Disappointed. Not because the food was not good, it was. But because it was not what I ordered. And, it was not busy in the restaurant. So is no way to argue it was because of anything other than inattention. Will probably try again but will rip the bags open in front of the other customers to make sure the order is right before leaving. This was the new Frankfort location, not Georgetown. read more

This is one of the only places in Georgetown to get Chinese food. It's our go to for take out nights. They have a drive thru but expect to wait as the food is made fresh. We've tried to order ahead of time via phone but still end up waiting so now we just do the drive thru. Service is pretty cut and dry. But that's alright with me. read more

Whoa, it's easy to miss this place when you drive by. I know, because I never realized this was here until we joined some friends for dinner earlier this evening. Looks like a hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant but is kind of charming inside. I think it is family-owned because we were greeted and served by a couple young girls. Drinks came quickly. Menus are on the table under the glass. Most of the dish entrees come with egg rolls and fried rice, which was cool considering the prices (roughly $8 a plate). I ordered Lemon Chicken. Apparently she thought I said chicken lo mien because fifteen minutes later, it was placed in front of me. Oops. Back to the kitchen with the correct order and another fifteen minutes before the right dish arrived. Thankfully, it was really good! And generous! Huge portions! I was so stuffed halfway through the meal. Of course they finished it off with a fortune cookie. Regardless of the chicken mix up, I'd come here again. And order the same dish. So good. The couple that runs the place is very friendly and they work hard to make sure you are happy with what you ordered. This is our go-to Chinese place. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. The service is always fast and friendly. It's rated as fast-food but this place beats even the restaurants in Lexington for quality. The inside is getting a little dated, but it is clean. Only drive- thru is open during the pandemic. The drive often a wrapped around the building and they come to your car to take your order, but it moves quickly. I highly recommend the Mongolian Beef and won-ton soup. read more

A decent family-run small-town Chinese restaurant. It's basically like countless others across the country, roughly the same dishes and such. The portion size and quality is adequate, but not amazing. Service is okay, but not exceptional. They don't deliver, which is a shame because Georgetown doesn't have any Chinese delivery. They also have a $10 minimum order for credit/debit cards that puts a person eating alone at probably having to use cash. read more

Me and my boyfriend moved to Georgetown from Lexington last year. We have discovered that this place is the best (possibly the only) Chinese food in town! Sesame chicken is very good, I've tried the sweet and sour chicken which is also delicious, my boyfriend always gets General Tsos, which he has said is also very good. He prefers the noodles. Listening to the other poor reviews and / or the door dash / grub hub / Uber eats drivers is a sad mistake here! I have been here years ago, and Saturday night (8 January '22) and had no issues with a to-go order that I picked up! The best advice is to ask for the order to be read back to you if you are using a delivery service... and do not tell your service to demand free food because you did not check what you ordered! We ordered orange chicken fried rice and an egg roll, General Tso's chicken with vegetable fried rice and an egg roll, Sesame chicken pork fried rice and an egg roll, as well as two orders of crab Rangoon. The egg rolls are more like a spring rolls in texture. But even after a 15 min ride home they were still crispy and hot! The orange chicken and general tso's chicken were not as hot (spicy) as usually prepared but still good! The Rangoon also hot and crispy after the ride home. Overall a 4/5 for us! The service is also very fast - 7 minutes from order to in my car! As the only place in town to get traditional American Chinese they are doing a great job!!! read more

And the girl who answers the phone is so rude and rushes you. I ask to pay for a pick up order by phone and was snapped at like I was stupid for asking. We have three levels of Chinese Food in Georgetown. Orient Express is my top place to go they are a little pricier than Shanghai and the Buffet I won't go to due to getting sick last time I ate there. My favorite here is Mongolian Beef, love this dish. My son usually gets Singapore Noodles, not his favorite he prefers Shanghai. This restaurant has been a staple of Georgetown for years. Today was our first time to dine here. Overall, it was a good experience. The restaurant is old and a bit 'worn' looking, inside and out, but the food was good, reasonably priced, and the service was good also. We arrived about 12:45 and were the only patrons there for awhile...which was initially concerning. Two other couples came in later on. I ordered the lunch portion of sweet and sour chicken and my husband had the lunch portion of sesame chicken. The food was hot and there was more than I could eat. The egg rolls didn't have much flavor and the soft drinks were flat but everything else was tasty. Will probably go again. read more
