I have been frequenting this place for a few years now-- and it is finally time for me to give this place a review, because it is long overdue. First off, the staff is very friendly, as you feel the warmth-- the minute you step foot to the office. Warm greeting with a smile-- that is my place-- because my running nose or my high blood pressure already got an assuaging remedy before the much needed medical one. This place also makes great accommodations. I work in the valley and because of the long commute, I get to my appointments around 6pm when they are about to close and go home. Yet I still get the same worm greeting at the door every time and the doctor after a long day work still sees me without a hitch. Arsine and David are so efficient and professional, great nursing staff. Dr. Baltayan is a delight to see and deal with in addition to being a great doctor. Her knowledge is astounding, diagnosis is always on point. She is very humble for a doctor, which makes communication comfortable. I have had other family doctors, who would see me for couple of minutes and move on to the next patient. But in this Office, the doctor listens to you and after diagnosing you, asks if you have any further questions and answers you questions. You are not just a number to them but you become part of the great family Dr. Baltayan and her great staff care for and treat without discrimination to race, creed or color of skin. The cherry on the cake is, when I walk in there, I see patients from all walks of life and races -- a true representation of our multi-cultured community. I truly look forward to going to my doctor's appointments, because they go out of their way to make my visit as smooth and pleasant as humanly possible. I wanted to give this Doctor a chance as my health insurance recommended her as my little ones pediatrician. For starters it's hard to get a hold of anyone on the phone no matter what office of hers you call. The receptionist gives you an attitude (she works at both locations). No matter which one of her offices you go to (she has two), there is always a crowded waiting room. There will literally be people standing and hovering over you. The offices don't seem very clean and the furniture is literally taped because it's ripped and falling apart. Our first visit was at this office off of Foothill. That day we waited a hour and a half past our appointment time because the Dr was running late. Fast forward to today January 23 2025 there was no notice that this particular office in Reseda would be closed. No call to her patients, no email, nothing. I literally came because my little one is sick and we needed a last minute check up. This is super unprofessional but what was I expecting when the first visit wasn't very professional either. read more

Horrible doctor! Horrible job! You make an appointment at one time, God willing you get in within at least an hour, but we sit for 2 hours each time! He just doesn't listen, doesn't remember anything, and sends you away very quickly. A lot of people make an appointment at one time. For children, without tests, without anything, he immediately prescribes an antibiotic!!!! How is it possible to immediately prescribe an antibiotic to a child without tests, and this every time. THE ABSOLUTE WORST place to be a patient. I made an appointment and took the time off of work, got to my appointment 15 minutes early like they requested, and waited 45 minutes PAST MY APPOINTMENT TIME to be seen, only for them to tell me I had to come back another day. I said, "No, I live 40 minutes from here and took an entire day off of work to come here. I need to be seen today." They said the doctor was leaving for the rest of the day. Why would you schedule a patient and then decide, oh I have to leave? Never the less I was seen that day and upon actually getting to speak to the doctor, she was constantly letting people barge in on me speaking to her, she was yelling at people, taking phone calls and arguing with people, and seemed to quite honestly care less for anything that I had to say about my health issues. I then told her I needed a prescription for a condition I had been previously diagnosed with and I told her I don't remember the name of the medication and she said I needed to know it so she could write me a prescription. Is that not what the doctor is for? She told me she would have the prescription sent over the my pharmacy of choice and assured me it would be sent the same day. I waited for FOUR HOURS at my pharmacy and was calling her office every thirty minutes to see if it had been sent over. During this series of calls her staff hung up on me as I was speaking to them and deliberately ignored my calls. I later requested to be referred to a ENT and have yet to hear back. Where do I begin? Grab some popcorn or open a bottle of wine..... Here we go... Practice opens at 9:30. I get there at 9:30 (my appointment is 10 and I want to be early in hopes of getting in early and getting out early) Umm....that didn't happen. I left at 12:00.. I walk in, sit down in the waiting area. First thing I notice is how FILTHY the floors are and its only the start of the day which means floors were not cleaned when they opened or the day before.... Not being picky but this is a place that's expected to be clean...I see black dirt (definitely from a few days), foot prints, dust bunnies (obviously from a few days). The chairs have dirt and hair all over it.... I get called in and sent to a room...the first thing I notice is the trash is full.....Hmm...didnt you just open? And the trash is full to the top? So I now assume these people don't clean...eww. So Im waiting for the doctor....actually everyone is waiting...all 15 of us....... It's 10:15..no dr.....10:30...no dr......10:45 no dr........she finally decides to join us at 10:50...She walked in dressed like she was vacationing in the Hamptons.... She decides to come to the room at 11:25 am....at this point I wanted to leave 1. because she has no consideration for people's time or the fact that we may have other things to do that day or other appointments to get to and that's why we call ahead of time and make an appointment...otherwise I would've just walked in dont you think? 2. at the way this office was run because it was so unprofessional...Room FULL and I mean FULLLLLL of people and no rooms to put them in, people loud and yelling across the rooms to eachother ...I dont' work in the medical field but I assume staff wearing sandals is not allowed? Especially when it's a place where there are needles and blood is drawn? This is NOT a doctors office...this was a business and she's hungry for money... I was there for a blood test only. She wanted to do extra things probably to charge more..So as the DR is talking to me she says she wants me to have an EKG (which I shouldve refused) so the girl takes me to another room and does an EKG...she takes the results and says she will show the Dr...she comes back and says the Dr. wants to get an authorization for a cardiologist...ummmm where is the Dr? Doesnt she want to go over the results with me? Explain her concerns? Ohhh...the Dr is already in another room with the next patient....That was the last straw for this sorry excuse of a doctors office or "doctor" So....something as important as my heart...you dont want to discuss it with me? Express what concerned you so much that you want to send me to a cardiologist? Should I be worried? Is it something urgent? What did the results mean? Are there any activities I should avoid? Food? Coffee? All caffeine? Is there something I should do to prevent something..? Am I causing it? I don't know....I don't know anything because she didn't even bother to see me after I was sent to do the EKG. Can you believe she went in with the next patient????.I dont know about you but that right there proved that this is only a place of business and she probably receives something for referring patients out....I dont know how she practices and how she has patients..this place is a joke and that Dr is a WHACK! And she will lie straight in your face! I wouldnt waste my time here and I will NEVER RETURN and I will tell everyone about my experience. By 12 there were already 20 people there..By 5 she probably sees 60..How can you be a good dr and see that many people and actually put time with them? Save your time and go somewhere decent to a person that became a dr for the right reasons.... Deserves no stars. Asking your friends and family to give you the fake 5 star reviews won't help you... Karma is a bit@h! I can't imagine giving someone unnecessary stress and anxiety worrying about their heart and not being able to sleep because you want to make some extra money... Shame on you. My dad has been diagnosed with COVID-19. He was emitted to the emergency room Sunday night because he was having trouble breathing, back pain, severe coughing and a really high fever. The hospital discharged him, giving him some prescriptions for antibiotics and steroids, and they told him to follow up with his PCP. He woke up around 3am with a really high fever, we did some at home fever remedies, because we didn't know if it was okay for him to take the meds the hospital prescribed him. (He has a bad liver, so he can't take most medications.) We waited until the office hours to contact his PCP. We contacted his PCP (Lilit Baltanian) to see what I should do in regards to his fever and if he should take the medicine prescribed to him at the hospital. My mom spoke to her front office staff Olivia and let her know that it was urgent that the doctor receive the call. Olivia told my mom that Dr. Baltanian was with a patient and that the doctor would get back to us when she was available. We waited patiently, still with my dad battling a high fever and relying on teas, and some holistic medical approaches. Wednesday came around and again we called Dr. Baltanian, to which Olivia, again told us that the doctor was with a patient and would get back to us as soon as she was available...Again no call back. Thursday came around and this time we spoke to Ilene, she told us that the doctor was super busy with patients, and that they would take our number down and call us back when she got the chance. We told Ilene that my dad had been with an on and off again high fever since Monday, and that he did not want to go back to the ER, because all they would do is give him medication that would be harmful to him because of his other medical condition. Ilene told us that the doctor attends to the patients that are in the office first and then gets back to patients who call and leave messages, she said that's all she could do. She also mentioned that Olivia had not given the doctor our initial, or second message until that (Thursday) morning. I let Ilene know that it had been since Monday that we had not received a call from the doctor, and that we were told by Olivia that the doctor would contact us Monday. I told Ilene that if something happened to my dad, it would be on Dr. Baltanian, because she is my dad's PCP, and we tried contacting her several times, and she could not take a minute to contact us.... and guess what?? The doctor called us back minutes later after that last call. When on the phone with her she was talking very fast, rushing through the call, said that she would prescribe something else to my dad and ended the call. She doesn't genuinely care about her patients. It's all about the $$$ with this doctor. read more

Possibly the worst establishment I have ever walked into. This place is disorganized at its best. I had to come back 4 times just so I could explain to them a simple step in filling out my paperwork when it was their job. The best part: The doctor is so rude. My family is in the medical industry so I have been around professionals my whole life. This place was just down-right ridiculous. I was scared for my life at one point because one of the nurses didn't realize they were giving me the wrong shot on the wrong arm. To top it all off, the other nurses were bad-mouthing this nurse instead of helping. It was such a disgusting thing to see. The lack of teamwork and overall lack of empathy. Extremely disappointing experience. On my first visit, I waited for a very long time in a waiting room with far too many patients. Very little COVID-19 modifications and precautions were taken. The nurse made a few inappropriate remarks when asking questions regarding gender/sexuality. Then, visit w/ doctor was very rushed. She made me feel extremely judged and her tone was very condescending. Condescending attitude continued in following emails and phone calls. Upon getting my blood drawn, people walked in and out of the room, including a patient who was not wearing a mask. During this same visit, staff members made rude remarks about a patient to me. I would strongly recommend that people seek medical attention elsewhere if they want an empathetic, supportive, and person-centered healthcare experience. read more

With what little insurance options I have, this is why I come here - believe me, I'd love to go almost anywhere else. I try to come here as least as possible and only if it's absolutely necessary. The parking lot is small and most of the spaces are reserved for other businesses. One of the things that bothers me the most is that they DO NOT HONOR THEIR APPOINTMENTS!!!!!! Literally, every single time I come here with an appointment, I'm waiting for several hours. I've spoken to the front about this a few times and the response I've always gotten was that they're on a first come, first serve basis (which trust me, the verbiage they used was very rude) - so basically, if you have an appointment, it doesn't matter. I can also obviously see that they only do things for the money. I came in for one reason (to get a referral to have a surgery on my wrist), and then they want to do all this extra stuff - blood work, Pap smear, etc. The reason why is so they can then bill insurance for more money. When I told them I refused, the male nurse (can never remember his name), was very rude to me and the tone of his voice was almost yelling. So unprofessional. They get one star though because when I needed some disability forms signed for my job, I knew they'd do that really fast, no questions asked because they're so money hungry. read more

WORST DOCTORS OFFICE EVER... First, I checked in they gave me the usual forms to fill out. I filled out and gave them back, a few minutes later they called me to the front desk and blamed me for my handwriting. I wanted to walk out but I had already taken the day off so it was waste of time. The nurse took me in half an hour later, she was sweet but she sat me in a room with ANOTHER PATIENT!! They asked me questions while prescribing a diagnostic test to the other patient. Literally NO CONFIDENTIALITY. Then they took me to another room for EKG but why?!?! Was that really necessary?? Anyways, I finally got to see the doctor with the doors open of course. She never asked me why I'm there. I told her I have PCOS and need to see a specialist. She asked me for my insurance card and showed me the MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES phone number in the back!! Wtf?! She didn't even know what I'm talking about... I told her I need to see an Ob-GYN, she completely ignored me. I asked for birth controls, she ignored me again. She acted like she doesn't have time for me. I came out, another patient went in. I told the nurse I needed birth controls, she sent me in again and the doctor prescribed me 4 refills IN FRONT OF THE OTHER PATIENT. I came out and talked to the nurse about the authorization to see a specialist, she said I need to talk to the front desk girls. I liked the doctor , she tried processing referrals but I still had obstacles, wrong area, wrong PT office , there may have been a language/communication barrier . I have to agree her front office staff left me with a terrible taste in my mouth. You see a PCare MD is your starting point to your care , while the doc , her phlebotomy back office guy was nice & efficient but the front office left me with the same bad taste as other reviewers . Rude, dismissive & could care less if I left her practice- she's about to get 1,000 more valley patients w the IPA closing but she didn't take any of IPA's the current specialists I've fought so hard to get! I chose my specialists over the PC. I just started receving care from these and i've been treated w care & compassion- however not by this Mds's front office staff. The Specialists staff was more than willing to help me & the new PC MD scheduled me before i'm officially on their network roster to beat the rush in February. Honestly... I was expecting a terrible experience because of all the bad reviews. But I had the opposite. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. The staff were really sweet. The doctor spent about 45 minutes with me and was really thorough and kind. She seemed to know what she was doing and she made me feel really comfortable. I had a good experience here. I'll be back. Update: My appointment time was 3:30. I got here at 3:10. It is now 5:02 PM and I still haven't seen the doctor. I got my labs done over 3 weeks ago, still haven't heard the results, either. Those agencies would then file claims for reimbursement with Medicare for services that were either not necessary or were never provided, prosecutors said. Baltaian would receive cash benefits from the home health agencies for the referrals, prosecutors alleged. She also submitted her own claims for reimbursement to Medicare for certifications and for patient visits and injections that were not provided, they said. The doctor faces four charges of health care fraud and could receive a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison if convicted on all counts. About a year ago I had moved into a different city, This meant I had to enroll both my kids into two separate schools. Every parent knows that when you change schools, you MUST provide accurate vaccinations for your kids ESP when moving from LAUSD into another district. I called to set up an appointment and just said we needed to make sure they (both kids) were up to date on their vaccinations because the schools requested this of me. (MIND YOU - I had just moved and was on a time crunch to get the kids enrolled so I didn't have the copies of the cards on hand) I figured the Dr.'s office should be responsible enough to keep that info...THEY'RE THE DOCTORS OFFICE right?????? I drive across town to get to their appointment - Had trouble signing in (Should have been the first red flag) due to the fact that they didn't have ANY of my son's info in their "system". Fast forward to when we are actually in one of the patient rooms. Dr. walks in and starts to ask why I haven't brought them in for updated vaccinations. She stated she didn't have ANY records for them whatsoever. She was extremely insistent that I had not been into the office for checkups in a while (which was NOT true but because I don't keep track of the 1 or two times I bring the kids in I had nothing but my word to back this up on) I'm extremely blessed to have both my kids be healthy and rarely need to take them in for Dr. visits when it comes to colds or minor coughs and such. In the disgust I had, embarrassment she made me feel at that time only increased my want to get out of there ASAP. I came to a point where I asked her to just get my kids the basic vaccinations schools need in order to admit them into school (School had started the very next week) She then says she's not familiar with the school district and proceeds to tell me I have to call them and get that info. I'm fuming at this point, so I get on the phone and finally get a hold of the offices and get the list of shots they need. I'm sitting there, waiting for the nurse to get the vaccines ready and he can see the anxiousness and frustration in my face. That person leans over and says to me quietly "Just so you know I'm pretty sure if they don't have any of your kids info in the system OR vaccines it's because our system was hacked into a few months back so we lost all that information" MY JAW DROPPED!! I'm currently in the process of seeing what I can do to file a complaint, I understand that this was some time ago but in seeing all the other reviews of this Dr. and reading how I am not the only person who has come across this malpractice ...This type of Dr. SHOULD not be handling medical service ESP for children! NOT to mention the fact that she NEVER DISCLOSED TO ME AS A PATIENT that my kids information was compromised!!! No phone call, No letter NO NOTHING. This is VERY irresponsible for ANY business!! I know there are some good reviews on here, and yesterday I may have even written one. Sadly, after today I will be looking for a new doctor. My husband and daughter didn't care for her, but I defended her (even after she almost gave my son the wrong vaccine). Now I feel silly. For starters, I had an appointment for 10:45 and didn't get out until 1:45. I expected to wait, but 3 hours is a bit excessive for 2 shots. Next, she told my (very slim) daughter that she needed to exercise more. I explained that she dances several times a week and does sports but she told her to do more. That was okay -- exercise is good, but it seemed like no amount would be good enough for her. She also asked if she stresses out sometimes (we were there for shots and my daughter has a terrible needle phobia). I said, "yes," as she is a teenager after all. She told her to relax. Then I voiced some concerns about my son who was not there. She said he was just overreacting. Again, he wasn't there to inspect, yet my concerns were unfounded. She suggested that he also needed to calm down. I wasn't thrilled with her being so dismissive, but it wasn't anything compared to what she said next. She told me that both my kids needed to relax and she, "usually find(s) it comes from the parents -- something at home. They create a stressful environment." I started to say something about kids being concerned about little things and she cuts me off and says, "It's okay. You don't have to." As though I was about to justify why my husband and I are terrible, stressful people!! So, cool, we are bad parents and my son has no health issues. I have a feeling we will all be much more relaxed with another doctor who is less accusatory and less dismissive. It is probably worth mentioning that we have only had a few visits with her and she doesn't really know us. Also, our visit began with her yelling at her staff for not providing her with test results which turned out to be on her computer the whole time. Horrible experience the front desk are very rude! My son had to go in for a follow up cause of his asthma and also get some lab results! But tell me why 3 people who came after me where called up? And coincidentally it was their same race? Another hispanic person told shes been in there for over 3hrs waiting to get called and they kept skipping her finally almost 3hrs of not being called i went up and asked why haven't i been called up and the front desk girl all she said was your next? The first time I came here I was waiting to see the doctor for a little over 2 hours. It wasn't even incredibly busy to warrant that long of a wait. The staff is a little bit hard to understand with their heavy accents which is okay in person but on the phone if is very difficult. The doctor is very nice and does take the time to listen to you but she is also stuck in her ways. I have 4 slipped discs in my back from a car accident and she did refer me to pain management which was nice but she also didn't want to really treat me for it. I told her 800 mg ibuprofen don't work for the pain but she refused to prescribe me anything stronger. I wasn't there searching for pills, just some relief from the pain. I already suffer from depression and anxiety so the back pain was certainly not helping those. She just kept saying "You're too young to have these problems and to be taking pills." I agree, I absolutely hate taking pills and to be in pain but it's not like I asked to be rear-ended on the freeway at 65 mph. As for the pills, I was willing to work with her but she wasn't willing to work with me. read more
