We have been saying we needed to come here for quite some time and today seemed like a good time since it was in the same parking lot as Hobby Lobby where my wife wanted to come. When we walked in we were greeted quickly and taken to our table and our drink order taken. We both got iced teas. After perusing the menu we decided on the numero uno minus green peppers but with jalapeños. Our pie came out quickly and had an inviting look to it with the topping to the edge. I hate when I get pizza that had all the topping center loaded. We dug in and were very surprised, the crust is a cracker crust which is hard to find around here and the sauce had good flavor. The ambiance is great with lots of things to look at and great old time music playing in the background at a nice level so we were able to have a conversation. Aye man, I'm oregano's fan and I have been ever since I was a student at the Arizona State University and I will go to the Tempe location if I had a hot date. I'll remember the wait for that pizza the garlic bread, the bowl of pasta. All of it was great, but as the years went by, I felt like the food diminished, especially when you ordered it from one of the delivery apps. But a brother stay true to my oregano's family and I kept going back. Kept telling people in my family yo trust me to experience gonna be different this time. Well let me start by saying that the service was amazing and for having such a young generation, Z staff I got none of that awkward generation Z stare. Our server was amazing. Got everything out to us was fantastic. But you know there was just something lacking about the food. It just doesn't hit like it used to. It's not bad and they give you a lot of it so you're definitely taking some home so there's great value there. But I don't know it's lacking something that it used to have. I got the bowl of pasta and some pizza that I split with some others at the table. Barbecue chicken pizza is had by some other folks and they didn't really like it. Chicken Parmesan sandwich was good but a little underwhelming and my waffle fries were served cold (I love Hot Carbs) my wife ordered a thin crust Bistro Classic which was over done and not very flavorful. We ate a late lunch here and enjoyed our experience. We ordered way too much food, but I was pleasantly surprised by how many items I could enjoy on a low carb diet. I do wish they had zoodles as a substitute for pasta dishes. Between three of us, we ordered calamari as an appetizer (delicious!), a side of broccoli (fresh and cooked just right), a side of meatballs (huge and yummy), an antipasto salad (huge and fantastic), and hakuna piccata chicken and pasta (delicious flavor). We ended up taking enough home for another meal for two of us. Service was friendly and efficient. We were seated away from other patrons, as requested. Came here for a school fundraiser. There was a toddler in the next booth screaming his head off so it didn't help. The serving staff was adequate but not stellar. I was pleased that when I asked for a to-go container to be brought out with my meal, he took the initiative to actually box up half the meal while still in the kitchen and then bring out the smaller portion on a smaller plate. The food was fine but not worth the cost (almost $100 for 3- one appetizer no alcohol). I do appreciate that they were willing to do the fundraiser though. read more

Ordered a Pan Numero one-o (their version of a supreme) after a long day of hiking in the Saguaro National Park. We ordered it online and brought it back to our Airbnb because we were pretty grubby from the hike. Now what we were expecting and what we received were quite different. If you order a "Pan" pizza from Oregano's and expect a crust that's thick, soft, and chewy on the inside with a golden, crispy exterior (Chicago style) you will be disappointed. What we received was a "thin crust" in the shape of of a pan. Otherwise, The pizza itself was tasty, decent marinara sauce, lots of ingredients and cheese, but definitely a thin crust. read more

We love going back to Oregano's on Oracle & Orange Grove. We typically sit at the bar. Last night we split the "small" caesar salad...plenty large for 2 people. We also loved the pan pizza with 4-5 different toppings. And our evening is always a complete delight when Mat is our bartender and our waiter. Mat prepared a most delicious skinny Margarita for me, in a tall glass topped with a Tajin rim. It looked and tasted fantastic!! (P.S. I'm a very picky cocktail connoisseur) and my partner had draft beer. Being served by Mat is always a pleasure and it feels like "coming home." This is not "deep dish" pizza. This is a pizza where they pulled the crust up higher. Nobody wants "more crust", they want deep dish. The only difference from this pizza and another pizza is that they pinched the crust up to the edge of a deep dish pan before they cooked it. Bravo. read more

We were 1 of 2 tables there around 3pm. We ordered and the waitress didn't know if they served diet dr pepper. After ordering cheesy bread, antipasto salad, 1 pasta dish and the big beef sandwich. Total bill including tip was $90. Salad didn't come til 8 minutes after entrees. The salad was the only item that had flavor. I had to ask for a refill. I didn't eat any more because I finished my 2nd soda and the waitress never came back. So I knew I wasnt getting a refill. Poor service and the food was not good. We like Oregano's, but not this location. The spaghetti is always overcooked. Seriously! They cook other pasta well, but for a spaghetti lover overcooked noodles are unacceptable. Service has always been so-so. The final straw was when a cockroach came out of a crack in the wall beside a member of our party, walked along the wall above the table, and into another crack above the table. The other side of the wall was the kitchen. The manager and server discounted the ticket without being asked.
