Great cheese steak. Bread, seasoning, wiz, meat. The onions were cooked perfect. All great. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

This is my go to pizza joint, and normally for their price i would say they are beyond 5 stars. i come back just about every week but man the pizza was trash tonight and i'm leaving this review to let the owners/managers/workers/who-ever know that they need to train who ever is making pizza the proper way to do it. The pizza was a mess: - Toppings: The middle 66% of the pizza had toppings but nothing else, after the first 3-5 bites of a slice i was legit having a cheese pizza, like what the hell. - Cheese: there was way too much, it was sticking and dragging, it seemed like there was probably triple the cheese then usual. - Breading: my crust was not flavored like asked, on top the bread was much fluffier than normal, typically genos makes a thinner-than-most standard crust (not thin crust), the pizza seemed smaller in diameter than normal too and really i think the pizza maker just didn't take the time to spread the dough enough. - Sauce: For the pizza i received it needed more sauce to go with the bread and cheese, BUT i think the sauce amount is the usual which works when the other portions are normal. I'll be coming back in a week or two and will update if things changes. Otherwise I don't want a refund, I just want my pizza to taste good again, Genos usually offers a much better pizza than others, and tonight I was disappointed to say the least. Pic for proof. read more

What a perfect pizza. The cheese is tasty and generous, the sauce delicious, and even the pepperoni perfectly cooked -- almost candied but not burned- on top The crust is like the best aspects of Papa John's and Pizza Hut. A deliciously chewy/crispy crust that the handles even taste like a very subtle herb seasoning, hardly noticeable but was so good. What a gem read more

Sometimes a place needs a Facelift! Genos is under new ownership and the service is amazing! Food is amazing and the Philly Cheese is awesome! Go check them out! read more

Best pizza I've had in Arizona by far. I got a slice of the Hawaiian & an order of chicken bacon ranch fries, the pizza was great & had a lot of flavor it was also huge! The fries had great flavor & was wide cut, the only thing I'd ask different is for the fries to be a little crunchier & more ranch, other than that it was amazing! Did not have to wait long for my food either, definitely recommending this place to my friends. read more

I loved this place. Ordered here once a week probably. I ordered through Grubhub and they sent me a raw pizza ( along with 50 bucks of other good food) the dough was literally just soft dough. I HATE calling Grubhub because they make me feel like I'm lying and I just wanted my pizza. So I called Genos to just have them replace it. And they wouldn't call back for days and eventually wouldn't help! And told me to call Grubhub, even though now It's too late to call Grubhub because it's been 24 hours. Both Grubhub and the restaurant has found a way to take advantage of the customer and this business is greedily on the bandwagon. They lost a 50 dollar a week customer- so their bad. So sad, so gross, I literally cried because it's just like everyone is greedy and bad now. read more

Haven't been here in a while and Damien and Frankie totally hooked us up. Service was super fast, they really took care of us and helped us get the best price for our food. Heard there was new owner and it definitely shows, the place looks great with new menus and signs and just overall seems better. Gave us plates, ranch, and super great service. Would definitely come back again!! read more

Please let me know about this problem. ASU coupon clearly says that you need to show the coupon for 5$ one. The other coupons say that they need to be presented. All employees understand this except one. He says all other employees are at fault. Other employees understand what is written on the coupon and ask for ID and to just see the coupon. This particular employee demands the coupon and keeps arguing. Please let me know what is correct, is this one employee correct or all the other employees are. read more

Really is a 3.5 star review, but overall was satisfied. Pros: we ordered the 2 medium 1 topping pizzas carry out deal for $11 which was a pretty great deal. The pizza came out fast and tasted good, especially the onions. The ranch was also super tasty. We only got those items but they have a pretty extensive menu. Cons: they filled the ranch cups up half full (grrr) and when I asked the cashier for cheese and peppers, she searched around frantically and couldn't find any. She also did not know about the carry out deal when I first mentioned. Just very disorganized and off putting. Would try this place again though! read more

Okay so naturally I am a Pizza enthusiast I love pizza. Geno's has good flavor for-sure no doubt about that. I enjoy their daily deals I think they are great !! I like their ranch so that's a plus for me. I gave this place a 3 star only because of the customer service it's not the friendliest staff. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I am new to the Tempe area and was looking for a really good and really fresh New York Style Pizza joint (My favorite type). OMG this place completely missed the mark!!! I have never in my life had such utterly awful pizza and such a terrible customer experience. I ordered the Biggest Most Expensive Pizza ($45) 2 times due to the staff getting my order incorrect initially. When my first pizza arrived. it was ICE cold. The bread on the pizza was extremely doughy and the cheese tasted very poor in quality but most disgusting was the fact that it was excessively covered in a pool of fattening grease. Despite this, I decided I'd give it a small bite...... only to discover the Pizza did not have Tomato sauce on it! They served me a Pizza with NO Tomato Sauce!!!! like who does that? I called to complain and they told me if I wanted another pizza delivered to me I'd have to spend at least another $10 on an additional purchase to make the delivery worthwhile. I stupidly decided to buy another purchase, A Greek salad, in order to get the correct Pizza which i later regretted. The pizza Arrived with the Incomplete Greek salad and it was just as repulsive as the previous order. The pizza was again covered in grease and the quality was HOT GARBAGE. They also forgot to put Feta Cheese on my Greek Salad which i was really looking forward to. Ordering pizza from Original Geno's was an Extreme disappointment. I will not be returning due to the incompetent staff and poor quality food and service. What a shame! read more

I order here often because food is good but the last few I mean like 5x I order a Philly sub with extra cheese wiz, white American and mozzarella I don't get any of it. Who ever is making the subs sucks and doesn't know how to read an order because how do you messed up 2 same subs twice?!!! They even put chicken in it!!! It doesn't come with chicken. Mind you I paid for EXTRA cheese. It's nothing but meat and onions. read more

We were so happy to discover this hidden gem! Our pizza was outstanding and the chicken bacon ranch baked fries were the bomb, and as a bonus they had the Suns game on. Love coming here when we get the chance. The service is always wonderful. Our go to is the Chicken Bacon Ranch Specialty pizza with garlic butter crust; YUM! It was great as always this evening. We'll definitely be back soon when we need our pizza fixing. read more

Everything was subpar. The cheesesteak had more onions than meat. The bread wasn't toasted.

Best Italian sub Ive ever had! Made hot and fresh, great bread. Outstanding. I will be back.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near Sky Harbor and quickly realized my delivery food options were slim to none around lunchtime. After some Yelp filtering I found this place and figured why not give it a shot. I ordered through the online system within Yelp which was very easy to use and navigate. My quoted wait time was 45-60 mins and my order did arrive to my hotel room door by that time. Food wise my sandwich was pretty good. I had the Italian sub, toasted with mild peppers added. The bread was a bit soggy when it arrived, but that was probably due to the car ride. The taste of the meats was really my favorite. Very flavorful and delicious. Overall this was a good delivery lunch option and I'd recommend it to any other hotel stayers in the area! read more

I'm not going to be a pretend to be an expert on cheesesteaks. The only thing that I know is that a "Wit Whiz" is the ONLY WAY to make a cheesesteak, not some peppers and provolone way. With that out of the way, let me tell you about Geno's. It's not a bad 'steak. It just costs too much. Does it beat Forefather's? No. No one does. Does it beat Philly's Famous, Philly's, or Zesty Zzeeks? Well, probably not, but it's not bad, is what I'm saying. Just too expensive. The fries are good & hot, as was the 'steak, Wit Whiz. I may be back for a second try, but unless the price on a sandwich comes down, I know how it tastes. read more

Food was good. I ordered 8 sandwiches for a company meeting as soon as they opened at 10 for a 12pm deliver. 1230 rolls around so I call and ask for status. Manager Maggie answer and informed me that I can't order in advance and expect my deliver to be on time. She continued that there are orders being called in that need to go out before my call ahead order. Maggie suggested next time I make a big order to call 45 mins in advanced and I "should" get my food on time Never again. Food is great! read more

Called in they told me it'd be 10 minutes once I got there I paid for my pizza and had to wait an additional 15 minutes because they did not start my pizza until I arrived. I tried to ask when my pizza would be ready and was ignored twice and then was rudely told idk it's coming out now. There's only two of us so you'll just have to wait. I don't mind waiting but I called in my order to do my waiting at home. So it's very upsetting to not have a pizza ready when I was told. Then the pizza I received looks like that with the sauce smashed into the pizza and the crust messed up. I ordered the asu student medium 1 topping pizza and I added pineapple and a garlic sauce. She also forgot to add my parmesan and crushed peppers as well read more

Fantastic. Both the food and my men Anthony and David were doing the most. we sat down after ordering and Anthony comes over to bring us a napkin dispenser. small gesture but it showed alot about his customer service when it's late at night and the end of his shift, he's still doing the most for us. David was in the back cheffing it up, getting us our food super fast and perfectly done. great place to come eat. Give my guys raises. Kindest dudes I've seen working this late before, 10/10 customer service and 10/10 food. Great philly's. read more

We ordered a burger, cheese steak, and pizza from here. All decent and no complaints so I decided to try their sandwiches since Jimmy John's won't deliver to me- despite being under 2.5 mi away ... it's hard to find a dang place that will send over regular subs (No to meatball, parmesan, etc)! I was so happy to see Genos does. I ordered an oven baked turkey sub, a regular turkey sub, and an Italian sub. - NOT all eaten but I'm pregnant and couldn't decide which I wanted. I have to heat the deli meat anyway to kill any bacteria, pg problems. ANYWAY, they got my order correct, AND included LOTS of pickles per my request. They didn't skimp on the meat and the subs are huge. I think I have 6 meals taken care of now. A half is perfect for me. Management- thank you so much for those pickles. I needed them! read more

The customer service here is a joke. Rude asf. The pizza is horrible. The only thing good is the frys and for some reason even those take 30+ min to make and come out cold. On Wednesday the 27th, we called in to order a pizza at around 10:30pm and the women who answered the phone left us with sighs and very rhetorical sounding answers. Naturally we thought it was funny someone was getting worked up over such a menial task, after telling us the price and time the order would have been completed we came into pick up our order and to our surprise they had not completed our order and then refused us all service. We can by on a Wednesday for pizza, and the woman who took our order spoke to us like we were stupid the entire time. Then we misheard the name she called and accidentally grabbed the wrong order.
