I went to see a foot orthopedic surgeon and he referred me to Core Performance. From the first visit, Yorick Yuan spent the first session assessing my condition and analyzing the nature of my injury. In future sessions, each exercise was tailored to improve my healing. After 2 weeks, I notice a significant improvement. After 6 weeks, I feel so much better and close to being completed healed. I'm continuing PT to work on my gait, walking up and down stairs and overall strength in my legs. I feel each exercise helped me and I have made tremendous progress. The PT assistants I mostly work with are Cole and Rose and they are very patient and competent. Let me tell you what it is like to be 8-9 months pregnant. You're carrying a big load, you've…read moregained a substantial amount of weight, your extremities are swollen, and you have unexpected pain in places you didn't know so... your movement is definitely restricted. What was once a strut is now a waddle, and you're moving at a much slower pace. I have had the pleasure of working with Gillian and David. Both PTs are incredibly personable, knowledgeable and detail oriented. They would ask me questions to make me aware of how my movement affects different parts of the body, massage painful areas, and give me exercises that help me extend my movements to make me stronger, more flexible, and able to handle daily life. The office staff is very friendly, esp Tatiana. Always willing to accommodate my appts and times. It is a very clean, colorful and inviting environment. I've been a patient in the past and had great service from the PT assistant/students…read more Unfortunately, my last experience is the complete opposite. I am a patient and have re-established care and am undergoing treatment with Koh, I arrived at my scheduled appointment and that's when they informed me that they will no longer be seeing me due to staffing shortages. That is completely unacceptable. When a medical provider accepts a patient, establishes care and begins treatment with them they should not drop the patient based on their insurance. The most uncomfortable part of the experience was that there was no compassion by the front office, lady, especially after pleading with her that I am in pain even to drive to this location, her repeated responses were other providers offices that were significantly further, she wasn't even listening to my needs and pain levels as a patient. It's very sad that compassion in healthcare just doesn't exist anymore, we're all just a number with whose insurance pays the highest gets the service.
