My experience with the front desk staff, specifically Nairi, was extremely disappointing. From my…read morevery first interaction, she was rude, dismissive, and spoke to me with an attitude. Instead of making the process smoother, every interaction felt unnecessarily difficult and stressful. What bothered me most were the judgmental comments she made, which were completely inappropriate in a medical office. As a patient already dealing with the anxiety and uncertainty that can come with seeing a cardiologist, compassion and professionalism are incredibly important. Unfortunately, I felt neither. Every phone call and visit left me feeling more stressed than reassured. Rather than helping resolve issues, I felt like I encountered unnecessary obstacles at every step. The front desk is the first point of contact for patients, and the way people are treated there can have a huge impact on their overall experience. I sincerely hope the office addresses this because patients seeking cardiac care deserve to be treated with kindness, respect, and empathy during what is often a very vulnerable time.

The "Hold" Deception and Blatant Dishonesty When we were lost trying to find your office, I called for directions. The receptionist told me, "Someone is ahead of you, I'm putting you on hold." I stayed on that line as I navigated my mother into the building. When I finally reached the front desk, the clerk had the audacity to snap at me, "YOU GUYS ARE LATE!" She didn't realize I was smarter than her games. I turned on my speakerphone right there at the desk--I was still on hold. I stood there watching her ignore the phone while she sat and chatted with two other employees. She wasn't busy; she was just being lazy and dishonest. The look of shock on her face when she realized I caught her in a lie said everything. Conflicting Instructions and Disregard for the Doctor After our appointment, Dr. Harry Balian specifically told us to wait for an EKG. When I asked the staff for the room number, I was met with total incompetence. One person pointed to a vacant room, while another dismissively told me, "No, you just need to come back." When I insisted that the doctor told us to wait, her response was insulting: "Dr. Balian doesn't know our schedule; you need to come back." It is mind-boggling that your staff thinks they have the authority to override a cardiologist's medical orders for an 85-year-old patient. Health Risks and Discrimination To make matters worse, while we were being forced to reschedule, a staff member was coughing violently without a mask and without even covering her mouth. This is the same office that texted me warning about "viruses spreading" and restricting visitors to "avoid contamination." The hypocrisy is staggering. You treat us like a "contamination risk" while your own staff openly coughs on patients without a single "sorry" or a mask in sight. Closing Statement We felt targeted and discriminated against from the moment we walked in. These women have no manners, no professional ethics, and absolutely no respect for the reputation of a talented physician like Dr. Balian. Their behavior is a liability to this practice and a danger to the elderly patients they are supposed to serve. Now i know why they only get 1 STAR..WE NEVER CAME BACK

I have been frequenting this place for a few years now-- and it is finally time for me to give this…read moreplace a review, because it is long overdue. First off, the staff is very friendly, as you feel the warmth-- the minute you step foot to the office. Warm greeting with a smile-- that is my place-- because my running nose or my high blood pressure already got an assuaging remedy before the much needed medical one. This place also makes great accommodations. I work in the valley and because of the long commute, I get to my appointments around 6pm when they are about to close and go home. Yet I still get the same worm greeting at the door every time and the doctor after a long day work still sees me without a hitch. Arsine and David are so efficient and professional, great nursing staff. Dr. Baltayan is a delight to see and deal with in addition to being a great doctor. Her knowledge is astounding, diagnosis is always on point. She is very humble for a doctor, which makes communication comfortable. I have had other family doctors, who would see me for couple of minutes and move on to the next patient. But in this Office, the doctor listens to you and after diagnosing you, asks if you have any further questions and answers you questions. You are not just a number to them but you become part of the great family Dr. Baltayan and her great staff care for and treat without discrimination to race, creed or color of skin. The cherry on the cake is, when I walk in there, I see patients from all walks of life and races -- a true representation of our multi-cultured community. I truly look forward to going to my doctor's appointments, because they go out of their way to make my visit as smooth and pleasant as humanly possible. Many thanks to the peerless Dr. Baltayan and your wonderful and dedicated staff!
