    Pork Adobo Plate
    Emily K.

The food was not bad overall, especially the pork adobo. It was tender, flavorful, and nicely seasoned. The Pork Lumpia was pretty good too and we liked the peanut sauce on the house salad as well. However, the rice on every dish that we ordered was a bit too al dente for our taste, which made it less enjoyable overall. If the rice had been cooked a little softer, the plate would have been much better.

Sunday brunch with my friends was great here! We tried the Brussels sprouts - lumpia and chicken bites to start - all delicious!! Great spread for appetizers The chef also let us try a pandan French toast as a sample for the menu - so freaking good!! Also tried the pork skewers (my favorite - so Smokey!!) and the garlic chicken - so flavorful and perfectly fried The rice and mac salad come with the entrees as sides! There is plenty of seating indoors and a nice patio too! Service was great, our server was helpful and quick! Parking is a little tricky - street parking is usually easiest

Super cute Filipino fusion pub style restaurant on 37th street. This is a great time of year to dine here as you can also experience the beautiful Christmas lights on 37th street. I made a reservation for 6pm but they only had outdoor seating available, so we opted to sit at the bar. We ordered the Ube mocktail and a spiced Mexican hot chocolate for drinks, both of which were fantastic. For food we ordered the lumpia starter to share, a pork adobo plate, and a garlic chicken plate. Plates are served with jasmine rice and mac salad sides. Lumpia - 10/10 so so good! Pork & Chicken plates - 7/10, not bad but not great. Docking a star for how long the food took to arrive. We waited for over an hour to receive our meal. The staff was apologetic and comped our drinks to make up for it, which was kind of them. Solid spot but they do need to figure out how to better meet staffing and service needs.

October 8th - Google maps made finding Oribello's slight challenging or maybe it was just me. The restaurant and staff were absolutely amazing. The dishes on the website looked so delicious that it made me want to try everything so I did. Went back the other day and their pizza oven was down. This was one of the better pizza in town. The restaurant is revamping the menu and will be serving ramen among other things. The Ube treats are amazing! I will be heading back soon to see what changes are being made. Love this place!

We ended up there for beer and a bite, but the server suggested us to try their cocktails, and those definitely stole the show. The ambiance is great, the food is decent, but those cocktails are seriously delicious. The peperoni pizza was good and the loco moco fries were good too.

The staff was excellent !! I ube tres leche was very sweet with a rich ube violet sauce . The son of the gun was super Smokey and zesty . Sakura Segura was wonderful it was full body cocktail. I ordered the Brussels sprouts sweet and tangy with a crispiness the way I love them . I really enjoy this happy hour very casual and low key . With not your run of the mill flavors . Lumpia were rich and meaty served with a nice sweet chili sauce . A cool bar with nice and friendly vibes . A great way to spend the afternoon .

If you're looking for flavorful food, good drinks and even better vibes -- check this place out! My bf surprised me with a visit to celebrate my dad's (who was Filipino) first Heavenly Birthday and our visit was the perfect end to the a tough day. We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. The place is beautiful with large windows, aesthetic light fixtures and also nice patio set up. Bonus points for also being clean!! Here's a few of my recommendations... DRINKS * Ube Colada - This is a must try!! The Ube mix is sweet but not overpowering or too "earthy". Great drink to enjoy on their patio or even for dessert! * Ube Gin & Tonic - Refreshing and a great option if you love a twist on the traditional G&T. The ube adds a little sweetness but again, not too overpowering. * Banana Old Fashion - Strong, smooth and perfect for fall! Loved the hint of banana. FOOD * Pork Lumpia - Made me smile on the first bite! No unnecessary twist on such a classic snack. Must try app if you're new to Filipino food. * Pork Adobo Bowl - Try it with the garlic rice! The pork is tender and packed with flavor. * Wings - Lemon pepper! Fresh, hot and crispy. They were out of the adobo wings so we'll definitely try those next time. Overall, this is a spot where you should try a little bit of everything! We were happy with every dish we tried. Food came out quick and hot. The staff is very friendly, attentive and fun! Check out one of their Trivia or Karaoke nights -- we had a blast with trivia and ended up in 2nd place. If you've been on the hunt for a Filipino spot in ATX, check out Oribello's!

Checked this place out as it's been having all the buzz. Its feels quite small inside with some bar seating but also has outside with a screen to watch football. we tried the ube tres leches which was good/ unique concept but I dont think it's mindblowing. The cocktails flavors were inventive- Asian inspired. The ube colada was very icy and thick in the beginning and took a while to melt, I couldn't finish it all. We didnt try any hot food so not sure how those taste. The highlight of this place is the super friendly staffs. They are welcoming and helpful, we really appreciate their service :)

I thought this was pretty good! The ambience of the space was nice and the service was good as well. I ordered the specialty fries and the crunchy garlic chicken. The fries were the best-- very tasty and the meat was well seasoned. The crunchy garlic chicken came with rice and Mac salad. The salad was little flavorless and the chicken was kind of room temperature but was still good. If looking for good Filipino food, this was a nice spot.

Came here for brunch, noticed you can either sit down or order at the bar. The table has a QR code that you can scan to order your food and drinks. Noticed that more than half of the items were sold out, which is interesting. Order Longsilog and Lumpia. Both were okay. The garlic rice didn't have enough garlic, as I didn't taste any garlic in it compared to other Filipino places I've been to. The rice also doesn't look like it was fried enough, as it still kind of has a wet side. The lumpia was okay; there was another eat-to-wrapper ratio, and the sauce was okay, slightly different from your normal sauce. Service was okay. I don't know if they were having a bad day, but they were running around trying to figure out who is missing food or figuring out who the food belongs to. The place is a small restaurant with a decent-sized outdoor patio. There are a few tables inside and a bar.

SERVICE/AMBIANCE: Beautiful interior! Food comes out relatively quick. There is trivia on Wednesdays! There is a small parking lot, but you may need to park on the street FOOD: The food is very reasonably priced! We got the adobo wings as an appetizer and they were flavorful and crispy. I got the soy garlic chicken bowl for $12 and it was very delicious! We also ordered the birria pizza for around $23 which was fantastic! The Ube tres leches for dessert was honestly just okay - I was expecting it to be a bit more flavorful.

    Michael L.

Maybe we came on an off night given all the positive reviews. Happy hour seemed like a great deal but the pizza texture was off, and was neither crispy, chewy, or soft. Service was friendly enough but not particularly attentive. Interior was dark. Restrooms are clean.

My husband and I decided to try Oribello's Bar & Kitchen when in the area. We parked in a small lot next to the restaurant. We walked in and were greeted by the person working. He was great, very friendly. We sat down and he instructed us to use the QR code to look at the menu and place our order. It was really easy to do. After placing our order we waited. After getting our small bites he offered us a shot of a drink to try. I accepted but requested it be non alcoholic. He said he could do that and brought it to us. Not long after he brought us the rest of our food. The Food To start we ordered The Katsu Chicken Sando which is a crispy chicken tender sandwich that is covered in a sauce with a slaw. It came with a side of fries. I thought that this sandwich was really good. The sauce it was covered in gave it a sweet flavor and the slaw gave it texture. It was yummy. The fries were good. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also tried the Birria Poutine which is fries with Birria meat, gravy, a cream sauce, and fresh mozzarella chunks. These fries had a lot of flavor due to the cream sauce and gravy that was used. The Birria meat was good but I think it needed a little more meat than what we got but it was good. My husband liked that the mozzarella chunks were at the bottom. It was a good combination of ingredients. Lastly we tried the Hawaiian Pizza which comes with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, ham, and pineapple. It was a huge pizza. It was tasty. The pizza itself was thin and the tomato sauce was very good. The ham was semi salty but good, and the pineapple chunks were spread around. I wish there was more pineapple on the pizza but that's just my preference. I think next time I will add extra. The crust was was thick but airy. The pizza was really good. As an extra we got to try a shot of the Purple Ube Colada without alcohol. It was so good! I recommend trying it. Overall it was a great lunch. The ordering process was really easy, the service was really good, and the food was delicious. We will probably return in the future.

Thank heaven for PointsBet Sports Bar! PointsBet Austin is located inside of Q2 stadium on the north end near the Zebra Gate, up some stairs just to your right as you enter the gate. They have cold air-conditioning, at least one phone recharging station, a few table games, seating for at least 50 people, and standing room for a couple hundred others. Plus, there's a huge horseshoe bar serving plenty of canned and mixed beverages. The whole north wall is floor-to-ceiling windows, providing plenty of natural light. Lastly, there are 18 flatscreens around the walls showing various sporting events and during our concert, a couple were streaming a live view of the concert stage. As expected, prices were "high" (like everything else in Austin these days), but they were in line with pricing available at the other beverage stands outside in the stadium, so we didn't pay any more than we would have out there for the same drink. According to their website, PointsBet opens 3 hours before soccer matches on regular Q2 game days, and it's one of the few air-conditioned places where non-VIP attendees can get a break from the goings-on outside.

Moss didn't start growing on me but the food took just long enough to arrive to be noticably long- especially when the orders were basic garden salads, wings, and a burger, when the restaurant was at about 55% occupied tables. Our burger also cooled considerably while we waiting for a knife to brought to us. Maybe service is slower at the outdoor space. However, the covered patio here has cute walls such as a 'grammable "i love wings so much" in the style of the popular "i love you so much" wall art off South Congress, and faux grass floor for perennial spring picnic vibes. It's also not as cacophonous as the inside of want to have normal level conversations. Game watching experience is ok. The poorly hung four screen wall at the far end gives a bit of a distorted view. If you're here to watch a particular event, choose your seats carefully. Our food was solid.I love that they have Sriracha ketchup. My side garden salad was basically a full size portion. We ordered "real" food for the kids as their kids menu was the basic American standard of unhealthies of the grilled cheese/corn dog/chicken tenders ilk. Why can't restaurants just make kid portions of everything, instead of a kids menu that makes kids think those are the only things they should be eating? That's grooming for an unhealthy future yes? Speaking of unhealthy future the doggie bag containers are styrofoam. Yipes. Service was fair. Our server was was great. When we asked someone else for a knife it took 15+ minutes. Three stalls in the Chicks room with a faucet that's too close to the sink wall, which makes it awkward for hand washing. I always think of the staff. Overall an elevated wings/sports bar spot good for groups of all sizes and vibes by UT.

Since we ordered basically one of everything - here are our recommendations. Appetizers GET THIS: 1. Corn dog shrimp (think shrimp tempura) - light, flavorful, crunchy YUM 2. Cathead biscuits NOT THAT: 1. Street corn queso dip not a favorite for our table. The cheese tasted thick and plastic like... Velveeta vibes... not much flavor Meals GET THIS: 1. Hangar Steak 2. Creole shrimp & grits 3. Chicken fried steak Not that: 1. Horseradish crusted salmon - I didn't try it but the two people who ordered at our table were disappointed and wished they would've gotten one of the above Desserts GET THIS: 1. Bread pudding was delicious! Not overly sweet & the added white chocolate gives it that dazzle dazzle 2. Chocolate Espresso Brownie - perfection NOT THAT: 1. Banana cream pudding. This was a no for the table because it was over the top sweet (I think because of the added butterscotch) 2. Peanut Butter Mousse Pie super super thick & sweet. Didn't taste much other than PB - it was like eating a giant spoonful of it and trying to swallow.

Friendly staff overall. The food fell flat for almost all of us. The salads were fresh and good. However, the ribs were below average. Cornbread was stale and not tasty. Biscuits tasted more like firm bread and not at all flaky/soft. That seemed weird to all of us. Chicken fried steak was soggy and not crispy. Drinks were ok. Not quite sure why the food was subpar, but there were 10 of us who all agreed we wouldn't return for food. There is a swanky little cozy speakeasy in the basement that may be good? We didn't try that.
