We were remodeling our church and had some carpet squares donated to replace our old, worn out carpet. The installers we had lined up were unable to lay the carpet at the last minute so we needed to find someone to do the work for us. Dave at Option One was recommended by another church member, having done some work for them. After talking with Dave, we went ahead and had his team install the carpet. They were a blessing! Dave gave us a very reasonable quote and his team started the work the next day. They installed the 1900 square feet of carpet tiles in less than two days! They were very efficient and even did some extra work like trimming a section of our old carpet to fit the stage. The job looks fabulous! We also wanted to put in some vinyl baseboard and they agreed to install that as well as part of the quote, but it had not arrived by the time they were done with the carpet. I'm writing this review because I believe that reviews help consumers make well informed decisions. I refinanced my home and asked my lender to send me a good pest control company. This is required by the VA if you want to refinance. The next morning the option one technician shows up well dressed and very polite. He explained that he would start outside then come in. He did. He checked the kitchen area first then processed upstairs to the attic. While there he found some dry wood termites. He told me what he found, then called his boss for pricing. After a few minutes his boss called him back and told him it would be $395.00 which includes the inspection fee. He then told me that he couldn't give me a receipt. I then immediately called my lender to ask her what kind of company she sent. I told him I didn't give money to people I don't know. He explained that the home inspection report along with a receipt would be emailed to me. We will see what becomes of this. read more
