Have the stars aligned at Orion? This place is a Polish delight! Prepare for authentic food, excellent service, and generous portions. All for a very reasonable price. Located across from a plasma blood center, Orion is unassuming from the exterior. But inside, it is delightful! The Pierogi (stuffed pasta) was moist, tender, and explosive with flavor--in my case, potato and cabbage-mushroom. The Zbojinicki (Pork Cutlet) is as worthy as an Iowa pork fritter! Crispy and bursting with tenderloin flavor. The sides of red cabbage and cucumber were as fresh as could be with excellent texture. Truly refreshing and complimentary to the pork. The service was slow, but one needs time to digest between auch hearty courses! I'm new to Polish food, but as a restaurant, it is one of the best out there. Exceptional!

Great food. Had stuffed cabbage with cold cucumber salad. My buddy had a Hungarian beefcake. Service was slow, but maybe she had a bad day.

I ran to this place on Tuesday night. At first it seemed like a dive bar. As I made my way past the bar I was surprised to see a real nice environment. My server she happen to be polish very nice, Service oriented and eager to help. She recommended a Hungarian dish (beef cake). Kind of like potato pancakes layered with beef stew. Best thing ive ever had. The stew was tasty and the beef was very tender. For the side she recommended the beets that was just perfect. They really didn't have desert but instead I ordered the cheese blinzie (crapes filed with cheese) . Not too sweet but perfect. Great service, wonderful food. Definitely going back.

We ate at the bar and were served promptly and with lots of courtesy.

We had the cheese and potato pierogis, Żurek, pickle soup, and the goulash with potato pancakes, and every single dish was packed full of rich, homemade flavor. The goulash and potato pancakes were so good that we honestly wished they gave more than two. Our waitress was amazing as well, super friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The portions were generous, everything arrived hot and fresh, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every recipe. It felt like a true home cooked meal in the best way. We left full, happy, and we're already planning our next visit. Also side note - We've also ordered their food through DoorDash, and it was just as delicious. Some places lose quality when delivered, but not this one, everything still tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor.

This time, my host recommended Smakosz and I was quite impressed! I wish I had a bigger appetite because there was so much that was appealing on the menu! I settled on gołąbki, which is a dish my wife and I have made at home. The cabbage leaves on Smakosz's gołąbki were incredibly tender, and the flavor was everything I'd come to expect. Our server was delightful and attentive, and the ambiance is warm and cozy. If you're in the area and love good Polish food, I think you'll be quite happy you visited.

And as soon we were done came back and said "are you ready to pay now" they were aggrieved to work yet exited to take money! The staff is incredible and fun, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is quite pleasant. In terms of dishes, we tried the Carpathian wild mushroom soup with black truffle oil, cabbage rolls, crispy potato pancakes, and the colorful party platter, which comes with an assortment of pierogis. The party platter was my personal favorite. They have many tasty cocktails, infused spirits, and mocktails to choose from. The Glory to Ukraine shot is delicious and highly recommended. It's cold but intriguing. Though I might not order it a second time, I was glad to try it and a single serving is only $5 that they split into 4 shots. The wheel of fun honestly made my night! And the berry compote carafe is definitely worth $15. We had the party platter of varenyky and substituted the red beef ones for more potato ones. But next time I really want more orange pork varenyky! They're sweet and savory and I was reluctant to share the 4 on the plate! We also had barosh (polenta balls) and the potato pancakes (super circular!), which, much like my previous review, were a hit! The mushroom sauce that comes with both is just soooo good. I love mushrooms, know why? Cause I'm a FUN guy. Circular foods, circular drinks, all come full circle. And I will come again, the next special occasion I have. Quite a delight on a Friday night! And surprisingly they were not too busy and the twinkle lights and the Christmas tree outside really made it feel cozy and special.

I enjoyed the salad and the sour cream. Bread Basket - House-made rye, sourdough, wheat, lavash My family enjoyed the bread. 100% My son ordered and he ate it up. There's a small parking lot in the back but that was full so we parked on the street. We were immediately seated and drink orders were taken as well as soup (which is included). Drinks are added separately and not inclusive of the $34 per person. I had the borscht and that was tasty and comforting. My brother in law didn't waste any time and he immediately got his first plate going. My sister and I took our time to enjoy the soup. I then started with the appetizers and tried the different salads. It was cool to see they had aspic since that's not something you see often either. When I eventually made my way to the warm food, I was overwhelmed by all the choices. I tried to take one of everything but even then it was too much so I didn't get to try it all. The meats that I did try were super tender and juicy. They definitely know what they're doing with the meats! The dessert area had so many different options. There was cake, flan and cheesecakes. So many to choose from! I think I just love Polish food in general because of the comfort food aspect. The proteins are usually simmered in gravy and you get to pair it with potatoes cooked in all sort of ways! My sister was adventurous and just started putting random stuff on her plate that I've never seen before. She found the meat spread and that was surprisingly good too.
