    We worked with BSG through our homebuilder during covid so we had to deal with them over the phone…read more We added prewired surround sound installation with speakers in our living room, patio and upstairs media room. The problems started happening after our house was completed. Red Flag #1:BSG never came out to explain how to use our prewired systems and to check about installation. We had to contact them about instructions and then we were advised to also purchased amplifiers for the speakers to work. So HORRIBLE service if they can't even set up an appointment to go over services they provide for their customer. #2: We ended up setting our audio and amplifier with another audio company and found out they prewired our patio surround sound connection incorrectly. They connected our patio surround sound to our living room. So we called BSG about the issue and after speaking with multiple ppl they said that we wanted it installed that way. WTF? Are you kidding me, my husband and I are fuming because they basically called us liars and logically, why would we want our surround sound patio installation connected to our living room if we purchased prewired installation for our 3 rooms: patio, living room and upstairs media room. That's completely dumb! We called BS on BSG and their excuse was that they have had strange requests from customers. Note: if you have strange requests then there should be documentation and both parties should sign for this request. #3 NO signed documentation from both parties regarding the special request of prewired installation, only what the rep said. Our construction manager with our homebuilder have supported and tried to fight for us to fix the issue. We stated we would pay for additional material if needed but not labor for the installation to be corrected but BSG won't remedy the issue. We are fed up and it's been a nightmare with BSG! HORRIBLE service, LACK of professionalism, communication and transparency. BEWARE and stay completely away! Better luck with other honest audio companies!

The work they performed was sub-par and not to industry standards nor manufacturer specifications. I contacted BSG regarding the below issues and received no response. - Lack of cable support, tension in suspended runs (see above garage and other areas) - Bed radius (cable stress bend) beyond allowed specification - lots of sharp 90 degree bends pulled tight around framing, runs will likely not pass testing. - No service loop - the cable that was re-ran for the back patio security camera extends just a few inches past where it will terminate. - Cable pulled across garage attic at 45 degrees, weight unsupported. Also unnecessarily blocks that area from being used for future attic storage. - Lots of visible knots in data cabling, will cause signal issues

Chris, Jake, Alex, Gavin, Jarod, Randall, Zach... everyone we interacted with at AHS throughout this process has been fantastic. From the initial design conversations, to install, and finally the hand-off and training on the system, you won't beat the level of professionalism here. These guys clearly know their craft and care about their customers! Our home is running on Control4, and while there's a bit of a learning curve at first once you start to understand what it can do it's an incredibly powerful system. Control4 essentially acts as the operating system for your home, allowing you to control lighting, audio, video, pool, climate, security, and more from one interface. So instead of juggling a dozen different random apps, Control4 integrates all of your devices and apps into a single platform so the whole house functions as one cohesive ecosystem. Ultimately, what really made the experience stand out, though, was absolutely the AHS team. Technology is only as good as the people who design and install it, and these guys were knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. Install was clean, the training thorough, and they've held our hand every step of the way. If you're considering a smart home system or anything A/V related, I can't recommend these guys enough... and if you end up working with any of the crew we've had the pleasure of working with, rest assured you're in good hands.

This review is not about Vivint as a whole--it is specifically about the unacceptable conduct of one customer service agent: Megan. Megan attempted to assist me but was unable to resolve my issue. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she placed me on hold for 15 minutes without a single update. It became clear she had no intention of returning to the call, and she simply waited me out until I hung up. That is not customer service--that is avoidance. When I called back, Joy/Julie answered and resolved my issue quickly and professionally. I then spoke with Vanessa, a supervisor, to express both my appreciation for Joy/Julie and my serious concerns about Megan's behavior. Megan demonstrated a lack of professionalism, urgency, and basic courtesy. She either needs significant retraining or may not be suited for a customer‑facing role at all. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect--exactly the way any of us would expect to be treated.

We used this company for over 12 years. Not because we wanted to but because we were hog tied into a contract for 7 of those years. The rest of the years were due to the fact that a tenant at the property required an alarm and this one was already installed so .. here we are. The tenant recently notified us that they will not be renewing the lease so, now we are free to cancel this service. My process for canceling the service took nearly an hour, included multiple employees, multiple hang ups and chat "disappearances". When I was finally able to get to an employee who would stop offering "offers" and finally allow us to cancel .. it turns out you don't even need to contact them via phone. Simply send an email to DOCUMENTS@VIVINT.COM. In the body of the email reference 1) your account number, 2) the service address and 3) the reason for cancellation. This will trigger a 30 day cancelation process. Now, to be fair, we are only day 1 into this process so, I fully expect more problems before we are released from this albatross of a company. Read the reviews. This company is a problem.

Patrick answered when I called for service. It was down to Central Security and another home security company. Patrick explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I was very appreciative of this because this was my first time owning a home security alarm system. I really love that since this would be my first time, there's no contact. I love that they believe in earning your business instead of being nice upfront and then not having to work to keep your business, because you're trapped in a contract. I signed up with Central Security and paid for my equipment upfront and my cameras. I just pay monthly for the active monitoring. One time after I was approached by another company a few momths after I been with Central Security, I called Patrick and let him know and he let me know he value my business and gave me a fair renegotiation on my monthly fee. The next month I bought another camera and has then install it. I'm also happy to report that the alarm does work I had a false alarm when I was away in away on a windy night and the wind push a an unlocked door open. The police ended showing up and the security center did call. Unfortunately I was sleeping at the time, but it was reassuring to know that the system really does work! I highly recommend Central Security. I've had excellent service, when they came to install the system they were punctual professional and fairly quick. This is the best deal in town with the fairest prices!
