They demanded insurance when I walked in, and I spent 50 minutes on the phone, looking it up to them before they finally informed me that they needed my health insurance instead of my vision. It took me five minutes to get my health insurance information when they inform me that it was too late and they were closing for the day so I had to go home and just hope I don't go blind. My first visit was thorough and he showed me all the pictures and what he was seeing. I had even been told that if my dry eyes did not get better lets do cataract surgery. I barely had the start of cataracts. They cleaned my eyes, advised how to manage and worked with my insurance to get me a prescription I needed at a reduced cost. Prescription was $750.00 through the manufacturer and they got it for me for 69.00 a month and only needed for a few months. They listened and only prescribed what was needed to help heal my eyes. I will never go anywhere else. Not sure where these other people went but i can say that the front desk is warm and welcoming and there are always several people to help you. I have never waited for more than 15 min.

We were repeatedly told it had been sent to Saratoga Springs, yet it was ultimately located at a Walgreens in Lehi that we have never visited. We had to call and track down pharmacies ourselves because the office refused to acknowledge or investigate the error. As a parent, it is deeply concerning when a provider appears disengaged and unwilling to clarify what happened -- especially when it involves a prescription for your child. Afterward, we received an email stating the visit lasted six minutes. Even if that were accurate,( which it's not) whether two minutes or six, the value and level of care simply did not justify the charges we were billed. This experience felt dismissive, unaccountable, and indifferent. I would strongly caution others before trusting this practice with their care. Then insurance was billed $245, my $50 copay was taken, and I'm told six months later that I owe another $135. For less than a minute of care. The administration was rude and refused to take accountability for their mistake. The billing practices feel inflated and completely unreasonable. I ultimately saw an out-of-network optometrist who doesn't even process insurance -- and the total cost was 1/4 the cost. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.

The first pair of glasses came after 2 weeks. The second pair has still not come as of June 14, 2024. A couple of weeks ago i stopped by after being told the other pair was in. When I got there they said they had made a mistake and the other pair wasn't in. They told me they'd reach out again when they came in. Last Friday I called during business hours and no-one answered. I stopped by on my way to work and there was a sign saying they were closed for training. I called on Monday and nobody answered during business hours. I stopped by again and was told that they would reach out to the company and call me on Tuesday. Did they call? Nope. I tried calling again on Thursday and surprise, no answer. I stopped by again. I was not happy and let the lady at the front desk know it. Instead of apologizing, she said, "As you can see we are quite busy and have a lot of customers here in the office." They are going to have one less customer to deal with. They actually sent me a message this morning, via text, telling me to reach out to my safety supervisor to see what's going on with my order. That front desk person has no business being in front of customers with her attitude. I love their new beautiful location right off Pioneer Express. The main entrance is on the south west side, on the second floor. My kids really enjoyed the wall mounted kids toys which are brilliant, also the Disney+ playing was indeed a plus. I loved the different themed rooms and how they included a wall mounted toy in each room as well. The assistant and Dr. Brad Henriksen were great and patient with my kids. One weird thing is that my kids didn't get sunglasses after their eyes were dilated? All the other kids had sunglasses so I know they had some available.

The reason I didn't rate 5 STARS it seems their standard practice is to NOT using an alcohol wipe to clean the Slit Lamp before seeing a patient. People's sweat and/or make-up on the lamp, ewww this just creeps me out and unsanitary. With the 40+ years I've been getting eye exams, both forehead and chin areas of the unit were cleaned before patient is examined. That's just like sitting on a pubic toilet without a seat cover.
