I've been using Extreme Pest since June 2017. This review is long overdue. I messaged many companies when I was having a large size roach problem. We called them B-52's back home. Rick promptly answered all my questions respectfully and just showed up. Other companies made me feel like it was no big deal or I was overreacting etc. Rick never made me feel this way and the few times I've had to call or message him because of something that concerned me or freaked me out-he has always showed up and taken care of it. I hate bugs so this is important to me. I get monthly treatments and have been bug free since 2017. I love the products he uses-whatever it is. It's safe for my pups and kid and I love this service. Rick has been our pest guy for nearly a year and has been nothing short of fantastic! I am an avid gardener and found myself being bitten by in ground ants who were angry at me when I would disrupt them by watering my plants. Rick took care of the problem and each and every month since. No bites, no harm to my plants (he even sprays the mulch in my potted plants), perfectly safe for my highly sensitive dog. As far as the barrier into our house, in nearly a year I've not even encountered a spider web on my high ceilings. Highly highly recommend Rick and extreme pest control. And a nice, very personable person. The type of person I feel totally comfortable opening my locked gate for each month to take care of business. You won't be disappointed with his very affordable service. Especially to avoid discovering creepy lurkers in the middle of the night, while you are barefoot. UPDATE: In addition to creepy crawly insects, had Rick assist us with desert rodents who decided that my yard was a highway to travel through. He put out bait traps and after a couple months zero activity. I have a major fear of "those things" and he even took the time one day to explain that they are different than the ones you find in the big city's under ground.. still they are no more! Unfortunately rick was not the guy for us. His communication wasn't all that great. He would never respond to my messages and when he did respond it was a week later or the night before he wanted to come spray. At first he was consistent then he just stopped showing up. The owner is very accommodating and very easy to get a hold of throughout the day and always keeps the safety of my pets in mind when he comes out to the house to treat the property. Whether it's the dogs or chickens that I'm concerned about they are super safe but this company. Great experience. Set up an appointment for an evaluation and first time service on a Tuesday afternoon and was given a one-hour appointment window on Thursday morning. The owner/vendor, Rick, called when he was on his way and arrived on time. He walked the house inside and out, asked a few questions, made recommendations, and got the service done quickly. He also came up with a brilliant idea for ridding myself of a rat that has been nesting above my bathroom vent for the past few summers (and that no other pest control company has/had suggested); he will be back soon to take care of it.
