So glad I found this place on yelp! I was able to grab the little bite muffins for $1! So perfect for my kids snacks to take to school. They're priced low because they are expiring in the next couple days but the lady that worked there reassured me that it was safe to still eat them a week after the expiration date (so far no issues) I would def recommend this place if you have an upcoming event or wanted to pick up snacks that you wanted to use either that day or the next couple days! read more

I seen the bimbo/orowheat bread outlet store on instagram. So my family came to Montebello location on a Saturday morning at 8am. It reminds me of the south Pasadena location when I used to go as a kid. There are plenty of orowheat bread, Milton bread $1.50, Sam Franciscan bread, entertans cupcakes, for under $2.00. The cashier was nice and I paid cash and credit card is accepted too. This is a hidden gem. Small parking lot. read more

Great service and great variety of items. I had seen this place once but just drove past it, today I was in the area again and decided to go check it out. They have a great selection of bread for a great price. I will definitely go back as soon as what I bought today runs out. I bought one loaf of bread, 4 boxes of gansitos and other individual bread items. read more

Oroweat Baking Company - Outside the store , the bakery where they make the bread is behind it - Bakeries Near Me - Montebello, California

They take both cash and card. So much cheaper than the grocery store since it's straight from the factory right behind. Great place to come if you need large amount of Oroweat, Bimbo, Entenmann's and other sister brands' bread/products for a party. Came on a Friday and they had lots of things on sale for only $1, we came again the next day on Saturday and the $1 sales were taken off. I'm not too sure when they have their $1 sales. I'll definitely ask next time I'm here. read more

Always a pleasure getting my carbs here. The bread and other bakery item prices are extremely affordable and reasonable, especially compared to grocery stores. Usually I stock up and freeze some. They take credit cards and cash so however you wanna pay. They sometimes have sales so based on your luck the breads can even be more cheap! They also stock a variety of non bakery items like PB&J, soups, chips and other non-perishable foods. The store isn't too big as it's about two aisles size but they keep the store pretty well stocked and usually you can see or smell the fresh baked breads there. read more

I love coming here to get fresh bread at 75% off of the grocery store prices. I keep my bread refrigerated and I freeze extra loaves. I come here for the rye bread, Dill Rye, Russian Rye and Dark Rye. read more

I been buying your Keto bread for about a year now but this product has become more and more inconsistent. It's no longer square and now there's large holes in the loaf. For people who are counting macros, it's important for things to be consistent. I'll probably change brands if this keeps up. read more

Locals place to come and get your favorite Oroweat products. They have a small parking lot and lots of street parking. This is a smaller sized bakery outlet compared to others. They have a wide variety to choose from. Bread, bagels, english muffins, doughnuts, cookies, Bimbo products, Gansitos, Penguinos. Make sure to check the best by dates as most things have dates that are within a week. Staff is quick to ring you up once you are ready to purchase. read more

A hidden gem that is now more expensive too because of the inflation. It's still a good value though! I love to get healthier breads here for a discounted price and you can just freeze them to have them last longer. They have keto bread here! English muffins, hamburger buns, hot dog buns, sourdough. Flatbread sandwiches, pizza crusts, sweets. There is free parking but the lot is small. It doesn't get too busy anyway and staff is nice. They take card! read more

I love this place! Seriously if you like Oroweat products you can't go wrong at this discounted bread outlet. 2 dollars a loaf compared to 6 bucks I normally pay at my local supermarket. Quality at the supermarket maybe a tad better but when toasted or not and adding your favorites toppings one cannot really tell the difference unless you eat it straight up plain. Customer service here is awesome! Parking is plentiful in the private lot. read more

The discounts go from good to amazing, with some items and boxes of items going for $1 at times for the most deeply discounted things. You have to go often as the sales are not announced and seem to just happen, with the shelves emptying in a day on the $1 items, but the good thing is that the deepest sales seem to happen often. read more

Clean, well organized and can't beat the price of bread. The deals are great offers if your buying for a family.

Need bread? Found this place accidentally as I drove around Montebello. Orowheat bread- I buy that at the supermarket. Stopped in and found lots of items. Apparently they bake Entemenns, Bimbo, Marinelas, and some others. Orowheat bread is less than half the cost compared to the supermarkets. Shelf life is not as long but the trick is to put the loaf in the refrigerator. Damn I'm frugal but that's what you have to do when a dozen eggs cost $6.99 a dozen. I'll be back. read more

Best bread & breakfast sweets in town..Great for youth sporting events and potlucks to bring inexpensive items that everyone loves.

My first time at the outlet and they were closed. Note on the doors read: Store is temporary (temporarily) closed until further notice. It didn't have a date when it was written/closed. I peeked from the window and they weren't fully stocked. But there were some items on the shelves to the right. I do hope it's just a temporary closure. read more

They are not open until 10/5/20. Hey, bozos?! They are not open. What a waste of my time driving over on a Saturday.

Does anyone know if this store still open to public? Need to re stock on bread. Hate to have to go to a supermarket.

Love this place!!! I come here for work and end up cleaning up shop. Lol jk but they have good deals. And a sweet rewards program.

Good prices, usually 1/2 to 1/3 of what you would pay at any supermarket. Lots of parking. The employees are friendly and helpful.

Nice in and out location. Never super crowded and fully stocked!! Sourdough, rye - u make it. And the prices are awesome!!! The world famous dairy is on the next block - we've done Donuts and milk runs. And I live 30 miles away!! Don't get scared away by the train tracks. read more
