Would definitely not recommend unless you desire very VERY over seasoned food unless you don't then not recommend. Very expensive for only one meal and then one side very expensive but whatever. Service was sweet and friendly would recommend service, TABLES WE NOT CLEAN!!.. very sticky I hated it idfk what was even on the damn table it just was and I had to watch two people clean their tables off like come on.. animals shouldn't be allowed here (not including service dogs!) yeah bring your cat dog whatever in and they won't pick up animal hair AT ALL I walked in and there was a wild cat inside eating and ran off like come on I come here TO EAT not watch animals eat outta the trash. Yang's is awesome Chinese takeout. When I moved to Kentucky I was bummed at the lack of Chinese food. I won't say Yang's is super authentic, but it's a lot more like what I'm used to than other places I've tried, so it hits the spot when I want some americanized Chinese food. We have had food from here many times. It was notably less flavorful, greasy, and overcooked than previous takeouts. Assume the kitchen staff has changed. I'd give this a 2.5 star but that isn't an option so I rounded up. The pupu/appetizer platter was so poor I would never order it here again. Skewers overcooked and dry. The wontons were overcooked and dry. The eggrolls contained very little filling. The seafood soup barely contains any seafood and has less flavor. The egg foo young was greasy. The sauce had separated in less than 10 min from pickup to home. The hot and sour soup was bland. The chicken fried rice was average. Very disappointed. read more

For years my family relied on Yang Garden for their regular Chinese food fix! It was always good then (25 years ago) and still remains the best in central KY today. Born and raised in NY, I have eaten a lot of authentic Chinese food over the years. The dishes at Yang Garden are authentic, fresh and as good as it gets! In recent years my job has kept me in Lexington and surrounding counties so I have sampled a number of Chinese food restaurants. None can compare to the quality ingredients and fresh taste at Yang Garden! Tonight I ordered Chicken Chow Mein as a combo dish which included rice (I asked for the white over the pork fried rice which comes with the combo) along with a vegetable egg roll and some almond cookies for dessert. All fresh. All delicious. The all white meat chicken was tender, the celery bright and cooked just perfect (firm yet tender) and the onion freshly chopped. I tried it last night out of the blue and it was delicious. I got the general so's chicken combo and I was not disappointed. First time trying Yang Garden. Saw the sign off the beaten path and thought to call for what ingredients used for egg foo young. So many Chinese Restaurants use Bean Sprouts which I hate. Luckily the nice woman at Yang Garden said they use good ol Bok Choy...winning! Called in shrimp egg foo young, pork egg roll and order of crab rangoons. Everything was hot & fresh in only 15 mins!!! Couldn't believe how many crab rangoons (10) I got for only $3!? The egg foo young was thick, well cooked with juicy, large sized shrimp (not the small salad sized shrimp at a neighboring restaurant). Sooo good! I'll definitely be back!! read more

This is a cute little Chinese restaurant. The staff is always friendly and the food is pretty good. I like that they have a "Special Diet" section on the menu where you can get certain items with no added salt, sauces on the side etc. Service is usually quick and the restaurant is not that busy around 11:00/11:30. This place has improved and has fresh, clean tasting food. I like the Kung Pao Chicken and my husband likes the General Tso's Chicken. They will adjust the spices to your liking, and I like my food spicy hot. The crab rangoons and veggie eggrolls are also quite good. The hot and sour soup is not as good as the Wok N Go's IMO, but all in all it's proven to be a good place for Chinese carry out when in Versailles. It is small, so carry out is best. read more

I hate to say it but they are going down hill fast! With the closing of the China buffet here in Versailles one would think that they would maintain the good food they had! As some others have posted recently, the rice was UNDER-COOKED to a point of being crunchy! The general tso was not spicy and the curry chicken was full of vegetables and little chicken! This was the worst takeout I think I had ever eaten. I got three dinners: sesame chicken which was floating in water, general tso's chicken and chicken and broccoli for the kids. I had water chestnuts added that I'm pretty sure weren't even cooked. I'm pretty sure the chicken wasn't even chicken. It was slimy and starchy. And not to mention soaked. I had no idea what I had until I had opened the packages when I got home. If I had lived in versailles I would have taken it back.
