This is a no-frills establishment where you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. I ordered some soup, and it was pretty bland- chicken, veggies, noodles, and broth, with no real seasoning. The egg rolls and lo mein were delicious, though. Nothing fancy, but we would come here again if we wanted Chinese food. read more

Charlie and his crew do an exceptional job in the kitchen, in the food is amazing. 95% of the time we order to go, but even after we get it home, it's still hot and tasty. The wonton soup is awesome and most of the entrées that I have tried are all good. read more

My daughter revoked this place. Ended up getting General Tsos, Mongolian beef, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and chicken soup. It's only curbside. And they only take cash. NO! Advertised as " Chinese" but they serve something that is supposed to reflect Chinese fare however they come up way short. I don't know what to call it but it's not Chinese. I have to wonder of its Asian at all. I actually believe their cuisine has been Americanized to accommodate the regionally preferred bland foods. Food is served on plastic plates with plastic flatware. You drink from styrofoam cups and the you have to ask for soy sauce. Not worth the trouble to stop. read more

Last night was the first time I had tried Wok N Go. I walked in to grab some take out before work and the guy at the counter was very welcoming! He explained the menu to me - they have all kinds of anytime specials where you can get individual meals that have the main entree, rice and egg roll for 8.00 or less..very affordable. You can also order the larger portions if you want to have left overs or have enough for the family. I actually tried this place because I was looking for a certain Chinese dish that many place do not serve- Hon Su Gui...they have it and it was awesome! I also ordered the egg drop soup ..I usually stay away from it at most Chinese places because it is bright yellow and the egg pieces in it are huge and just not good. This is the best I've had ,it's not over powering and the egg pieces are small, giving it a great texture! I will be going back soon and recommending it to my friends! read more

The owners are so nice! They were sweet to help with all my vegetarian concerns and questions. Veggie Spring rolls available inside of egg rolls, with pork. the specials are great, you get nice portion with rice (steamed or soy sauce fried) and some spring or egg rolls. In lieu of Arby's across the street it was a great choice for me. The veggies were super fresh. We made a few trips here on my last trip to KY. My mom really enjoyed her cashew chicken and broccoli shrimp, I loved the rice noodle (vegetarian)... my dad went ga ga over the sweet and sour chicken (sauce came on the side, he was very pleased) and the Crab Rangoon which were devoured on site. One friend brings his own tofu! So please note, no tofu here, but you can bring your own... this is Versailles after all. Thanks for the great eats! read more

Every time I come home for the holidays I have to stop here. Charlie is the man. It's now what seems to be the only Chinese restaurant now that I can get Hong Su Gai, one of, if not my favorite dish of all time. I'll be back in December. I know it's only Wok 'N Go, but I like it! This is not the worst Chinese food I've eaten, but not the best. I would describe it as average at best. I got chicken egg fu yung, and it was very different from any other that I've had. The gravy was very thick and light brown instead of the normal dark, flavorful sauce. Also, their chow mein is made from prepackaged crispy noodles --the kind often served with soup--instead of pan fried crispy noodles. Perhaps the most annoying part of the experience is that they only take cash or local checks, meaning NO cards of any kind. We will probably be sticking with the other Chinese place in town. read more

I looked at some of the reviews and they were semi ok, but I should have listened to the one stars. I ordered takeout, it was the only option (curbside only). I got the sweet and sour chicken - it was terrible! It was coated and fried in dough and the sauce was on the side. My friend got the chicken chop suey. Again, it was boiled and awful - had no flavor whatsoever. The rice (brown) seemed microwaved and old. I wanted to try a new teriyaki place but this is not it. Do not recommend. read more

Since Frankfort has NO good Chinese restaurants, I ventured to Versailles and was happy I did. Wok N Go was delicious, FAST and FRESH!! Seriously! My first impression was heightened when I saw the parking lot PACKED (..a good sign for a Mon night!) with people picking up called in orders. Upon entering I was welcomed by a young man that politely highlighted the ENTIRE menu when I announced I was a 1st timer. He helped me to custom order a Hunan Combination entree, and a Shrimp Egg Foo Young special (only $5!!) that came with rice & an egg roll... awesome to see typical lunch specials served all day. I was pleasantly surprised it only took 15 mins for two made to order meals! The Hunan Combo had shrimp, beef, chicken and a plethora of julienned veggies...all for only $8.50. Before driving home I couldn't help to snag a bite in the parking lot. Everything was pipping hot and flavorful. Only reason gave 4/5 stars because I like Egg Foo Young made with Bok Choy rather bean sprouts. Also I asked that the Hunan dish to be level 5 hot, but it wasn't spicy at all. No worries...I'll most definitely be back! read more

My only real complaints are the hours(the menu states m-f 11a-9:30p, sat 4p-9:30p, sun 2p-9p), but now they don't open until 4 on sunday either? All in all the food is great with plenty of options. t read more

We have two Chinese restaurants here in Versailles and I love them both for different reasons. Wok n Go is a great local owned fast food restaurant. Service is always great and food is made to order and ready in a timely fashion. Get the crab Rangoon! read more

The fried rice is so good, I love the bean sprouts, it gives it a unique texture that a lot of Chinese places in the area don't have. The pan fried chicken is delicious, even though it doesn't really taste like traditional Chinese food. The one major down side to this restaurant is that they do not take credit or debit cards. Cash or check only. You would think in this day and age where even yard sales have square card readers that a local restaurant would figure that out. The decor of this place is also very outdated. Still, the food and the service make it worth stopping at the ATM every once in a while. read more

There used to be a Wok 'n Go close to UK. It was my first experience with Chinese take out and I loved it. Recently, I decided to give Wok 'n Go in Versailles a try. I was disappointed. The chicken and egg roll were overdone and had a slightly bitter, burnt taste. It was almost closing time, so maybe that was a factor. I was only there for take out, but the restaurant itself looked like a nice place to dine in, and the staff was friendly. It wasn't terrible, but I probably won't be back. read more

I've been going to Wok N Go since the 1980s. It's not a buffet, but a carry out or eat in. Their "Special Anytime" menu is a good value, and I like their Mandarin Chicken which is basically Kung Pao Chicken. It's not gourmet, but it hits the spot for carry out Chinese and the prices are very reasonable. I've never had a bad meal there and if you like it hot you can ask them to spice it up. read more

Amazing. Simply amazing. I came from Chicago where there's a wide variety of Chinese restaurants. This, this, is a treat. We ordered and shared chicken lo mein, egg rolls, crab rangoons, egg foo young, and wontons. Service is fantastic. My only complaint is they only take cash or checks, the good part though is there's an ATM within a 30 second walking distance. But honestly it's so well worth it. We stayed to eat and the staff is so friendly and we all talked and laughed. One of the best lunch experiences I've had in KY so far. Keep up the great work guys!! read more

Call ahead and pick up. This good is really good and the portions are great. You should have leftovers for tomorrow. Consider getting both the fried and white rice. They were willing to make me something not on the menu so don't be afraid to ask. Affordable and fast for any family budget. read more
