectful of our home and our needs while they were working, and most importantly, incredibly skilled in their work. Their skill and attention to detail were phenomenal, and they always took care to make sure everything was done perfectly. I'm sure I told each of them over and over how their work made the house look the way it should have from the beginning, and if we'd had our choice, they would have been the ones to do the work originally. They also took time to do a thorough cleanup at the end of each day, and were happy to check in with us and keep us posted on their progress, as well as making sure we were satisfied with the way things were looking each step of the way. Every single one of them were true professionals in every sense of the word, and their work is second to none. The interior spaces finally look the way we'd envisioned them from the beginning, and they took time to fix all of the issues left by the original contractor down to the smallest detail. Looking now at their truly superior work, I can safely say there's no comparison between the way the house looked before and how it looks now. I also can't thank them enough for everything they did. In the middle of the project, our basement got flooded by the storms in July 2023. The mostly cosmetic project that we'd originally hired O's to do before now became a complete basement renovation, including the replacement of drywall, studs, insulation, the pouring of new concrete, laying of tile, and then painting and decorating the entire basement essentially from scratch. O's team handled this unplanned second phase of our project just as well as they'd handled the first, with Luis providing his stellar project management and each member of the team providing their superior level of workmanship once again. We now have a fully functional finished basement once again, and honestly, one that far exceeds the previous version we had as well. All of this is thanks to the team at O's, who we couldn't possibly have done this without, nor would I trust anyone else to work on our house after having experienced the quality of work we got by hiring O's. In addition to all of this, they made sure to stay within our budget and still managed to give us the home we'd dreamed of all along. We're also already planning our next project with them, and wouldn't even think of going to anyone else. TL;DR: if you need to hire someone to fix literally anything in your home, hire O's. O's Has done a lot of work for us in the past few years. They completely painted our entire house, back in 2016. Then, in 2017, they remodeled our master bathroom. Having small children, they were always considerate about cleaning up and making sure that the dust was at a minimal. In 2019, they repaired and stained our deck. In 2020, they remodeled our garage. I am very happy with the quality of work from this company. Luis came to do the quote and he was very patient and flexible, which was so helpful because I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted done. My tenants had ruined some walls, but I couldn't afford to re-paint every wall in the house so he helped me troubleshoot. We were able to come up with a solution that worked very well and my walls looked beautiful when Emilio, the painter, was finished with them. I was so pleased with the quality of their work, that I hired them again about a month later to repair dry wall in my basement and then repaint the fixed walls. There was a small miscommunication between the quoted job and what was completed. After reaching out to Luis, he quickly addressed the situation and had his repairman/painter back on the same day as our discussion to address the issue. I am a fussy interior architect and finding a painter who has also mastered plastering was going to be a challenge and a half. Luis was top notch from the start to give an estimate on the scope of work to be done and then to send Jorge. Jorge knows his craft plus he is a neatnik like myself. A 24-inch towel bar had to be re-secured with reinforced wood behind the wall, then skilled plastering and priming. The bathroom was updated with fresh paint on a second day. The wall was smooth with no evidence of any work done to it. Also Jorge had chemically removed gold colored stains on a tiled shower stall which was the less invasive method. I had ready replacement tiles and grout. Jorge, indeed, has the "Midas touch!" They will now be the go-to source for all my future clients. read more
