I have used Bee Wise for a couple years now and can confirm they get the job done right. My house backs up to the desert, so we have lots of insects and other critters to contend with. I first called Bee Wise to take care of a wasp problem underneath my roof's shingles. Romie came out, examined the exterior of the house, and treated infested areas. Whatever he does lasts longer than the prior company we used--12 to 18 months. When we learned Bee Wise does regular pest control, we signed up for treatments every other month. Not only was service cheaper than Ecogen, our prior company, Romie is kind, always explains everything, and is on time. He did such a good job we ordered service for our daughter's house, too. Once Romie treated for scorpions, we haven't seen a single one. I love that this is a family company with a real (and very helpful) person to answer the phone and communicate about service. They even told me I only needed bi monthly service but because I have a small child that likes to make a mass I think I need monthly service so I signed up for monthly but the idea that they suggested bi monthly I knew they were a great company not just trying to take my money! Update: The owner has since called and explained the situation. He kept apologizing for the mixup. While I am still going with another company, I do not believe that this would be a reoccurring problem. I contacted this company to assist with bee removal. I was advised that a family emergency had occurred and that they would have to schedule me out several days. Based on their reviews, I decided to schedule the appointment. The appointment time came and went and no one showed up. I contacted the company and they advised me that a family emergency had just occurred and that they were not available. I stated that is why they scheduled the appointment several days later. I was told that they would not be able to come out. Apparently the family emergency occurred on Saturday and my appointment is today (Wednesday). Now, I understand that things happen and I am sorry for whatever emergency they are dealing with; however a no call no show is unprofessional. Excellent service! Called late Friday because I saw wasps nearby. The office manager gal was calming and gave me a rough quote over the phone. He walked around my property and pointed out a few things, gave me a lesson in WASP 101 (evem showing me nests out of his trunk), and gave me a few tips wasp that were "scouting" near my house. Been having problems with wasps slowly but surely taking over our yard this season. Couldn't find any nests. Called out Bee Wise and Romie was so professional, friendly, and full of information. Unfortunately he said we have one of the worst infestations he's seen and with NO nests on our property. We have 3 different breeds of wasps and after he left we discovered there was a 4th milling around as well. FML right? Have spent this year really working on getting our yard looking great and realized we're severely overwatering and causing an infestation of white nats/flies and their larvae are living in our overly wet grass/ground and the wasps are loving life. They're also attacking our mint plant to eat whatever is eating the plant. Lol We've even had huge dragon flies showing up which really shows the amount of water present. Romie suggested we remove the infested mint plant and dry the yard out a little bit. We have a 2 year old son and 2 big dogs with an above ground pool in the back yard and a garden that is currently growing fall harvest items. This made some pesticide options a no go, but we need a safe backyard for our son. Romie was very apologetic that there was nothing else he could do for us and understood our concern as he also has children. He waived the $50 inspection fee and really made my bad day a little brighter. I have to say after a few days of following his tips the number of wasps has dropped dramatically and we've been able to enjoy the backyard again. Recently I saw a swarm of bees in my backyard hovering near our stone waterfalls and bushes, and since my husband is allergic to bees- I didn't want to take any chances so I called several places requesting a quote until I finally decided on BeeWise Pest Control, and they came the following day. They found the culprit of the activity: a honeycomb in between the rocks and he was able to get rid of it. He told me to keep an eye on it and that if I saw any activity in the next few days, to let them know and they would come out again free of charge. But, what impressed me most was the fact that he was looking around in my neighbors yards for any pets so that I can inform them that we just sprayed and that there may be dead bees lying around in the vicinity. Since I moved to Vegas seven years ago - I have always had monthly pest control service, however, over the past few months - I had been pretty disappointed with my old service. Last weekend - I found a strange bee hive near the base of my house on a Saturday afternoon around 5. I looked on Yelp and saw reviews for Bee Wise so placed a call. It was very late in the day but the receptionist assured me that she could have someone out in the morning which was fine with me. I got to talking to her about my old pest service and decided to switch to Bee Wise. When the tech arrived at my door, he was in a uniform and handed me his business card. As compared to my other service - this impressed me. I took him outside and showed him the next and he advised they were mud dabber bees. While he there - he also found an additional nest of wasps in a different location. He removed both hives and did treatment both inside and outside of the home. He was extremely informative, listened to my concerns and was very pleasant. While he was outside getting my invoice - I took some plastic cups out to offer him some water on the way out and then totally forgot to ask him if he needed some for the ride. I feel really badly.
