    AWESOME! I was searching for a primary care physician who would grow with me and help me manage my health with grace. I am very pleased to find Dr. Helen Mitropoulos at Optum. She is the antidote to years seeing a doctor who fed into my health anxiety. Dr. Mitropoulos was clear, compassionate and honest with me. I felt she came from a real place and from her own life experience as well as medical expertise. Thank you to the whole staff, from reception thru booking my follow up, it was seamless and made me feel welcome. It's cool to finish with the appointment and think to myself: that was nice, I feel cared for.

So thanks a bunch there Adventist. 2. I did file a grievance with Health Net. As soon as Health Net contacted the practice, just like magic, my phone started ringing and NOW I was getting follow up phone calls from the office staff. 3. Magically refills of my medications were sent to CVS- shocker. 4. These people straight up LIED to Health Net saying they did contact me about their new policy and that I needed to come in person to see the doctor to refill my medications, THIS IS FALSE. I called and left multiple messages and wrote on the online portal, and not until I actually contacted my insurance did this office do anything. I have dates and timestamps.. this office is not getting one over me. I have my proof. So honestly, spare yourselves from Adventist and this medical group. They can lie all they want, but I work in compliance and mental health care and this is complete FRAUD!

They're just trying to act like they care to save face. Had an incredibly frustrating experience with Dr Dastas office. They're so hard to get a hold of and after two weeks of waiting and attempting to contact them after my appointment I found out they ran the WRONG TEST. And when I told them it was wrong they insisted it wasn't and that it was "the same thing" as what I requested- I knew that was NOT the case but decided to verify by googling it and a SIMPLE GOOGLE SEARCH proved them WRONG! A complete waste of time and money! Impossible to get ahold of and incredibly incompetent staff. I'll definitely be disputing ANY charge they attempt with my insurance and will be reporting them to my insurance and whatever other entity I can because this is NOT acceptable! Honestly if they had just been more responsive early on I wouldn't be this riled up but since they kept me waiting for TWO WEEKS and I was unable to get ahold of them I'm so riled up. I'll be doing my research (something they're clearly unable to do) and reporting them to my insurance by filing a grievance and reporting them to whoever else I can. LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS! I wish I did but I didn't and am now paying the price!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Oh and while I'm at it, the MA had LONG nails and wasn't wearing gloves which I'm pretty sure goes against CDC guidelines?! How gross! Such a risk to patient health! Moreover when I was in the office undressed for my test and on the bed the Dr had ZERO regard for my privacy and just opened the door wide open without any respect to me as a patient and in a vulnerable position. I was shocked by that as other doctors are always so careful when there's an undressed patient and they're opening and closing the door meanwhile Dr Dasta just opens it wide open as though it's no big deal even though there were people (including men) in the hallway! Was initially willing to overlook the long nails of the MA and this lack of respect by the DR but after the terrible experience with them I'm no longer willing to overlook this.

My daughter had her sports physical on February 27, 2026, for cheerleading and needed a sports clearance form completed. Despite having already attended and paid for the physical examination, I was made to wait nearly two hours today just to have paperwork signed. To make matters worse, the office attempted to charge an additional copay simply for completing and signing the sports clearance form, even though the physical had already been performed during the February visit. This is not the first time I have experienced significant delays with paperwork from this office. Last year, I emailed my daughter's medical clearance form on May 30, 2025, and did not receive the completed form back until June 24, 2025--almost a month later. For families with children in sports, these delays can jeopardize participation and create unnecessary stress. I also question the value of the care provided. My children were seen for less than 20 minutes for two physical exams, yet the insurance was billed for the visits. Meanwhile, obtaining the required sports clearance paperwork became a lengthy and frustrating process. The lack of responsiveness, poor customer service, excessive wait times, and difficulty obtaining simple medical forms demonstrate a disappointing standard of care. Families should not have to spend hours waiting or repeatedly follow up for paperwork that is necessary for their children's activities. I do want to acknowledge the front office staff--Denise, Nelly, Ivette, and Leslie--who were all very sweet and professional throughout my interactions. The issues I experienced were not their fault, and they did their best to help despite the circumstances. I would also like to note that the only reason I was not charged an additional copay was because I repeatedly asked what my daughter was actually going to be seen for, and no one could give me an answer. My daughter was taken into a room, where a nurse checked her blood pressure and asked a few questions. She was in the room for less than five minutes, and Dr. Tabrizi never even saw her. Unfortunately, my concerns are with the doctor and the overall management of the office, which I found to be extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office to families who need timely communication, efficient paperwork processing, and attentive customer service.

After I went to the hospital for stomach pain and came in to review my cat scan, they were at a loss for what could've caused the pain. There was really no follow up or treatment plan suggested. I also recently called when I was super sick and asked if I could come in and get tested for strep and mono and they said they don't do that there and to go to an urgent care. I'm very confused by a doctor's office that doesn't have the basic tests available to diagnose illnesses - It seems like this would be an integral part of the job. The last thing Is that they told me they could do an in-house breast ultra sound with their technician because I had had some irregular results in the past and didn't want to go all the way to Beverly Hills to see my regular breast doctor. But, I never received the results from this. While the bedside manner is lovely, the actual execution of effective medicine is yet to be seen.

Dr suk became our physician when we came to usc verdugo hills hospital for her hip surgery. (Because she got a hip fracture) After her surgery, doctor suk recommended us to put her at la crescenta hills nursing home and she got really sick there... she had to come back to usc verdugo through ER. She came here on 25th of June 2021, placed at ICU(intensive care unit) for 5days. During theses days and even now I NEVER SAW Dr.Suk. After 5days at ICU( intensive care unit) Doctor rajiv Philip (head of ICU doctor) and doctor suk(over the phone) said since my grandma's condition got better we can move back to regular unit. That was on 30th of June. When i visited her 1st of july, her condition was really good. All her Doctors said she was doing very well and we only have few days to go back home with her. On 2nd of July she was diagnosed as pneumonia. Doctor suk now is on Fourth of July trip so we can't get connect to him. He just sends dr haimakyan who doesn't think my grandma will live long enough.. who has no passion for a poor patient..who is only filling hours for dr.suk. and you know what i just found out.. Right next to my grandma's regular unit 507, a NEW patient who is having bad pneumonia was at right next door (regular unit #509) #509 woman who was diagnosed as pneumonia keeps coughing. she has no mask on nor her room door is closed... my grandma..is throwing up blood now... really... if you are a doctor.. could you please help? Overall Dr.suk has NO PASSION for his patient. Really.. as a Korean, I'm shamed that this kind of doctor exist in the states and represents as a Korean doctor. Don't waste a time to get doctor suk. I have recently done a lab exam and just needed to know results. I called and asked for appointment it was for 5 weeks later so I asked them to just tell me results over phone. Receptionist looked and said everything is OK, although I do not know if she is qualified to do that. First they had me read off all the information on my insurance card three times, spell my name twice, then promise to call me back and schedule an appointment AFTER they verified my insurance information. Of course they didn't so two days later I call them back and after waiting on the silent hold for fifteen minutes--seriously, I thought I'd been disconnected--the next moron tells me she can't set up an appointment because the doctor needs to do it personally. Like, whaaaaat? They promised me he'd call me back but I knew immediately he was never going to do that. It was obvious they just don't want to take any new patients and instead of saying that proceed to take you on a ride, doing donuts in the parking lot and hoping you go away. Which I did. I called the insurance company and lodged a complaint and they transferred me to another doctor. Beware this guy. Any 'doctor' that behaves like this should be in front of a board defending their license.
