They're not too busy, and accept walk ins, so it is more convenient than other optical places. The employees were nice, but don't expect to get to browse glasses without major hovering and constant questions from them. For some, that might be great customer service, but for me it was too much. Since there are only a couple employees there at a time they're really personable, but somewhat slow--if somebody's working with them ahead of you it's not unreasonable to expect a looong wait. As far as the less good, you have the optometrist. My exam was fine, efficient even, but I tried to ask some more questions afterwards and he couldn't have been more awkward. He literally didn't even make eye contact and started walking out of his office while we were still talking to rush me out with short, non-descriptive answers and obvious discomfort. If it weren't for how helpful the employees were with pricing, I probably would've hated my visit overall since he was the worst doctor I've ever seen, but they were running a special half off lenses and frames if you paid without insurance and were so helpful to compare the cost with my insurance vs. with their deal and changing a lot of other variables as I made up my mind so that I could get the best price.

I was given a pair of contacts per my appointment but the doctor wanted to order another pair for me to try out before I bought a supply. I called them 3 weeks later wondering if they'd shown up and they were never ordered... Okay, it happens. A few weeks later, I go in to order a supply of contacts and I bring in my glasses to get new lenses. I was driving horses across country in a few months and needed to make sure my eyes were covered on all bases. They were an older pair of frames and knew they risked the chance of getting broken in the switch. Thinking I had plenty of time before my trip, it took them a MONTH to reach out and let me know my glasses, which were still at the lab were broken... a month to let me know that? OKAY... it happens. They said they were waiting to get them back from the lab to assess how to best help me. At this point, I jumped on a quick site and ordered a cheap pair of glasses to get me by. It was another 2 months before they called me and left a message that I got put on a pile of things that were forgotten about.... clearly. The procedure itself was about 10-15 minutes. It was absolutely painless, just felt some pressure. My eyes were very sensitive after the procedure (why naps are encouraged). I got home, took a 4 hour nap and when I woke up, the eye irritation was significantly less. Every passing day, my eyes are less dry and irritated. And my vision seems to get better and clearer. It's also the biggest chain and has multiple locations throughout the US, beating the competitors here in Utah. My Dr was Sally Thompson and she has a ton of experience. I encourage you to research your drs before going through with any surgery. I think Dr Thompson has over 50,000 successful lasik procedures completed. The staff was amazing and all very nice. The procedure itself only took like 15min. It is exactly 24hrs since I got the procedure done. I went to lasik plus today for my follow up appointment. My vision is already BETTER than 20/20, and once the haloing goes away due to the healing process, my vision will become even clearer. If I was given the choice to do it all over again or stay using glasses/contacts, I would do the procedure again without hesitation. And I would recommend that anyone get it done for themselves if they were candidates. I would absolutely send them to Lasik Plus.

I realized that they were with others (within 6 feet of us), but I've been recognized in busy places before. I waited for 10 minutes, and one of them even helped a new arrival 10 minutes later. We put a couple of pairs at the customer desk and sat down, and they still didn't acknowledge us. A "We'll be with you in 45 minutes" could have sufficed. At least then, we could have left sooner than after more than 30 minutes of wasting our time.

I had an appt at my usual eye doctor but had to reschedule they couldn't reschedule me for another…read moremonth so I was looking for a bunch of other optometrists in the area to see if anyone could get me in quicker, I came across lens crafters and they could get me in the next day, when I first got there we were greeted and the woman at the desk and the sales women who were there were also super friendly and helpful, they were able to get me back super quick and start my exam, after she did the usual eye measurements and the puff in the eye we sat to wait for the doctor and I don't think we were even waiting for more than 5 minutes, I was honestly expecting it to be a while cause everywhere else I've been including my usual Dr I literally wait for at least 30 min minimum so it was a pleasant surprise, the doctor was very informative, professional, and super nice, I had my exam for contacts and was able to try on a sample pair of the kind that i normally wear, they had them on hand and was able to leave with them in my eyes, that was also a surprise to me cause I've never been given a pair while I was there but I was so grateful for that cause I ran out weeks ago so I've been wearing glasses and was bummed that I was going to have to wear them for a few more weeks till I was able to order a new box but now I have a few weeks of a set till my other ones come. I honestly go to my other doctor cause they're in network with my insurance and cover 100% of my exam but with the experience I had today at lens crafters I will gladly pay out of pocket and get reimbursed by my insurance to have the quick and friendly service I had today :)
