Food was great as was the service. Very friendly. They do a lot of drive through. If you like oriental food, this is your place.

Great Chinese food! Fast. Full or flavor. Always get the order correct. You know it's good when the pick up window is 12 cars deep!

They really have everything from sushi to habachi to frog legs. The sushi is your typical buffet sushi, it's palatable, but if you want sushi you need to go to a proper Japanese restaurant. I base all of my Chinese restaurant reviews on their crab rangoon and they get a 4 out 5. (There is only one that holds the 5 star crab rangoon title, so 4 out of 5 is good in my book).

It tasted like it was old the smell was off and temperature cold. We've never seen the hibachi station open, but this was the worst the buffet had been. On top of that the server on our most recent visit stood over our shoulders pointing to the tip line item asking for the largest possible tip and WOULD NOT LEAVE our table as we finished dinner and were signing the check. She was watching pointing for more and more tip pointing to the bill and going as far as patting our shoulders awkwardly asking for more money more money. It felt very inappropriate and we wondered if they did this to everyone or were singling us out for money. The physical touching was too much. Not a place we want to return to. Several of us woke up sick the next morning after eating here and I've never had a server demand +++% tips as loudly and uncomfortably as this last experience. Would suggest a family night out elsewhere.

It's time to write an update for this restaurant and the take out food that we buy. This is the…read moresecond time (out of the last two purchases, about six months apart) that our order has been filled incorrectly. So I'm taking off one star just for the disappointment that happens when you get home with something other than you are expecting. Last time our hot & sour soup order was "Happy Family Soup" which my husband couldn't eat at all because of the assortment of meats and fish. This time our order of Pork Lo Mein was filled with Pork Mei Fun. The rice noodles had ZERO SAUCE OR FLAVOR. if I'm intending on ordering Mei Fun I always order Singapore Mei Fun with the delicious curry seasoning. The second star is removed because the Hot & Sour soup was beyond HOT! I really like spicey food as does my husband but this soup deadened my taste buds towards food eaten at a separate meal on a separate day. It was SO HOT that the broth of the soup was an orangey red. Every spoonful had at least three or four visible chunks of red pepper. The bottom of the bowl was a collection of ground black pepper, white pepper, and chunks of red pepper skins. The first night we ate the soup it was HOT but tolerable because it was something we hadn't eaten for a while. The second night neither one of us wanted to finish the bowl because it was just TOO HOT! The third star taken off is for the quality of meat used in the General Tso's Chicken and the Mongolian Beef. The chicken was large, hard, stringy pieces of chicken that you could neither cut with a steak knife or chew. The sauce was obviously made by their cook that likes heat. It was orange not brown because of the number of red peppers. The whole large order only had two pieces total of broccoli. As for the Mongolian Beef it was thick chewy chunks of beef like what should have been used as stew meat so it would become tender. Once again it was unchewable and not worth struggling with a sharp knife. There was little sauce or onions with the Mongolian beef so it was a bust! My husband would like me to take off a fourth star because what we planned would be a third night of dinners is going in the garbage. We are dumping one quart of hot & sour soup, 2/3 an order of Mongolian Beef, 2/3 of an order of General Tso's Chicken, 2/3 of the Mei Fun that we had hoped would be our Pork Lo Mein, and three small containers of rice. WHAT A WASTE! That's money down the drain. I on the other hand am giving the star because the Egg Foo Yung on the first night was delicious. I'm being generous giving this restaurant two stars because we maybe didn't like the food but at least we didn't get sick like some reviewers have written in their reviews. All that to say this was one of the best dishes of chicken rice I've ever had. While I didn't realize that it's a portion for the table, I made every effort to eat it all and was left happily defeated. Now back in the hotel, I'm lying recumbent as I nurse a food baby and am grateful to have leftovers sitting in the fridge, for either a midnight snack or savory start to my Sunday. The food came out relatively quickly. The place was extremely clean and well-lit, and the young lady who took my order was extremely professional and cheerful. Overall, I would give this my strongest recommendation and will make a point to return even if doing so would require its own trip or a significant detour from another route. Great stuff!!!

The chicken had just the right amount of spice where you noticed it but it didn't overpower the food. A co-worker had the Pad Thai and it looked delicious as well. There is an extensive menu and if I lived near there I'd be trying something different on a regular basis. As for the ambiance, it's a small little restaurant in a strip mall where you will overlook it if you don't know what you're looking for. Not much parking but it wasn't overly busy either. Nothing fancy here but it was clean and with how good the food is, it doesn't need to be fancy. The service was what you would expect. The waitress checked on us regularly and was friendly.

Okay so I have been here a handful of times and have usually had a decent experience. I am rating…read morethis based on my experience yesterday on Christmas Day. I understand that restaurants are busy on Christmas especially because so few of them are open. I really wanted to enjoy my Christmas dinner. It was terrible. Dragon City is one of the only Chinese restaurants in Lexington that offers sesame seed balls as an appetizer and for one of my kids, that's just about the only thing she will eat so we chose to order from this place. We placed our order at 6:35 and drove over there and got there around seven. It was very busy so what we drove around for a little while before we stopped in to make payment and then wait for our food. It is very apparent that Uber and DoorDash orders are more important than the people who are waiting for orders that they actually placed in person or on the phone. Again, I understand that it's going to be busier on Christmas. There was a very high demand. I paid for my food about 30 minutes after I ordered it and then I proceeded to wait for an additional 40 minutes before I ever received my food so I waited a good hour and a half for one entrée, one noodle dish and three appetizers. They did not listen to the requests for the the dishes that we ordered, all the appetizers were very overcooked. It was, to be honest, a waste of $40 and most of the food went into the trash. It was very disappointing and I really hate to tear a business down. I really hate to leave a negative review, but based on this experience, we will never return to Dragon city and we will just continue to go to places like happy China, which we know are really good. I felt bad like I could tell that the staff were genuinely just so busy and trying to get orders out but again the priority on pushing Uber orders and DoorDash orders ahead of people who were in the store ordering or who had ordered online or who had called in to order is appalling to me. That's showing that one type of customer is more important than the other type, I just think that that shouldn't be the case. Orders should be made in the order in which they are received whether they are for takeout or delivery or walk in whatever it is. Don't waste your money here. It's not worth it, busy or not.
