They said I would have to have some type of exam so she could see if she could do it in office or out of office. I agreed. So I went in I once again told them when I checked in about the skin tags when I finally got into the office and she saw me which was still a while I told her again about the skin tags and why I wanted them very moved and twice while she was examining and the first part of the exam I told her I wanted the skin tax removed. She did a full you know eye exam test my vision everything was great then I thought she was going to come back and remove the tags and she comes back to dilate my eyes and the forms me that it's going to be three more tests we are an hour and a half in and she's not removing skin tags no referral and then walks out and tells me to go to sleep for a while and I tear that does not recline. Long story short, the vision insurance sucked bad so I canceled it and went back to Affinity where I pay out-of-pocket (note, they do accept insurance, but they just weren't covered on my terrible/obscure vision plan). ANYWHO, the office is lovely. Feels almost "posh" when you're in the waiting room. The front dest staff are friendly and personable and the doctors are kind and knowledgable. The equipment is all new, nice, and properly functioning (because I've totally been to places with the fancy new equipment....but it doesn't work so they still rely on archaic methods for assessing vision). The only thing I don't like is how they REALLY try to make you buy your lenses/contacts from them. Honestly, though, that's how all vision places seem to be so I guess that's the norm - must be where the real money is in the business. But they're nice enough. I always decline their lenses/frames and just take my prescription to Costco (cheapest in town - even cheaper than the online sites!) Moral of the story - I'm happy to be back as a customer at Affinity! I'll never stray again!
