This guy does horrible work and doesn't finish the job. Be aware that his estimates aren't accurate, you will be charged more. The quality of the grass he put in was so bad and different types of grass in the same area. We paid to have the automatic sprinklers setup...he never came back. I spent half an hour explaining how I wanted my tree pruned, explaing how i suspected termite activity and would like to see proof if there was, pointing to exactly where I wanted the branches cut, only for them to end up butchering my tree. I was also upset at myself because i was only going to get a quote, i had just came off a night 12hr shift, but he inisisted and insisted to let him do the work right then and there, and I was so exhausted that I gave in. He said he wouldn't use loud machines and that they'd be quiet. Which was a lie. They worked on my tree three years ago and it still upsets me when I look up at my tree and see how they butchered it. It was 2 yrs 3 months ago exactly. Like i said, i still look up and get upset everytime I see my tree which is why I wrote the review. And I specifically asked you to show me signs of termite activity if you did find any. When I went outside to see why you were letting large branches fall on my roof, you said you found termites but had nothing to show me. Like I said I spent 30+ minutes giving instructions and yet you couldn't follow them. And you didnt finish the job because I paid you and I asked you to leave. To be upfront, this review is not about the quality of their work as I never had the opportunity to see it because of their lack of professionalism. Having moved to our new home recently, we are in the process of looking for a landscaper to perform general cleanup work, repair our irrigation system, and see what could be done to return grass to our yard as the previous owners left it in neglect. We reached out to several landscapers, Orange County Tree Patrol being one of the ones who responded. I set an appointment this past Tuesday for yesterday between. 1pm-3pm to come out to provide an estimate. Yesterday, I reached out to confirm their arrival after 3pm ; It wasn't until after their scheduled arrival time that they reached out to say that they lost track of time. While I understand there may have been some issues that came up, the professional thing would have been to reach out and let me know; especially I rearranged my day to meet with them, also, I didn't appreciate being talked to like I was their buddy I will definitely be making sure that anyone I know in their doesn't go with them for their landscaping needs. read more

Marcos and his team were efficient and delivered what they promised at a reasonable price. I placed a request on Yelp for 8 Cypress trees to be removed that were about 10 feet tall. We needed removal and stump removal as well. Marcos was the first to reply to my yelp request and he called me the next day as promised to set up a date and time to start. His guys came at 7:30 a.m. and where cleaned up and done right before noon. In this day and age we have had so many flaky contractors not deliver or not even call when they say they will. Orange County Tree Patrol was great to work with! Marcos was very nice, he answered all my questions, and kept in touch the whole way through. His crew made quick work of trimming the 2 trees in my backyard and did not leave a mess. They arrived at 07:00am and were done by 10:00am. They used pruners and hand saws for most of it so there were no loud chainsaws all morning. I am very disappointed with Marcos. When our project was done- big project as i spent $$, 3 days after I noticed there were missing sprinklers. I called him right away to inform him. He promised to come back and address all my concerns- misisng sprinklers, weeds are coming out everywhere! Also a week later we started to see a lot of the plants dying. He also promised to give me some solar lights for the front yard. I have attempted several times to contact him. He gave me promises after promises. More than a month now, Marcos still hasn't fix what he promised to fix. Here were his text messages to me every time i followed up with him--- Boss I'm sorry. Don't worry I will take care of it and I will treat it I will b there first thing in the morning. I pinky promise boss What ever your not happy with. We will fix it. Don't stress out Ok no problem. It's important to me that the trimmer doesn't spike my trees (so that you see the spike marks in the trunk) and uses a ladder whenever possible. I walked over and talked with Marcos from Orange County Tree Patrol. He was friendly and walked over to quote my job. I explained to him my concerns with spiking the trees and wanted a fair price. The following Monday he started the backyard project. Cleaned up all the grass and weeds, took out three tree stumps and a couple of palm trees that started to grow on the side of my house from seeds dropping for the palms in front of my house, trimmed my ivy back and turned the dirt with his rototiller....
