Re: the response from the owner. That is absolutely untrue. He told me he would issue his report in…read moretwo weeks time in order to give me adequate time to find the original inspection report from the home purchase since I was 2,000 miles from its location at my residency in order to prove the damage was old. Then he finalized the report in writing in two days time instead. He called me at work when I asked in email why he did this. I asked him some questions I had from a totally contradictory exchange with a contractor I hired to do the recommended work that the owner said he couldn't do and ultimately the second contractor said wasn't necessary because the house had obviously been treated and the damage on the one piece of wood was obviously not fresh. I was trying to get to the root of which one of them was correct and how they might both be if, if that were possible, so as to neither leave the property unprotected nor pay thousands of dollars for unnecessary work. Will was immediately defensive and ultimately so rude I had to hang up because it was inappropriate for me to respond in kind in a professional environment. Then he called back and left a 3 minute long diatribe on my voicemail followed by an email offering more than the cost of the report so I wouldn't report him to the site I had hired him from. (I have visual voicemail I may provide them if this discourse continues.) Overall, although he was incredibly unprofessional in addition to being technically inaccurate, the key issue here is that the owner has no concept of how issuing an incorrect report on a property can affect the property record, value or future costs to the owner. He's working in 50 increments: a scale disproportionate to the property owner's investment to which he should be considerate if he cannot be accurate or polite. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that had I been a salt and peppered hair male that owns 10 properties, his behavior would have been entirely different. If not, good luck to him in his future endeavours; this business won't last. And for the record: I had absolutely no issue with Victor who is apparently doing an apprenticeship with Will. Though I would recommend him a better mentor, he is under Will's guidance; it was not Victor's expertise I hired. Will should not be hiding behind him or throwing him under the bus. Also, I promised Will after listening to his voicemail that his unsolicited bribe would not spare him a negative review. I was kind enough not to post with the company that had brought him my business as it worked for him at least that one time. However having that heads up weeks ago, Will has apparently had so many negative customer experiences it took him this long to determine whom had posted this particular review (on the #1 consumer review website) and respond. Very telling.

Ehrlich has said multiple times they would call within 48hrs and have not. They have blatantly lied over and over again. I just got off the phone with the collections agency company and they have been way more helpful than Ehrlich. They have records showing that we canceled over a year ago and aren't sure why Ehrlich would send them anything to do with our canceled account. After this is resolved we will be taking legal action. They tried multiple times to rip us off by sending bills for services never rendered. Unfortunately for them, there is a fantastic attorney living under the same roof. UPDATE PART 2 today: ARM Solutions just called and they have taken care of the problem. They have been super helpful and were the only ones interested in helping us. Do your research before you choose a company like Ehrlich.

We used to get a phone call to set up our quarterly appointment, now they just show up and trying to reschedule is almost impossible.
