If I could give ZERO stars I would. I am new to the Tempe area and was looking for a really good and really fresh New York Style Pizza joint (My favorite type). OMG this place completely missed the mark!!! I have never in my life had such utterly awful pizza and such a terrible customer experience. I ordered the Biggest Most Expensive Pizza ($45) 2 times due to the staff getting my order incorrect initially. When my first pizza arrived. it was ICE cold. The bread on the pizza was extremely doughy and the cheese tasted very poor in quality but most disgusting was the fact that it was excessively covered in a pool of fattening grease. Despite this, I decided I'd give it a small bite...... only to discover the Pizza did not have Tomato sauce on it! They served me a Pizza with NO Tomato Sauce!!!! like who does that? I called to complain and they told me if I wanted another pizza delivered to me I'd have to spend at least another $10 on an additional purchase to make the delivery worthwhile. I stupidly decided to buy another purchase, A Greek salad, in order to get the correct Pizza which i later regretted. The pizza Arrived with the Incomplete Greek salad and it was just as repulsive as the previous order. The pizza was again covered in grease and the quality was HOT GARBAGE. They also forgot to put Feta Cheese on my Greek Salad which i was really looking forward to. Ordering pizza from Original Geno's was an Extreme disappointment. I will not be returning due to the incompetent staff and poor quality food and service. What a shame! read more

Really is a 3.5 star review, but overall was satisfied. Pros: we ordered the 2 medium 1 topping pizzas carry out deal for $11 which was a pretty great deal. The pizza came out fast and tasted good, especially the onions. The ranch was also super tasty. We only got those items but they have a pretty extensive menu. Cons: they filled the ranch cups up half full (grrr) and when I asked the cashier for cheese and peppers, she searched around frantically and couldn't find any. She also did not know about the carry out deal when I first mentioned. Just very disorganized and off putting. Would try this place again though! read more

Called in they told me it'd be 10 minutes once I got there I paid for my pizza and had to wait an additional 15 minutes because they did not start my pizza until I arrived. Both the food and my men Anthony and David were doing the most. we sat down after ordering and Anthony comes over to bring us a napkin dispenser. small gesture but it showed alot about his customer service when it's late at night and the end of his shift, he's still doing the most for us. Food was good. I ordered 8 sandwiches for a company meeting as soon as they opened at 10 for a 12pm deliver. 1230 rolls around so I call and ask for status. Manager Maggie answer and informed me that I can't order in advance and expect my deliver to be on time. She continued that there are orders being called in that need to go out before my call ahead order. All decent and no complaints so I decided to try their sandwiches since Jimmy John's won't deliver to me- despite being under 2.5 mi away ... it's hard to find a dang place that will send over regular subs (No to meatball, parmesan, etc)! I was so happy to see Genos does. I ordered an oven baked turkey sub, a regular turkey sub, and an Italian sub. - NOT all eaten but I'm pregnant and couldn't decide which I wanted. I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near Sky Harbor and quickly realized my delivery food options were slim to none around lunchtime. After some Yelp filtering I found this place and figured why not give it a shot. I ordered through the online system within Yelp which was very easy to use and navigate. My quoted wait time was 45-60 mins and my order did arrive to my hotel room door by that time. Food wise my sandwich was pretty good. I had the Italian sub, toasted with mild peppers added. The bread was a bit soggy when it arrived, but that was probably due to the car ride. The taste of the meats was really my favorite. Very flavorful and delicious. Overall this was a good delivery lunch option and I'd recommend it to any other hotel stayers in the area! read more

Geno's is great, they are open literally all the time and they always are kind to me when I come in to pick food up no matter what time of day it is. We just went to Gino's for the first time. I was craving a Philly Cheesesteak. It was 4 pm on a Friday, so we were the only patron's at the time. We purchased a Groupon $20 for $10 so we got a great deal. Tried the OG Philly, Loaded fries & a slice. Service was great. Dining room clean enough and decor sleek. The cheesesteak hit the spot, the slice was good, the garlic oil on the crust was delicious and the loaded fries were definitely loaded. All-in-all in was a great meal.
