How many times I've passed Paradise Cafe, and thought I should try it. I was in Paris today and went for lunch. Looked like locals having Sunday lunch. Very friendly proprietor. I ordered the Singapore Noodles. Very good, with plenty of shrimp and just enough spice. Take a ride out to Paris and check-it-out. 115

My boyfriend and I were in town for a concert and stopped in to eat and the food was absolutely amazing! Our service was great, the whole vibe of the restaurant is stunning everything we had was lovely and we will definitely be stopping in again if we are in town! We got the lovers platter to share and tried a cup of the egg flower and wonton soup and entrees were fantastic as well!

My husband surprised me with lunch date here! We both were highly impressed. Not only is the food delicious the sweet man who made the food, took awesome care of us! He made sure he was providing the best experience for us! If you are looking for a 5 star experience I'd go here! We will definitely be back! Another huge plus was the reasonable prices! I 10/10 recommend!!!

This was our 2nd trip here, Everything was fresh & very good & made to order. My wife was very impressed & she isn't a big fan Chinese buffets . Portions size was good & place is very clean. Didn't realize it was a B&B too??

Great service. Good food. Lovely atmosphere. Nice change from the million mexican restaurants this town has to offer. Thx to the kind owner, Lee, for an enjoyable and memorable dinner with friends.

So I have been on this journey to explore and understand Vietnamese food. It has been a long slow journey but one that in recent weeks has accelerated. I have spent the last several weekends in Paris working. About 3 weeks ago I was traveling home dog tired when I noticed this sign that I have never noticed before. AJ Paradis. But what really caught my eye was the three letters PHO. So I turn left on Main and Park and dash in to order some carryout. Since that first visit a few weeks ago I have been there often. There is a sign in the store that says Lee's Famous Egg Rolls. At least that is what I recall. The egg rolls are delicious. I had some saved in the refrigerator and my wife raided the fridge and eat them up. Big hit with the wife. Now back to my journey to understanding PHO. First time eating carry out here I was starved so when I got home I had the soup and all of these little containers of stuff. Saw some red sauce dumped it all in, saw some hoisin sauce left it out as I did with the lime. Took a spoonful and it lit me up. Now the thing about PHO as I now understand better is you can create your own experience. Now my perfect PHO is a half teaspoon of hoisin sause, I dip the tongs of a fork into the red sauce, the lime is the best so it is necessary and I do not put all of cilantro into the soup and voila the perfect bowl of PHO. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff is fast, efficient and friendly. The food is enjoyable and now I better know how to manage all the tiny containers that they provide. While traveling through Paris Kentucky give these folks a call. Apparently the business has been here for 20 years. However that sign I never notice is New. Kudos to whoever decided to upgrade the sign. Without it I could have easily driven past it another 20 years. Stop by. I am sure you will be glad you did.

Best Pad Thai I have e v e r eaten. First time travel to Paris, KY because of business and was told that there was not a single good place to eat there so I drove downtown and found Paradise Cafe. From the outside it looks nice and the from the inside even nicer. Place was empty but it was 3pm and I actually prefer a quiet place to eat. Greeted by a very nice, humble and quiet gentleman and ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. The kitchen is right there so I began to hear the food getting prepared by him and it smelled very good. The plate arrives and to my surprise it's beautifully plated! Of course I had to take a pic :) Upon first bite I was immediately aware that this was the BEST freakin' Pad Thai I have ever enjoyed! Nothing else to say but try it. Thank me later.

Finding a neon pho sign in Paris KY produced a delightful meal presentation.

Fresh and tasty. I'll be craving until we return. It's worth the 90 minute drive from Danville.

Good Vietnamese with a really nice owner. The bun was tasty, not the best I've ever had, but very reasonable especially for Kentucky.

Okay so I have been here a handful of times and have usually had a decent experience. I am rating…read morethis based on my experience yesterday on Christmas Day. I understand that restaurants are busy on Christmas especially because so few of them are open. I really wanted to enjoy my Christmas dinner. It was terrible. Dragon City is one of the only Chinese restaurants in Lexington that offers sesame seed balls as an appetizer and for one of my kids, that's just about the only thing she will eat so we chose to order from this place. We placed our order at 6:35 and drove over there and got there around seven. It was very busy so what we drove around for a little while before we stopped in to make payment and then wait for our food. It is very apparent that Uber and DoorDash orders are more important than the people who are waiting for orders that they actually placed in person or on the phone. Again, I understand that it's going to be busier on Christmas. There was a very high demand. I paid for my food about 30 minutes after I ordered it and then I proceeded to wait for an additional 40 minutes before I ever received my food so I waited a good hour and a half for one entrée, one noodle dish and three appetizers. They did not listen to the requests for the the dishes that we ordered, all the appetizers were very overcooked. It was, to be honest, a waste of $40 and most of the food went into the trash. It was very disappointing and I really hate to tear a business down. I really hate to leave a negative review, but based on this experience, we will never return to Dragon city and we will just continue to go to places like happy China, which we know are really good. I felt bad like I could tell that the staff were genuinely just so busy and trying to get orders out but again the priority on pushing Uber orders and DoorDash orders ahead of people who were in the store ordering or who had ordered online or who had called in to order is appalling to me. That's showing that one type of customer is more important than the other type, I just think that that shouldn't be the case. Orders should be made in the order in which they are received whether they are for takeout or delivery or walk in whatever it is. Don't waste your money here. It's not worth it, busy or not.

I hope they take this as an opportunity to improve. I recently tried the new poke bowl on the menu. I was VERY excited when I saw a sign that they offer poke bowls, but a bit disappointed when they did not have all the standard poke bowl toppings. No seaweed salad, pickled carrots, etc. The poke bowl was $15 - and while the flavor was good it lacked the full experience and was way too small for the price. The poke bowl place in Lexington serves a large size for only $13 and it's at least double this size, maybe triple the size. I desperately want Koi Express to offer the same style bowl as Miyako for a reasonable price. I would pay $15 happily if it was enough to fill me up and had all the topping choices. So please keep serving poke bowls - just make them a bit bigger and provide the toppings. I can't justify paying $15 for the version that is currently offered. You also need a different style bowl to serve these in - not practical for mixing. I'll be trying the ramen soon.
