My husband and I moved to Las Vegas a little less than a year ago. We noticed that we had issues with ear wigs inside our house. Since we were getting things done around the house, my husband asked the electrician who was installing our ceiling fans for a recommendation for pest control. The electrician recommended Axis Pest Control. Scott and team came out, assessed what needed to be done inside and outside the house, and sprayed where it needed to be sprayed. Soon enough, the bugs were gone. Scott is very reliable. A few months later, we noticed a rat in our backyard. My husband gave Scott a call, and he was out the next day, putting a bait house to take care of our rat issue. Since then, we haven't seen a rat around. I initially called Axis to start my quarterly spraying upon moving into a home on the SW of town. I always prefer to support local, and based off of reviews I felt like Axis was the best choice in my area. Now that I've been using Axis for three months, I have to take a moment to shout out some serious appreciation to Scott for being an all around GREAT dude. I had a horrific scorpion infestation in my yard, and only realized it upon finding one in my home and getting a black light to be proactive in finding, killing and fending off any further intruders. This time of year in Vegas is scorpion season, and my neighbors don't spray, so I knew it was inevitable...you know, typical one or two here or there. No. Ohh no, let me tell you I was utterly shocked to see my entire back yard light up with what was easily 30+ bark scorpions and scorplings. Yes you read that right, scorpLINGS. Terror doesn't even begin to describe my reaction, and I messaged Scott right away with a video and an ultra-dramatic SOS and he was at my door the next morning first thing. He has come back two more times since to help me mitigate the issue by repeatedly soaking the areas I am seeing these little devils making their homes. Peace of mind is something I would pay any price for, but he has not charged me beyond my normal subscription fees, and I have definitely called upon him multiple times this month. We found them online for a discounted initial service and it sounded like a good idea so I gave them a call and we hooked up with Scott for a spray. He came by and sprayed as promised but beware he has you sign an authorization form to take out $100 for the second spray which interestingly enough is like a month from when you get the discounted service. And then he has you promise to keep getting sprays quarterly after that. The part I don't like is that it's not like " try us out and then if you like us we can come back"- it's making you sign up for an ongoing relationship and for a whopping $150 which we can't afford we just thought we were getting a discounted one spray. The best part is when you try and back out of the 100$ (second) service, he tells you you owe him 100$ for the discounted initial service or you have to get the spray! Now looking back I wish I hadn't gotten the initial spray at all. So I figured I'd write a review to warn other people.
