Haven't had Panda in over 8 months. We're so happy to finally see one. We all ordered our food but they ran out of orange chicken when it got to me. They ladybsaid she would bring it to us when they got more, I said ok and thought to myself....Great now everyone will be waiting for me. I paid, got the trays and cup, got everyone's data down and went to fill my drink. As I was about to sit down with my drink the lady came over with my orange chicken and I thought....dang, that was fast. We all really enjoyed our food and can't wait to eat here again. The staff was great, the place was clean and the restrooms were clean also.

Sweet Fire Chicken to go
Kriss W.

I now only have 30 minutes for lunch so I am looking for a place I can buzz through quickly and eat in front of my computer. So today I decided to venture out and try the new Panda Express by my office. I must say I did not really understand the menu when I looked at it on my phone, but the order board at the drive through made lots of sense. Entree and sides are a little different than the mom and pop Asian places, I was a bit dubious because I really like those places. I decided to try the Sweet Fire Chicken Breast bowl with white rice and I was not disappointed. Chicken was cooked well and not chewy...woot! The sweet and hot sauce was spicy and sweet and the pineapple added just little bit of acid that pulled the onions and peppers together. I will try this again. The drive thru was easy to navigate, and the menu was easy to read. I got a free entree for next time by filling out a survey! I had a bowl which comes with one side you can split, I had the white rice that was perfectly cooked! (I will ask for extra soy sauce next time...only one packet.) I was back at my office in 20 minutes! I asked for a paper menu so I can be ready on my next trip....must try the egg rolls and spring rolls in the future!

They left the bottom of the onion, middle of the onion, and skin of the onion.

Usually I start off talking about ambiance and service but my god the food here was EXCELLENT!! I…read morepersonally had the Jalapeño Chicken and BBQ Pork Buns and both dishes were delightful. The chicken had just the right amount of spice where you noticed it but it didn't overpower the food. A co-worker had the Pad Thai and it looked delicious as well. There is an extensive menu and if I lived near there I'd be trying something different on a regular basis. As for the ambiance, it's a small little restaurant in a strip mall where you will overlook it if you don't know what you're looking for. Not much parking but it wasn't overly busy either. Nothing fancy here but it was clean and with how good the food is, it doesn't need to be fancy. The service was what you would expect. The waitress checked on us regularly and was friendly.

I ordered the Scallion and Garlic Chicken. This type of dish is one of my favorites, so I like to…read morethink of myself as something of an expert or at least semi-pro. All that to say this was one of the best dishes of chicken rice I've ever had. While I didn't realize that it's a portion for the table, I made every effort to eat it all and was left happily defeated. Now back in the hotel, I'm lying recumbent as I nurse a food baby and am grateful to have leftovers sitting in the fridge, for either a midnight snack or savory start to my Sunday. The food came out relatively quickly. The place was extremely clean and well-lit, and the young lady who took my order was extremely professional and cheerful. Overall, I would give this my strongest recommendation and will make a point to return even if doing so would require its own trip or a significant detour from another route. Great stuff!!!

The lady working the counter and cooking is a nice older lady and we usually talk about the weather. The store has a picture of an elk in front of an American flag and it always gets a chuckle from me. Store ambiance is that of a neighborhood Chinese place and that's a bit comforting for me.

It does not look like much and is definitely not on the better side of town. The place offers a…read morevery American Chinese menu, but it was pretty long on the vegetable and tofu side compared to a lot of cheap Chinese joints, which is what inspired me to give them a try. And their Kung Pao tofu delivered all that I could have hoped of it. A packed full container of finely cubed fried tofu (one hack for anyone that doesn't know how to make tofu taste good: you should probably cut it smaller to give it more surface area to absorb whatever sauce you're cooking it in) as well as some diced carrots, baby corn, and quite a lot of peanuts in a brown sauce with just a bit of spice. I also got some sesame noodles, which is one of the more basic versions of the dish I've had, which is basically just noodles with a dollop of spiced peanut butter to spread around and coat them with. This probably sounds like a dig, but it's pretty satisfying and the noodles themselves had a nice soft texture. It was, as I would expect, a ton of food for the money. Basically the whole interior of this little building was devoted to what looked like a clean and organized kitchen. Fancy? Authentic? No, but American Chinese cuisine is a subculture of its own, and this seems a good example of it. I definitely think it would be worth returning to try their other tofu dishes.

I'm sitting there eating, and of course, it has very dim lighting, next thing I know, crawling up the wall next to me comes Mr. cockroach. I can't go back. I just can't. All I can think about now is that under that dark table there are roaches crawling around on my feet, up my leg, and down the wall. I was terrified they were crawling into my purse.

I ended up ordering a few appetizers. The Hot & Sour Soup was the standout... flavorful, comforting, and easily a 5/5 on a cold n wet day. Unfortunately, the rest didn't quite hit the mark. The shrimp rolls were below average... mostly lettuce, the shrimps were dried out, and they took about 10 extra minutes to come out. The crab rangoon was the biggest disappointment; the filling had an unpleasant smell and tasted like heavy, clotted cream cheese and there wasn't even an iota of imitation crab meat to justify that name. My friends ordered egg rolls, which actually looked pretty good (I'd say a solid 4/5), and Singapore noodles, which unfortunately looked underwhelming. Overall, there are a few bright spots, especially the soup, but the food quality and atmosphere were inconsistent. With some updates and more attention to freshness and flavor, this place could really improve.
