We love Dr. Ward and his team! They are endlessly patient and kind with our son, and it has been incredible to see the progression in my son's mouth. Palate expansion and braces have helped reduce mouth breathing and oral sensitivity, and correct misalignment. My son initially had a severe gag reflex, and they were compassionate and creative in their responsiveness and ability to find ways to continue providing care. Every step of the experience there has been positive! The front desk staff is warm, welcoming, and so accommodating, and the waiting room is comfortable and has toys and books to entertain my other kids. The assistants are friendly, knowledgeable, and somehow create a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere even when every chair in the office is filled and i know they've been booked solid all day, we're running late, my 4 year old is dysregulated, and my 10 year old is gagging and throwing up on them. That last part only happened once and then they skillfully pivoted and have provided alternate options for impressions, etc., since then. Dr. Ward takes the time to listen not just to me, but to my son, and to work together on treatment planning. It is clear that he is a parent in the way that he is unphased by developmentally appropriate behavior that some adults find difficult - hyper kids, unresponsive shy kids, super sensitive kids, etc. He takes everything in stride and seems to really care that each patient is comfortable and has the best outcome. He's also been conservative in his approach, not over treating and waiting for necessary development to occur before each next step of treatment. My son has been really motivated to earn coins, and stayed committed to his oral hygiene as a result, despite tooth brushing having been a struggle for him previously. We are so grateful to all the providers and staff at Ward Family Orthodontics! read more

I brought my kids here for their orthodontic needs because I also came here when I was in high school, so where between 2001 and 2003 and had such an incredible experience. They seemed to have only gotten better, their service is amazing, and value is top notch. They're also such an incredible friendly staff and it feels like a family type situation when you come in, not very clinic like. I highly recommend! read more

Very nice office and staff are very friendly. However we ultimately decided to go elsewhere since their quote was $2k more than other offices. read more

Very friendly, clean, and caring office environment. There was a minor miscommunication with cost of services, which was corrected quickly and thoughtfully. read more

I take my daughter here for her braces and she's had expanders, herbps appliances and now brackets and they've been very gentle and understanding. She gets a lot of anxiety and has a disability that can make things frustrating and they've done amazing thus far with her. read more

I should have like 36 check ins here... afterall I had braces for over two years. I was referred here by friends... I went to Willamette Dental first for a consult. I loved them for basic hygiene but I was way turned off by the ortho consult. Changed my insurance and came here!!!! Dr. Niles and his entire team are freaking awesome! Truly every single assistant and front desk peeps, account peeps, and the business office!!! I didn't mind at all coming here for over two years lol. They're still helping me with proper retainer fittings to tuck in some teeth i didn't like the spacing on. I was always able to come in and brush and floss before appointments. The exam area is sort of line a bull pen. With cool designs on the ceiling to look at instead of a blank ceiling. All assistive devices are made in house... all retainers etc.... I would refer anyone and everyone here... want or need teeth fixing??? Come to Dr. NILES! read more

Dr Niles and his Stellar Staff get it right 100% of the time...Meaning they Do Whatever it takes to make sure their clients are 100 % satisfied...100% of the time! I agree w all the top notch reviews here.. at Niles they all are always pleasant, professional, kind, caring and health and safety 1st minded! That all may seem standard but I checked out many other places before discovering Niles and not one came close. My story was a need for some correction on my lower arch....having had braces eons ago.. I was getting quoted full orthodontist everywhere else and even some cosmetic engancement...I was very confused about give it all up as too costly and time consuming. Then Dr Niles assessed me 4 a simple spring retainer at a quarter of the time and a third of everyone else's price...Including a permanent underwire fitting when finished! I was stunned and thrilled and have been ever since! I started Dec 2019... my treatment was delayed a bit due to COVID19 but when Dr Niles was able to return to practice it was reassuring that he was following All CDC proticols...including taking each patients temp on arrival. It is beyond words the security and sense of trust you feel for a doctor who truly goes out of his way in every level to make sure you are safe and all your needs are addresses and met! My lower arch journey ended in Aug 2020 and my teeth are even more beautiful than I expected...Dr Niles went above and beyond 4 my smile, actually sculpting my teeth to get them perfect....he did this free of charge when he placed my permanent underwire...because he is an artist/perfectionist and truly a giving man who honestly loves what he does! Fast forward to Oct 2020 and I'm back to do the top arch...same senario...and guess what? I get a nice discount too for already being a client! I cannot say enough great things about Niles Orthodontics...Every single person there is friendly and I look 4ward to each appointment. I was given an option that no one else offered at an unbelievably reasonable ciost.... My smile and all the Extra Care -Priceless Don't Hesitate! Oh did I mention they give out Gift Cards just for showing up? Yea this place is Gold! read more

I am an adult who had braces years ago and never wanted to have braces again. But eventually my teeth reverted back again and when it reached critical mass my dentist referred me to Dr. Niles. And boy am I fortunate that he did. Dr. Niles is a top rate, exceptionally gifted orthodontist. An artist actually. Not only does he have one of the most professional, organized, well-run, friendly, immaculately clean and delightful offices and practices I've ever encountered - both with myself and with friends and family. But he is an absolute perfectionist. This is why I called him an artist: it is as if every tooth in his patient's mouths are pieces of clay to be formed into perfect sculptures. You can have absolute confidence that this doctor, and his adorable, highly competent and incredibly friendly staff will spare no effort to make the process manageable and the results 100% satisfaction. This doctor and his practice are the best of the best and I would unqualifiedly recommend him to everyone! read more

From the moment you walk in, Dr Niles and his staff are so fun, warm and inviting! You can tell they enjoy their work environment and that says a lot about Dr Niles! I'm not finished with my braces yet, but I am very pleased with how my teeth are looking read more

This is ONLY my second time with braces, but I couldn't imagine a better orthodontist. I'm really impressed with the whole operation. They really care about their patients and are so accommodating. The customer service of this place should be a model for every business out there! read more

I was extremely reluctant to start down the path of orthodontia for the second time in my life having had a horrible experience many, many years ago. I am so glad I did and Dr. Niles and staff are the reason. They are outstanding: professional, kind, cheerful, understanding and positive. They are also amazing at time management as my appointments were always on time and sometimes even a little early, even as a drop in for an adjustment. I recommend them most highly! read more

If I could choose ten stars I would. My daughter was born with cleft lip and palate so she needed extensive orthodontic work. She was in braces from fourth grade to eleventh grade so our experience with Dr. Niles and the office staff and assistants and lab staff is a long one. She is currently in twelfth grade and out of braces and her teeth are AMAZING!! We traveled from Roseburg to see Dr. Niles and don't have one regret. I even as an adult got braces at the office since we were making so many trips during this time frame and it was life changing. I'll never forget our first consult appt for my daughter. I was looking for an orthodontist that would coordinate their care with our Portland surgeons. Dr. Niles commented that he will want to request records from Portland before he commits and I told him I had brought them all with me and they were in the car. He said 'go get 'em'. Not all orthodontists are capable of working with other surgeons and looking at a person as a whole. Dr. Niles sold me that first appt. He took care of my daughter on a physical level and emotional level as her teeth changed over the years. He was very patient with her. I highly recommend his office!!!!!!!! read more

This place gets five gold stars from me. I had braces as an adult and every single one of the staff members have been so helpful and patient with all of my questions. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a great orthodontics experience! read more

We travel full-time and so my situation is unique in that I need a creative, supportive orthodontist to see me one time and work collaboratively with my original orthodontist notes. Dr Niles and his staff were GREAT! Not only were they flexible with my situation, they were very supportive of my choices, which to me displays a huge amount of respect and care for their patients. They made the adjustments necessary to my braces, gave me some good insight and helped me tremendously in my choice. They got me in super fast to meet my travel needs AND they didn't charge me more than a normal office visit for a regular patient. I will definitely see them again when in this area and based on their supreme patient care would recommend them to anyone seeking a regular orthodontist. read more

Dr. Niles and his team are fantastic! Friendly, caring staff and a very clean and professional atmosphere. Dr. Niles is always upbeat and the results of his expertise are second to none. I noticed that a couple of my lower teeth were starting to shift (nine years after having braces) and he "dialed them in" as he likes to say, at no charge. Now that is customer service at its best! I would highly recommend Niles Orthodontics to anybody looking for a great orthodontist. read more

Deciding to get braces in my 60's was made so easy once I walked into Dr. Niles office. The office staff were incredibly warm and interested in making me feel comfortable about taking the journey, if I was ready. They reassured me that they worked with all kinds of people of all ages, so age became a non-issue if it was appropriate. It was a two-year journey, and I felt extremely taken care of and respected. I'm just finishing up my appointments and I love, love, love the results! Thank you Dr. Niles and staff! read more

What a wonderful office! At 67 I never expected to have braces but my TMJ was so painful that orthodontia was my only relief...and it was immediate. After contacting 4 specialists who couldn't help me, I was referred to Dr. Niles. Excellent staff with a low key approach which is appreciated after extreme dental terrors as a kid. Thank you all for your gentle, caring approach! read more

Best orthodontist and staff! Kind, efficient, informative and all around fabulous. I had braces as an adult (with a great outcome) and now look forward to my daughter being treated there as well. read more

Amazing staff and incredible orthodontist. Anyone these days can make going to get braces fun, but Dr Niles knocks it out of the park. He didn't rush us, allowing teeth to come in and get right where he wanted them before putting the braces on my son. He goes above and beyond personally to make sure you are doing well. I almost wish I could have braces again. read more

I too would give Dr. Niles ten gold stars if possible. Dr. Niles and his team are professional, caring and knowledgeable. As an adult, I always feel comfortable going in for my appointments as his office employees are so friendly and many of his patients are adults. I've needed extensive care due to other dental issues taking place and Dr. Niles is continuing to follow me and give me treatments, as needed, to make sure that I receive the best outcome possible. read more

There are good orthodontists and then there are great ones. Dr Niles is one of the great ones. I own dental practices throughout Oregon, Crisdental. I have been referring patients to him for years. Dr. Niles' care and expertise is second to none. His staff is wonderful. He finishes cases quicker and with better results than anyone I know. As a side note, I don't say this because I'm friends with him. I only know him as a colleague. I want the best care for my patients and hands down, he is the best! read more

Dr. Gobeille was certainly the funner of the two doctors while both were in partnership, but Dr. Niles is still just as professional and personable. kept and maintained great staff who were both professional and courteous to children and adults. Very thorough and efficient procedures (I went through the whole part 1 and 2 phases as I had not only crooked teeth but a small and overcrowded mouth and NEVER needed to pull a tooth. Scheduling was always convenient, and they would usually be able to get you in right away, especially in an orthodontic emergency. I haven't gone back in years (since they put in the permanent retainers) but their service was always top notch. I wonder if they still have the wooden nickel program? That was always a bonus for the kids to purchase things through wooden nickels from their visits. Bless my mother though - that orthodontic work didn't come cheap, but the results paid off. read more
