Don't go to this place , they don't give the food you order from their menu. Literally menu fraud and illegal. We need to make them close this place down.

Had meals there for many times. The restaurant serves Asian food which do not cost much. Nice environment and you don't need to wait for long time.

    $17

I ordered the sirloin with potatoes and rice. I had to pick out a legitimate mountain of skin and fat. If you are okay with skin and fat, then maybe this dish can be worth it - because it's primarily that. But if you do not care for skin and fat, then this dish is nowhere near worth $17. Even with you pick the gross stuff out, everything is still very subpar tasting. Update: I am changing this from 2 stars to 1 because I just threw up a whole lot after feeling nauseous for a good hour. This happened a about 6ish hours after I ate the Orange Asia food. Since then, I've eaten nothing else. I honestly feel kinda scammed. Like I payed $17+tax+tip+delivery to eat some bad-tasting potato and rice, then to get food poisoning.

I'm downtown Syracuse, a block form Syracuse University Hill. Authentic Asian meals. Menus in Chinese. Hard to find items available here, just like their counterparts in China. Finally a place to fin the home cooked meals served in Asia, right here in Syracuse. And holy smokes are they spicy. There's like 20 Chile's in my Cumin Beef. Awesome.

So, I went! I rarely see an authentic Chinese restaurant with a menu that offered pics, but this one had a pic for each entrée, which is nice for those who need a little help deciding. They also have the items I really like, like the cumin dishes, multi-pepper dishes, etc. I got their cumin beef, chili oil wontons, and spicy cucumbers and everything was absolutely amazing! Those cucumbers were some of the most flavorful I've ever had, in fact! The spice level and flavor was spot-on for each dish, especially the beef! That beef was extremely tender too! I highly recommend stopping in if you have an appreciation for authentic Szechuan food!

The servers are super attentive, you order off QR code and they bring the food out within 15 min. There are rarely a ton of people here but that honestly makes it better, super homey feel. The mapo tofu BANGSSSSSS. Best I've ever have EASILY. I got the sweet bread for the first time tonight and wow it felt like I was biting into a fluffy piece of yummy. Prices are great, foods even better.

Dawn Light is an incredible gem. After much online search, my husband discovered this Burmese-run…read morerestaurant through its Facebook page and took the family there for lunch. What a treat! This was one of the best meals I've ever had in Utica. Although the menu is pan-Asian, with Indian, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Burmese cuisine featured, we ordered five Burmese items: the tea leaf salad, coconut noodle, fish noodle soup, Burmese milk tea, and a coconut milk-based sticky rice dessert. Everything was terrific and authentic. The tea leaf salad was actually quite spicy, but wonderfully pungent and intense yet textured with the crunchy peanuts. I also loved the mohinga--this, too, was a slightly spicier version than what I've had in the past. However, I loved how flavorful it was. Milder in flavor was the coconut noodle soup, which our toddlers liked more. The milk tea was sweet and strong--a great accompaniment to our savory and spicy meal. To end our meal, we got a box of five pieces of sweet coconut milk sticky rice cake, which was chewy and very yummy! The food was all made fresh to order, affordably priced, and truly delicious. The restaurant itself was spacious and clean. It seemed like it was a bit of a hangout spot for Burmese in the community. Dawn Light is an absolute highlight in the Utica restaurant scene--I wish them longevity as I hope to return many times in the future!

The food was brought out very timely and the servers were great at clearing all of the plates we were done with. The food was absolutely delicious and so were the drinks. Ambiance is nice, service was just okay. Recs/what we tried: - sweet potato fries ($8): 4/5; pretty good, but tasted pretty standard - good for sharing, very filling. - braised pork belly ($13): 2/5; this dish was too oily for my liking, between the pork drenched in a sauce and the toasted bun - portion size was also way too small, and barely came with any meat. - panang curry ($20): 5/5. my friend's favorite that he orders every time; great option for vegetarians. - most of the desserts we've tried here weren't impressive; would skip them. Overall, I'm not sure I'd recommend - I personally didn't find too many things I liked the menu.
