Honestly I've never been here but reading the responses from dr G on these negative reviews are enough to keep me away. Dr G you claim you'll never be dismissive as you are being dismissive about the complaints! That makes no sense. You can't tell people they are wrong for feeling the way you or your staff made them feel. Definitely going to keep looking for a better orthodontist for my son. As soon as they got the final payment their attitude changed. Dr Grieve called the cops due to an autistic meltdown/shutdown and yelled at me to get my kid and get out (without a mask on). Even though my kid was two visits from completing treatment refused to give her the retainer that was included in the treatment I had already paid for in full because there was "nothing to retain". They also refused to transfer treatment elsewhere or give a refund for services not rendered (ie, the retainer). I would 100% advise avoiding this place. While seeing Dr. Grieves as a patient he seemed to be a good orthodontist. However, We purchased the insurance to cover the permanent retainer should there be any future issues once the braces were removed. We are now being told (as we go in for a second repair in 4 years) it was only good for one use and we will need to pay an additional $100 to fix the bond on the retainer. This seems very fraudulent, why purchase a one time only insurance, we would have opted to just pay if/when a repair was needed. Now because we don't have the $100 we chance movement in the teeth. read more

This orthodontist made one side of my top teeth higher than the other, polished my back molars so that they no longer touch on the right side, and left the crowding in my front teeth unfixed. Crowding, incidentally, is what I got Invisalign for in the first place. In addition to wielding the polisher like the Barber of Seville, he got angry and pushed back every time I asked if he was doing the right thing. After a while, I didn't want him (or his extremely sour staff) to be angry, so I stopped speaking up for myself. I wish I hadn't, because my teeth are too important. Anyone can make a mistake, but getting defensive and angry at the customer for asking questions is a sign to me that mistakes aren't being honestly and openly acknowledged. Certain staff members also became angry with me and hypersensitive when they thought I was criticizing them. This provider's marketing campaign is great, and his office is loaded with video games and other enticements for the kids. But what people really want from someone who fixes their teeth are expertise, integrity and customer service. Everything else is just a diversion. read more

Horrible! If I could give this man negative stars I would. My culture does not shake hands. I politely explained this to him, by adding, "However, I'm really happy to meet you." I stated with my hand over my heart. He wouldn't stop questioning my custom and insisted that his hands were clean and that there was nothing wrong with shaking his hand. I patiently repeated my cultural norms and the reasons behind it, to calm his concerns, that nothing was personal. The man reached out and grabbed my hand and shook it anyway. During the initial consultation, I asked him to explain how my teeth would move while wearing invisalign. He explained that my top teeth wouldn't be moving, as they were, "Happy where they are." Then, during the procedure, he began putting buttons on my top teeth. Afterwards, when I questioned him about it, he began screaming, "INVISALIGN MOVES YOUR TEETH! THAT'S WHAT BRACES DO! I AM THE ORTHODONTIST HERE! I WENT TO SCHOOL FOR THIS! I DON'T NEED TO BE QUESTIONED BY YOU!" Before, I left the office, he began screaming again, at the top of his lungs, "DID I ANSWER ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS?!?!" Both times I and the other patients were so shocked by his actions, the room just stopped and stared at him. I will never go back there ever again. read more

I really like the staff and the company itself. The staff is so kind and helps you with any sort problems/questions you have. I was a patient of Dr. Grieve in my teens and had a great experience! I always thought it was so cool that he had free video games to play before an appointment and fresh baked cookies to enjoy after. Dr. G made me feel informed on how my treatment was progressing at my appointments. He would even walk out into the waiting room to make sure my mom knew how things were going. That's still something she comments positively on when speaking of his office. Since then I have become an orthodontic technician myself and have been working with Dr. G for a couple years. He continues to offer the highest level of customer service, latest technology, and continues his education in providing the best treatment for his patients. I had braces as an adult and I had a good experience here. My braces were on for about 20 months, so I spent plenty of time here. The staff is nice and courteous, and the office is nice and very comfortable. The orthodontist himself is very quiet, but professional. He might not talk much, but he seems to be great at what he does. I have had several dentists comment on what a great job my orthodontist did and ask for his info. I really do love this office and the people working there. From the first day I went in for a consultation, I went to the back office and Amber was so nice and helpful. She made me feel comfortable, and then we discussed my options. She put together a potential contract for me that worked very well with my income level. I told her I didn't make very much, and she did everything she could to try to accommodate that. I never thought that braces were an option for me, but with her payment plan and not requiring a bank account/credit (because I couldn't provide that at the time), I left feeling hopeful that I could actually get this work done. After that, I felt no need to continue shopping around. I felt like everybody at this office wanted the best for me, and wanted me to get this work done, even though I was a broke student. I felt like this was going to be a great opportunity for me. They gave a tour of their office, and I was astonished! All of their amenities that they offer was fantastic. They have a brushing station to freshen up before and appointment, and water and snacks, as well as comfortable seating and a fireplace to enjoy while you wait. They have an easy check-in system, and even an arcade for kids if they get bored! It is a very comforting and welcoming environment. They have top of the line equipment, including their scanning and x-ray machine. They suggested invisalign for me, which was the same price as braces, but would work better for me and my lifestyle. Immediately, they took the scans and x-rays, and started putting together a treatment plan for me. I became excited for my treatment to start. I started going in about weekly for a few months, getting in new attachments and parts and things. The first 6 months or so were a little rough because of all the moving that my teeth had to do to really be able to start getting less crowded and straight. But through that, they were always very accommodating when making appointments, and tried to help with pain and discomfort the best that they could. They were knowledgeable, and did the best that they could not to hurt me when working on me. After getting my hardware out and beginning to wear the full aligners, things got easier. The pain wasn't so bad, and I was coming in a lot less for appointments. Now, I only come in every 2 months or so, and it's a quick appointment. I have NEVER had to wait a long time to be seen or had to stay way longer than I needed to. They are efficient and don't waste my time, which I appreciate. They let me know the appointments that I will need to come in to get a new scan for a new set or new pictures taken, so I can note to make more time for those appointments. I am seeing amazing improvement. My teeth look so much better than when I started, and I am so anxious to see the final result! They always answer any questions I have, and it's an enjoyable experience. Being a little behind in payments, Heather has been very understanding and willing to work with me to get caught up. I really appreciate her helpfulness, and can't thank this office enough for all of their work. I received treatment from Dr. Greeves. I only had them on for 6 months (seems short to me but I am no expert) my teeth were straight upon removal. Although when I received my retainers I immediately told the assistant that they did not fit properly. I could feel that they were causing extra pressure on certain teeth. She assured me that they were fine and I just needed to get use to them. I wore my retainers faithfully. I called them 2 months after the removal of my braces to alert them that my teeth had started moving. They seen me and told me that I wasn't wearing my retainer enough. I wore my retainer 24 hours a day with the exception of meals. I don't know how much more I could've possibly worn them! So that appointment did nothing, gave me no answers, no solution. Sucks that I spent all that time and money to continue to have crooked teeth. I seen my dentist for a cleaning not to long after that and he had noted how much my teeth had moved and suggested I see Dr. Greeves again. So I did this time I was seen by dr. Greeves he asked me to put my retainer in and in formed me that they did not fit properly and that is why my teeth moved. I SAID THAT THE FIRST DAY AND NO ONE LISTENED!!!!!! So now my only option is to pay to have braces placed AGAIN and pay for them AGAIN. Dr. Greeves did nothing to right this wrong. Office assistant states " we still have bills that need paid" I was in no way asking for a free ride but a discount for your mistake would have been nice. read more

I can only describe my experience with Dr. Grieve as infuriating. I went in to get a busted permanent retainer fixed (a minor and relatively inexpensive procedure) and instead he tried to bully me into getting braces all over again, allegedly to fix my bite, despite having braces/headgear for 5+ years as an adolescent. When I declined he became very condescending. I have since been assured by a dentist that my bite is perfect, my teeth are in excellent condition, and there is absolutely no need for me to get braces again. I've talked to multiple other people since then who also had negative experiences with this orthodontist, both trying to sell them unnecessary and expensive procedures and being rude and condescending. If he tries to tell you that you need invisalign, I strongly advise you to get a second opinion before shelling out thousands of dollars and going through the hassle. I would not recommend him to anyone and I would never ever go back to him for anything. read more
