His dental assistants are incredibly kind and explain to the kids along the way, what they are doing, why and what comes next. Granted, I have those weird kids that like to go to the dentist, and are ridiculously easy patients, but still. The front office staff is just as friendly, and you can tell they are valued members of the practice. I am so thankful that one afternoon I called to see if Dr. Anderson could get my son in for a swollen, sore gum during the winter break and they accommodated us the very next morning. I knew by his demeanor right away that this was going to be a good fit, and my kids think he is great. I am so happy to have some across this practice!

It's been twice that I got unexpected bills…read more Basically the clinic does all the treatments they want and doesn't care what your insurance covers. After the check-up, they just bill you everything. Of course, they do ask you if you want the treatment or not. However, it's the PATIENT'S responsibility to know which benefit cover every year, every six months or no cover. If you don't know your insurance coverage, but you choose to do it. It's YOUR responsibility. They will not tell you this insurance covers or not because they don't look up ahead of time until they are doing their billing. They only care if they get paid. Same thing for returning. They don't care if you have previous records or not, and they don't want it. So, they can charge you if the insurance doesn't cover. Based on the billing lady said, "It's YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to know your coverage and which date what benefit you have used." The billing lady also said, "If you have any problem to pay in full, the doctors are very nice. They allow to make monthly payments." even though I could avoid those charges. By the way, the billing statement only shows the ending balance and doesn't have the detailed billing if the records of billing and the insurance payments are in different months. I guess I just had been so lucky that I didn't need to watch my insurance coverage so closely until now. Even though the doctors and hygienists are nice, they don't know why they cannot keep the patients because this kind of things the billing lady won't tell any one in the clinic. Or, that's the way they run the clinic. I just don't know.

But none of them were pediatric. It is important to me that my daughter goes to a pediatric dentist. So I searched online and found Treehouse Kids. I called to make an appointment and it was super easy, got through quick and had an appointment within two weeks. When we got their we were greeted by kind people. Everyone seemed happy and the wait time was minimal. Once they called my daughter back the hygienist was super friendly and made sure my daughter was comfortable. He was making her laugh, and even let her help him out. She never allowed anyone to clean her teeth before. But they were able to get her to understand that it was safe and wouldn't hurt at all and could be fun too! I highly recommend this place. I live in West Eugene and drove all the way over here. I am so happy to have found such an amazing dentist for my daughter.

He deadened the area with no pain at all, and extracted that bad tooth in just minutes, NO PAIN!. I got a 5% discount for cash or check....who can argue? Dr. Schilt and every one of his lovely ladies were so friendly, but also professional at the same time. The office was clean and nice & cool. I have not one negative thing to say. I'm glad I didn't read these negative reviews beforehand because my experience was very good. Dr. Bratland was very personable and was the only dentist I've had that didn't dismiss the sensitivity issues I've been having with my gums for years. I was happily given an optional treatment I was never offered by previous dentists (who would always give me the typical "don't brush as hard" advice). The hygienist was also good -- she made sure to communicate and ensure I was never hurting or uncomfortable. I'm not sure my opinion will change with subsequent visits, but so far I will continue to go with Crisdental.

The technicians told me that the problem is that I must be eating crunchy food and that is why they split. I really don't know what to say about this, considering that my old, worn down pair still have no problem with carrot sticks and raw broccoli spears, it's not like I chomp rock candy. I do suspect that I'm not the only one with this problem because they were defensive and blew off any attempt from me to explore this problem farther. I feel that they don't want to admit that their plate making process might be flawed. Be advised, they are good people, but they might not be very open to discovering if the manufacturing of denture plates is unstable.
