We visited here on a Saturday for lunch and were seated right away. The restaurant is cute and clean on the inside. We started with soups and the potato pancakes, which ended up being the highlight of the meal. The service was friendly but very slow. It was one girl hosting, serving, running food, cleaning tables, and serving checks. At the time of our visit almost every table was filled, so you can imagine how hard she had to work. The entrees were decent. We rated them around 6/10-7/10.

Met up with some dear relatives, wanted some food we both love & miss. Found parking right in front of the restaurant! Rockstar Parking!!! The outside of the building fit into the Chicago look. Inside was very clean, modern & well lit. We were seated immediately, our Waitstaff was Kasia, very pleasant and quite accommodating. We ordered Some Zywiec Beer, soda & a Vodka Martini with Two Flags Vodka(premium Vodka). Hit the spot. The Steak Tartare was very impressive, served with hard boiled eggs, onions seasoned perfectly with plenty of rye bread. Rosołe was perfect Polish Penicillin...will cure everything; Definitely made from scratch. Ordered the Polish plate, Pork cutlet, Polish Sausage mashed potatoes with Sauer Kraut, plate of Russian Pierogi, and Meat Dumplings called Pyzy. Must say we had no room for dessert, but that's okay. Looking forward to returning with our immediate Family soon. Smacznego, Nazdrowie & Cheers!

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and the menu looked amazing. We arrived shortly after 1 pm and it was fairly busy with almost all table being taken. The server was very nice and found us a table. The food was incredible between the potato pancakes, beef roast, and sour soup. Great flavors and portions. There's no doubt that we will be returning. They do need to hire or add more server support though. Our server had to run all over the place and you could tell she was tired. Definitely recommended.

$$: 2 ppl for about $50 Food: As a first time visitor, of course have to try the polish food assortment and traditional sour soup. It turns out not bad. I like the pork chop and cabbage roll. The pork chop tastes like tonkatsu, crispy and light breaded. Sour soup well solved my nauseous from long drive. Service: they only have 1 server, so kind of slow, and you have to ask for the bread and water, otherwise she might assume you don't need it... Ambiance: small and cozy, nice place to grab a quick lunch.

Happy to return after they had a sort period off close while they did renovations. The restaurant is beautifully refreshed, and the food is as delicious as ever. We're so glad to have this thriving authentic restaurant and its wonderful crew so close to home.

The portions were generous, everything arrived hot and fresh, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every recipe. It felt like a true home cooked meal in the best way. We left full, happy, and we're already planning our next visit. Also side note - We've also ordered their food through DoorDash, and it was just as delicious. Some places lose quality when delivered, but not this one, everything still tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor.

It's cold but intriguing. Though I might not order it a second time, I was glad to try it and a single serving is only $5 that they split into 4 shots. The wheel of fun honestly made my night! And the berry compote carafe is definitely worth $15. We had the party platter of varenyky and substituted the red beef ones for more potato ones. But next time I really want more orange pork varenyky! They're sweet and savory and I was reluctant to share the 4 on the plate! We also had barosh (polenta balls) and the potato pancakes (super circular!), which, much like my previous review, were a hit! The mushroom sauce that comes with both is just soooo good. I love mushrooms, know why? Cause I'm a FUN guy. Circular foods, circular drinks, all come full circle. And I will come again, the next special occasion I have. Quite a delight on a Friday night! And surprisingly they were not too busy and the twinkle lights and the Christmas tree outside really made it feel cozy and special.

The decor was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. My one real complaint is that it's pretty crowded, especially when you have to squeeze between chairs multiple times to get back to the buffet. Prices are reasonable for all you can eat, considering the quality of the food. They're only open on weekends, so skip breakfast and come hungry and you're sure to leave stuffed and well satisfied.

I had the borscht and that was tasty and comforting. My brother in law didn't waste any time and he immediately got his first plate going. My sister and I took our time to enjoy the soup. I then started with the appetizers and tried the different salads. It was cool to see they had aspic since that's not something you see often either. When I eventually made my way to the warm food, I was overwhelmed by all the choices. I tried to take one of everything but even then it was too much so I didn't get to try it all. The meats that I did try were super tender and juicy. They definitely know what they're doing with the meats! The dessert area had so many different options. There was cake, flan and cheesecakes. So many to choose from! I think I just love Polish food in general because of the comfort food aspect. The proteins are usually simmered in gravy and you get to pair it with potatoes cooked in all sort of ways! My sister was adventurous and just started putting random stuff on her plate that I've never seen before. She found the meat spread and that was surprisingly good too. If you're ever in the area, try to go before the dinner rush. It's a great space and is deserving of the title "Largest Polish buffet in Chicagoland".
