I have had their service for years and since they got bought out the service is absolutely horrible! I get ants and they have always sprayed for ants. Tell me why this rude "serviceman" sprayed for scorpions which I have never had nor asked to be sprayed for and not the ants that I actually have?! When I called to resolve the issue I got an AI chatbot. Finally got through to a person and they aren't even in the area. Left on hold for an extended amount of time only to be told they would call me back when the local branch called them back. 10/10 would no longer recommend! Ecogen was a good company with excellent technicians and customer service. They were bought out recently by Las Vegas pest control and its been horrible ever since. The customer service starts with an AI reception and you need to request if you want to speak to a real person. The technican that showed up wasn't professional did not ask which areas needed and completely skipped the interior of the garage. Now they tried to schedule a separate appointment for a review. Time is valuable and they could not explain why both appointments could be done simultaneously. I hope the former owners of Ecogen got paid because I and others in my neighborhood are dumping this service. read more

Have had issues in years past with flies. As the summer temperatures rise and my husband does more BBQ ing, it seems the flies desire the cooling inside temperatures. So this year I'm trying to get a jump on things. I have recently become a widower, husband passed in December, so my 'usual' exterminator was no longer available. They were also having a coupon special and I was able to get the service at a discounted price. They use Eco friendly products so they kill the bugs but not the environment or cause harm to my pets. We set up a regular treatment plan and 'knock wood' I haven't seen anything to speak of. I've seen a fly or two but then without my husband coming in and out the sliding door to the backyard patio to BBQ, it may have helped! I recommend EcoGen Pest Control. Billing department is an absolute mess, since they merged with another company. I am still dealing with issues that are 100% the company's fault (didn't correctly bill my card on file) and they can't seem to remedy their mistake. Therefore I am still getting harassed by their collection agency. Issue has been going on almost 4 months. Not worth the headache. Find another pest control company. Also, at this point you'd think the company would offer a credit or do something as an apology for the inconvenience (seriously you stuck your collections agency on me when I had a valid payment on file and you messed up). They haven't done a thing. And for the record. I was a client for almost five years and never missed a payment or had any problems with the company. It would have been nice if they called me before turning me over to a collections agency and we could have figured out THEIR mistake. read more

From 5 to 3: I have discontinued service since the merger. I have always been satisfied with the quality of the pest control service, but the new management is not something I will be dealing with. How it used to be: Called the office: The phone was picked up by a person. If I got to voicemail, it would be promptly returned the same day or the next day if I called after hours. Good communication: The office called me promptly with any changes to my scheduled service. How it was after the merger: Called the office: Never a direct answer, menu prompts. I was ghosted for my first scheduled service since the merger. I called three times with no answer/no return call that afternoon. Lack of taking accountability: When I did get a hold of the office, they would not take any responsibility for my technician not showing up. They said my service tech was sick and he should have called me. The home office should have handled that, and not have expected a sick employee who called out to reach out to customers. read more

The incompetence of this company is infuriating. We've been with Ecogen for close to three years. When we first signed up, we provided them with our credit card and agreed to be automatically charged for their services. In the beginning, things went well, but over time the employees who came out became worse and worse. It got to a point where my wife had to walk with them and ask them to spray certain areas; otherwise, they would do it half-assed. The final straw was when she asked them to lay down some traps, and they gave her the traps and told her to build them herself. At that point, we decided to cancel and find someone new. Upon canceling, they told us we owed them an abhorrent amount of money. How could we owe them money when we were being auto-charged? It turns out that they were either undercharging us or not charging us at all. They let all of the payments pile up. They never once brought this to our attention until we were ready to call it quits. It took weeks to get someone to call us back to explain what was going on. Between us calling every day trying to get an explanation or waiting for a call back, they decided to send my wife to a debt collector because they can't seem to do their job right or handle something as simple as automatic payments. Was happy the first couple visits that they did but lately not so much. Last month I was home the day of the visit but no knock or doorbell rang. I didn't even know they came by til I decided to open my door and the paper was on my door. It's like they didn't even try to see if someone was home. Technicians were great but the administrative staff and business practices are unethical. Overcharged me for months. When I alerted them to the fact and provided a copy of the signed contract showing the correct amount, I was ignored. When I followed up I was given every excuse in the book as to why I still owed the amount that was overcharged. I asked repeatedly for a call back from management but never received one. Finally asked to cancel (and told I had to give 30 days notice because of the contract I had, the same contract that they failed to abide by in regards to monthly charges). Was promised on the phone my verbal cancellation was enough. Didn't trust it so sent an email follow up. Month later got a phone call about my upcoming service because my account was never cancelled. Again asked for a call from management. It's been months and no call to remedy the issue. But you best believe they don't fail to send me constant auto emails and texts about my 'outstanding balance' even though they're the ones who owe me. Completely predatory and unethical. EcoGen is the best pest control company we have ever come across. We started using EcoGen's services in 2023 when I found a massive sun spider (go ahead, look it up) in our garage. We are not fans of this sun spider, at all. I honestly didn't even know spiders could be that size. We aren't even in Australia! We called EcoGen and the process was simple and pleasant from start to finish. Since our initial service, I have only come across dead sun spiders in the garage, usually during the summer, which make us very happy. We have the quarterly service, which is awesome because if we ever feel like we need a re-spray, especially during the summer months, EcoGen will come out and re-treat the house at no extra cost. Our main tech, Mike Clark, is probably the coolest, knowledgeable, and most accommodating person we have ever met. He works diligently and always makes the time to answer any questions that we may have. What we love about Mike is that he is always willing to do what ever makes us comfortable. We asked him to spray the stairs because we had noticed that we had some dead bugs upstairs one time, possibly from climbing the walls first, and he was more than willing to do that. Haven't seen many, if any, bugs since. When you meet Mike, you're welcomed with a smile and positive energy. We could not have asked for a better tech for our home! To top it off, he always brings shoe covers and we have never had to ask him to put it on once. He just does it, and if that's the EcoGen way, then kudos to the company and Mike.
