On top of that, there were obvious new stitches added that hadn't been there before, and they didn't even remotely match the fabric or color of the knit. I also brought in a trench coat, which came back with all the same stains untouched -- honestly, for the best considering what happened to the dress. When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. Please do not trust them with valuable clothing, especially anything sentimental like a wedding dress.

She is kind, attentive and thoughtful....also incredibly clever at stain removal even for what I consider difficult stains. Last winter, I'd brought in a cherished sweater with a moth hole, only to see the hole become invisible on return, to my amazement. She had not promised magic, in fact was cautious when she saw the hole, but she worked hard to create magic. I have been extremely pleased and relieved to have someone as reliable as Lee's in the neighborhood. And even if it weren't in the neighborhood, I'd probably make the effort to go there - over the advertised and promoted cleaners all around.

I very clearly instructed her to cut five inches off the bottom and then turn it up and hem it. I returned back the following week and I paid her $45.00 dollars to do it. Well, the sewing job was done well, however, she refuses to cut off as much as I wanted. She only cut off about two inches and then turned it up and hemmed it. I'm going to need to take it to someone else to redo it now. She is so ridiculously obstinate and controlling that she is unreliable like that. I told her that I had other dresses from Temu that I also want to have fixed. Unfortunately, even though she sews very well I'm not going to be able to give her return business.

Unfortunately there is always something wrong with around half of the machines when I go in there. I do my laundry in the middle of the day, so I haven't had an issue, but I can see how it might be hard to get a washer/dryer in the evenings. I drop my laundry off and come back for it (I live very close) and I've never had an issue with theft or people removing my things from the machines. However, very hard to figure out who works there (if there is even anyone behind the desk). Edit: they have now "lowered" their prices and started charging for dryers. They claim it comes out to about the same price, but this is not true. Additionally the past several times my clothes have come out with stains on them. They mentioned they made a mistake in the beginning, but even so they should call me first to confirm the price change, instead of making decisions on their own to increase the price. Also rent isn't cheap in Boston so I think the prices are very fair when you take that into account. Quarters only, but there is an ATM and quarter machine inside. I've only seen the quarter machine run out once but someone came in to refill it ~10 minutes after it ran out so not a huge deal.
