Before coming out, they called me but I was too busy to take the call, so when they arrived they only had part of the equipment necessary. All the field techs are fantastic very friendly and kind young guys, but the office is terrible. He was nervous at first about my ant problem, but after he assessed the situation and took the elements (cats,dogs,tortoise,small animals) into consideration, he sprayed the nontoxic control chemical. Proceeded to give me detailed instructions on when to let my household go back to "normal", and the next day the pests were under control! Service of the property was great The customer service over the phone was awful. I called because I kept receiving paper bills although I am on auto pay. I spoke with a rep named Jay or Jae and she was as rude as rude can be and had an attitude like she couldn't care less and just wanted to talk over me when I was trying to explain I just want to pay automatically and stop getting statements for future months . Had to cancel the service not because of the guys who treated my property but because of this representative Jae or Jay and her attitude that they don't care one bit if I'm a customer or not. Paid $176 May 2024 start up service. Had one service call, poor service. Called 3 times want a service contract emailed to me, never received one ! Spoke with Tina cancel my service very dissatisfied. They refunded me $56 for another service call but kept my $176!!!! Called June, July, August, I want my initial $176 refunded, Tina said she would talk to manager. Still, now in Sept. still NO refund!!! I was not going to write this however now that I have received a bill for services I canceled over a month ago I will tell my story. I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. About two months ago I began services with Orkin the first visit was canceled because the tech came on the wrong day and never notified me. I let this go and continued services. By the third visit that I didn't set up the tech showed up without warning and called me instead of my husband notified as instructed then he left. After reviewing the receipt which stated they came into the property. Then in the field notes the tech said he left after trying to call without a response. I was still billed even though I never agreed to the date of service and I should not have been charged I decided to call. My phone call was brief and the rep was nasty she hung up on me after I asked the rep, how can you charge for something you say you did but you didn't? I called back and asked to cancel my services. I received a credit for the day of service they never did and thought that was the end. However, a week later I received a notification for a service date after asking to cancel and then saying my services were canceled. I called again and demanded they cancel the appointment and again I thought everything was ok. However, today I received a bill in the mail for a date I didn't have services or have an appointment. This company is full of discrepancies and they do not know how to manage any accounts. It makes no sense why I got a bill for a service that I never asked for. Be careful! read more

Love this company and I swear by them. They are timely, friendly, and extremely thorough. Your concerns will be of the past. I run a multiplex downtown, and initially requested them back in 2017 with multiple infestations, with a very deteriorated property. Knowledgeable AND friendly. Kristen back in 2017/2018 and more recently Phillip M, and Jonathan. I also referred them to some family who owns multiple properties on the north side. I was with Orkin for five years. They raised me three times in five years! They NEVER gave me a notification. I began at $99, then it was $107.42, then it was $123! How do you raise someone by 20% with no notice? It's outrageous. Last year when they raised me to $123, I called to leave them. NOBODY in Henderson charges that much. Nobody. When I called to cancel, their 800 number convinced me to stay and dropped my service calls to $99. Imagine my surprise one year later when Joel came, I went to pay online, and it was raised to $118.99...NO NOTIFICATION!! Now keep in mind that Joel showed up every other month, which in and of itself, keeps pest activity to a minimum. He only sprayed outside, around the perimeter of our house. So how can they justify these 20% increases, without notification, when every one of their competitors charges less, sometimes far less, than $100 per visit? I switched to a highly rated private company who said, "We are not the lowest price exterminator in your neighborhood". For me they are. I'll be paying $75 per visit. Hey Mike Giese, AKA Branch Manager of Orkin, my advice is "Know your competition!". Go to Nextdoor.com and check out all of the recommendations. I just had Orkin Technician, Won, come to service my residence. Won was great. He took the time to walk my property and not only listen to my concerns, but also offered advice on other items of concern he observed and his plan for addressing them all. He spent almost two hours out in the heat spraying and completing exclusionary work to ensure my home is protected from pests and then walked me around the property so I could understand everything that was done. His professionalism, care and work ethic really impressed me and left me feeling confident about my decision to select Orkin as my pest control provider. read more

If I can give this business zero stars I would. After service visits, I needed them to come out because the pest problem was still there. When I first called them, they tell you they would come out free of charge in between service visits if needed, than when I called them for them to come out, they kept saying I have another service visit coming up and that I don't need an in between visit, they kept trying to veer me away from having someone come out in between service visits, they're shady and not honest, wish I never did business with them but lesson learned, for those people who are thinking of doing business with these guys, please don't make the same mistake I did and just go elsewhere where people are nice, professional and honest as the people who work in this office are unfriendly, unprofessional and dishonest. I don't require pest control services but I did request a termite inspection for a VA refinance which is part of the VA Loan process. I introduced myself and asked to schedule a quote. I was instantly told by customer service that I wasn't an existing customer and they could not do the inspection? I'm not understanding why I have to be an existing customer. I'm refinancing a home that is 9 years old in Las Vegas, NV. If I were using a VA loan to purchase a home do you require me or the seller to enroll in a monthly service prior to a state required termite inspection? read more

I must say I bought a business that was just unappreciated by the original owners and thankfully my father and I filpped it it around completely!! I called many many pest control companys and got nothing but run around or some crazy quote! I called Orkin last thinking it was probably gonna be expensive and I was taken by surprise. So I spoke to there field manager Bureno and he set me up with crew member Akos. Akos has not only been able to exteminate all my problems at the store but his customer service is impeccable! please beware of this company. they have definite issues with scheduling. my home inspection was great so i had high hopes for the treatment process. it was scheduled for 8-10 on wednesday. on tuesday i received a call that they were unable to come that day and spray due to rain. i informed them that my treatment wasnt scheduled until next day. due to rain predictions for next dau we rescheduled for twoo weeks later. same time slot. on scheduled day i had not heard anything from them like a reminder or we will be there in a few minutes etc. i called and she checked and said we were scheduled. treatment went ok. tech seemed competent. after finishing he set an appt for one week for a followup. on the follow up day there was no call or text and he was a no show. we had lots of fun waiting around for two hours for him to show up. another concern is that after spraying we saw absolutely no dead bugs. either we had NONE or the solution he used was not that great. all in all feel i wasted money on a service i either didnt need or was not effective. read more

There service was not worth no $360 of my money! A man came and supposedly sealed off a hole in my garage and not even 24 hours that whole was not sealed! My husband had to reseal it. I called to speak with management they stated a manager named Juan would call me back.... I'm still waiting on the call back! Well, not the best at keeping appointments. Called this morning and set an appointment window between 2-4. Waited until 4:30 and no one showed up. Called the call information center and was told someone would call me back and the technician should be there any minute because he was running late. At 5:00 I called the company again only to have a sales person say there was a mistake and the technician was pulled off the call. No one contacted me to let anyone know they were running late or something changed. I missed a half days work for nothing. I originally went online to sign up for their service but I wasn't impressed by the price so I disconued the process.I never paid and I never said I wanted the service.However they have a setup where someone calls you from their offices and attempts to get you to sign up anyways.SO I told them I didn't like the price, the lady signed me up on the phone for what I was told was about half of what I was actually paying, I didn't notice this until months down the line due to it being autocharged.WHen I addressed this with them they only offered me a discount rather than giving me what I was charged over what I was told.Further I was charged for months there was no service done.They basically charge you every month EVEN IF THEY DONT COME an amount which is about %150 what local companies charge .Its not a value and its a low integrity company.I have to say the guy who serviced my home seemed like a standup dude Im pissed because I got stuck with the bill and its principle at this time.I told the lady on the phone I was giving them a chance to right their wrong basically before I left this review and I've already paid the bill but IM gonna tell everyone now how they operate rather than just let it go, I hope the $96 was worth it. read more

Freaked out and saw that my neighbor had Orkin out this morning, so I called the number on the truck. I called around 9:30 a.m. and they offered a window of 12 to 2:00 today! Earlier today, I received an email from Branch Manager Brian Zeck, who lamely claimed that the bill that I received was a "Pre-Bill." The document states in BOLD PRINT "Payment is due when service is rendered." It looks like an actual due-and-bill to me. As noted in my prior review, this Orkin Branch is total BS from top to bottom.
