Jennifer got me ready for a trip to Africa when my torn rotator cuff was giving me pain. She was knowledgeable and able to explain where the pain was coming from and the purpose of the exercises. She provided a helpful home plan as well as office therapy. Parking is close to the facility and spaces are easy to find. The office and therapy areas are warm and calm and appointments are on time. In January 2026, I fell and broke 3 ribs. Jennifer gave me an evaluation appointment to determine if PT would be better than the exercise classes I currently take. She spent an uninterrupted appointment while testing my range of motion and pointing out where the breaks were. Luckily, my ribs were aligned with little space between the broken bones. Jennifer quizzed me on the types of exercises I regularly do and recommended that I keep up with my regimen without using weights and explained the purpose of what I was doing in furthering the healing process. As she predicted, those classes were enough to get me back in shape. I appreciated her honest appraisal. Before returning to OrthoSport for my broken ribs, I visited 4 other PT locations. I observed that parking was difficult, the facilities were cold and there were people waiting for their appointments. So it was an easy decision to return to Jennifer and OrthoSport.

Let's start with the actual PT. I've been recovering from a hamstring autograft ACL reconstruction (+ meniscus stitch), and Dr. Taylor Sillekens has employed the perfect balance of pushing me to progress quickly while demonstrating holistic care for both my knee and overall wellbeing. He puts a lot of thought into his programming, which is both challenging and creative- I believe I've left every session having tried a new exercise. My mobility and strength bounced back so quickly that I found myself stronger than I was prior to the injury within less than 6 months. Core Performance has a lovely staff team as well! The PT aids are quite attentive and consistently check on my form/correct me if I'm off. I've had an incredible experience with Cat Stephens (who has not only helped me through painful moments but also brings smiles to all the patients' faces), but have always felt well-attended by all of the aids. The staff is super welcoming, knows us by name when we walk in, and are very responsive with scheduling. I look forward to each session since I know I'll be surrounded with such friendly people when I come in. I know this is verbose, but I'm just trying to convey my incredible experience here. I've had many ACL tear veterans express their disbelief at the speed of my recovery, and even have strangers approach me at my gym to ask how I got out of my brace so quickly. This practice has been super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The space is clean and spacious and usually not over crowded. I started PT beginning of June and after 3-4 weeks, I started to experience positive effects with my recovery. Josephine and the rest of the staff are super great. I personally went to a doctor for my issue several years ago and was dismissed. I saw Josephine, and she immediately validated my concern and actually identified the issue. What I appreciate most about this clinic is the personalized attention from the physical therapist, who dedicates the entire session to one-on-one care, a rarity in the field. After working with a couple of therapists, I found Ross to be exceptional and the ideal fit. His expertise in sports injuries and nuanced understanding of human movement is impressive. Moreover, his encouraging and patient demeanor is essential when dealing with patients in pain (and who might be feeling down because pain has prevented them from doing what they love). Over the past couple of months, I have seen significant improvement in my injuries under his care. I have regained my range of motion, and he has correctly diagnosed and treated what has been the true cause of what's been causing my lower back/hip/ sciatica pain. She was unclear as to why I was there after filling out intake form online with DETAILED dx and mri results. She immediately stated that " I don't think physical therapy will help you".. really?? My Doctor thinks so! Then she said, " I have sciatica - it never goes away. I stated that I had sciatica 5 years ago, did physical therapy and do my exercises to this day it has not returned.. she said, yes, that's good. Whaaaat?!! I asked what we could do to help calm the pain - ie: ice therapy, decompression, massage, tens unit.. she just said," we don't do that". Then she proceeded to have me attempt movements to get a baseline - I told her this is extremely painful - I have done this at physicians office - I have all the records and notes for you .. she just looked confused and asked me to stand and bend ( 5 bulging and one herniated disk) Then she asked if Dr recommended surgery - I said, no Dr recommended physical therapy!!!! After about 10 minutes of this nonsense, I stood up and said, no, this isn't what I need" she said, " okay bye". I have been to physical therapy in the past and this place was negative, uncaring, and extremely disorganized with no communication what so ever. I called Medicare and we are watching to see if they try to bill for an hour appointment since I was there with her less than 10 minutes. Very disappointed to say the least.

I asked to change the pillows cases , before they start my treatment . Maxine, my therapist, got upset with me. No personality. I had a felling that she doesn't care. I ask Holly, how often they change the pillow cases. Her answer was " every 3 days " I am not comfortable with that, and after calling my insurance, there answer was "That is unacceptable, with the COVID and flu season again ". Victor is the owner, Arlene is the manager I hope they will take in consideration my concerns and will protect ALL the patients in the future. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
