I recently moved from Kissimmee to Orlando and have been trying to find a good nail salon in my area. I decided to try Orange Nails because of the reviews on Yelp, but I honestly I don't understand the good reviews! I came here as a walk-in on 1/2/2016 at around 4:45 PM. There was no wait time which was probably the only nice thing about this place. I asked the nail tech for an acrylic full set with a "coffin" shape. For this specific shape it's an extra $7 which I wouldn't have minded if she actually knew what she was doing. My nails turned out uneven, crooked, and VERY thick! On top of that, the nail polish at this establishment is obviously extremely thinned out. Because it's more thinner than actual polish it goes on streaky, uneven, doesn't dry properly, and smudges. I added pictures of what happened to my nails as soon as I got into my car. You can also see how crappy the actual acrylic job is. I ended up ripping them off that night, they were so horrible! On top of that, it's not like the staff goes out of their way to be nice or anything. The entire two hours I was there the tech probably only said two words to me: pick color. Never coming back here again and I wouldn't suggest anyone bring their business here either. read more

One of the worst nail salons. I've been here about 5 or 6 times and I hated it everytime, but since it's closest to my house it was always convenient and I thought maybe if somebody else did my nails I don't like it. Nope. I've had the owner do my nails twice and he is the worst that always crooked and never the way I want it. They are super overpriced and lazy they don't put in any extra work. Even if it stops you from getting an infection. When I get a pedicure here they cut my toenails slanted and too short that I ended up getting a ingrown nail that could've been avoided. Never going back isnt even worthy of 1 star read more

I have gone here quite a long time because overall the quality is pretty good and always leave 20% or more, but seems like they are not too happy with that? I am curious to know what the expected tip is on nail service? Some techs are really good others just so so. I love most of the eyebrow techs and it is very affordable so I will keep going. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a one star. I came in for a pedicure and pink and white fill my pedicure went great I have no complains. But as far as my nails go it was horrible. I had two broken nails and since I already had a pink and white I told the lady that that's how I wanted them. Well she came and put on a regular tip and then glued another white tip on top with regular powder. So now all my nails are pink and white except for two and it just looks awful. And yes I still paid full price for everything and even left a 10 tip I will NEVER go here again. Lesson learned. read more

I started my two hours in hell at this salon today when I went in for a pedicure, that ended up taking two hours of my time and resulted in a very poorly executed pedicure. The had Schindlers list on full blast the entire time I sat in my chair having a nail technician continuously mess up my nails for over two hours, to the point i just left with the messed up nails to save myself the time an energy. Oh, and they still charged me the full amount for a very bad pedicure that took twice as long as it was supposed to. Do not waste your time. read more

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Unprofessional, sloppy pedicures, expensive and rude.

Do not go to the guy that sits near the register. He does a terrible job on your nails, he also answers the phone, and runs the register while assisting you. He constantly takes breaks to do other things. His manicures suck, he cleans nails after the polish is on. Terrible service. You'll thank me later. read more

Walked in and the fumes smell i stayed to cough. It was so strong my head was spinning by the time I left. I only went in for a eye brows and had to wait like 20 minutes. A nail chick did my eye brows in between doing a set and rushed. I didn't get to see them before I left but when I got to my car, my eye brows are completely uneven. It's horrible. Christine on Table 5 is great. She is new to Orange for 6 months or so but is a seasoned nail professional. Very quiet but very nice and talkative once you make conversation. Most important she did a top notch pedicure and manicure with just their regular version for a great great price! No cutting corners and free bottled water is a nice touch. I would highly recommend for mani and pedi. read more

if i could put zero stars i would! i came from ny to visit my family and they just moved here so we tried a new salon even though we had one we liked 20 minutes away needless to say we regret not driving 20 minutes. to start out with when you walk in you are greeted with tacky interior and it seemed as though the nail salon was packed so we are greeted by the receptionist who sits down to do my nails, so he begins to do my fill and I had a crack,which is why i decided to get a fill in the first place. he just put something on top of the crack and tells me not to bang it again or else it'll break again so I asked him if he can fix it completely and he says he'll charge me an extra five dollars then he begins to file down my nails and I tell him not to file the shape because I like the shape so I check back in a few minutes and he already had changed the shape completely then when he begins to put the nail polish on top and it sinks into all the cracks because he didn't file it down right and whenever I told him about it he insured me that it will just be fixed itself... clearly that wasent the case the pictures will speak for themselves so we left before they messed it up even more read more

So I've been here in July because of a recommendation from a friend. Christine did an amazing job with sns on my nails. So detailed and focused. It looked so natural. My nails came out great! I went back for sns last week and this time with the guy there, I didn't get his name. He was very pleasant and nice but totally not focused on my nails. He kept getting up to answer the phone, checking people out at the register, changing the thermostat, just all over the place. After filling my nails he turned on the little fan and asked me to hold my nails up to it...why??? Was it because it was so necessary to blow all that nail dust off (sarcasm) or just to keep me busy while he got up and do something else? Then when he'd sit back down he'd get back to filing a nail he already filed or look lost for a second. Something that took maybe 20 mins with Christine took over an hour because this guy wasn't focused. My nails look so thick and clumpy. I wasn't happy paying $35 for what I left with. I even tipped him, but I really shouldn't have. I don't know if I'll be back. read more
