I found two Ray Ban frames I like. I sat with a very personable Optician who looked up my insurance, let me know what's covered and answered all of my questions. I filled out some paperwork and my eye exam was in 20 minutes. When it was time for my exam my paperwork was ready, my frames selected and the I met the Optometrist Dave. This was the most through eye exam I'd ever had. My previous scripts weren't that clear. My confidence is restore by Dave. I had them since May 2025 AND they are so muddled that I have to buy dollar store glasses to see clearly. The anti-reflective coating is so worn you can see the glare in my pictures. This is the 2nd pair of clear lenses that failed within 6 months. Nice enough, they're replacing these with a new pair. I'm leery because the rate these demolish are great. What are they using? I have glasses from America's Best that don't degrade like Eye Glass World does. I'm going to get this free pair wear them, and buy NEW glasses at America's Best after the start of the new year. In 6 months I will compare the lenses. Based on past experience I'm pretty sure America's Best will remain the better lens. AVOID Eyeglass World. I believe I'm getting the free pair in order to keep my business. When you look at the pictures you will see foggy, muddled lenses that look scratched but actually the coating used has rubbed in a way that it looks like the coating was applied with very little diligence on the craftsmanship part.

The receptionist (didn't get her name, sorry!) is very friendly and professional. She was even able to troubleshoot something with my insurance for me and had it all resolved by the time my exam was finished. Dr. Ridder took me back a few minutes early. He was personable and not rushed. He took his time to understand the issues I've been experiencing. I appreciate his patience and great bedside manner. My husband and I had an enjoyable visit and conversation with him. We recently moved to UT from CA and have been working to establish our doctor network out here. The first pair of glasses came after 2 weeks. The second pair has still not come as of June 14, 2024. A couple of weeks ago i stopped by after being told the other pair was in. When I got there they said they had made a mistake and the other pair wasn't in. They told me they'd reach out again when they came in. Last Friday I called during business hours and no-one answered. I stopped by on my way to work and there was a sign saying they were closed for training. I called on Monday and nobody answered during business hours. I stopped by again and was told that they would reach out to the company and call me on Tuesday. Did they call? Nope. I tried calling again on Thursday and surprise, no answer. I stopped by again. I was not happy and let the lady at the front desk know it. Instead of apologizing, she said, "As you can see we are quite busy and have a lot of customers here in the office." They are going to have one less customer to deal with. They actually sent me a message this morning, via text, telling me to reach out to my safety supervisor to see what's going on with my order. That front desk person has no business being in front of customers with her attitude. I never have problem with parking. The optometrist is nice and helpful, and the ladies in the front are great. The lady who ran the area for purchasing glasses is also friendly and does not push for expensive upgrades. I have been here before and thought everything was just great but coming with my dad who is wheelchair bound made me realize how inaccessible this place is. 1. No handicap automatic door. Getting through the door was a hassle because I had to hold the door open while trying to maneuver the wheelchair. 2. Unaware staff. The tech who did the initial exams did not know how to deal with someone in a wheelchair and was not making accommodations. I had to move things around, including machinery, so that my dad could access them. 3. Having to transfer to the exam chair. Hear me out. I am 5'3" and my dad is 6'2". Helping him transfer was not an easy task and the tech was no help--I had to ask her to move a chair out of the way and she did not know the foot rest moved (and figured it when it was too late). I hope that there are other optometrists that have accommodations for people in wheelchair, and next time I take my dad anywhere, I'll make sure to ask about accommodations and staff training.
