I was very nervous about the switch mid-treatment at the time-- but it turned out to be the best fortune for me, my teeth and my family. Dr. Thornton has excellent listening skills and is conservative in his approach (he does not over treat). My teeth turned out beautiful and it was always a joy to come to the appointments as the entire staff are friendly and good at keeping busy adults and kids on schedule without drama. I later sent my daughter to Dr. Thorton for braces and to fix a tooth that was stuck in the wrong position. She is now 16 with a fantastic smile. She was always happy with her treatment. We have one more teen who will need some minor treatment soon. I wouldn't consider anyone else. Kids who attend Roosevelt and South can easily walk to appointments after school. In all, Thorton Orthodontics deserves a hearty five gold stars.

I still don't have insurance, but I did have a broken and painful tooth, so I budgeted carefully to have it pulled. All I can say is if you are looking for a good dentist, this is the one you're looking for. The ladies were wonderful and so friendly. I got a timely appt, I did my paperwork online, they sent me appt reminders, and I did not wait a single second in the lobby past my appt start time. Dr. John Schilt was right on that tooth as soon as the xrays and initial exam by the assistant, whose name I may have forgotten, were completed. He deadened the area with no pain at all, and extracted that bad tooth in just minutes, NO PAIN!. I got a 5% discount for cash or check....who can argue? Dr. Schilt and every one of his lovely ladies were so friendly, but also professional at the same time. The office was clean and nice & cool. I have not one negative thing to say.
