I Have used Accuracy Plus for years. I had a bird mite infestation that they were able to clear. They also were proactive and advised me to install bird barriers to prevent future infestations. I'm reading harsh reviews below, but my experience so far has been very good and professional. A gentleman named Joe Orcales showed up at my place. He did a thorough inspection of the premises (for termites). He suggested two treatment options. He patiently answered all my questions (and I tend to have a lot). He then gave me a quote on site, and it was very competitive. A few weeks later, they came back to inspect other units in the HOA. All the inspections were free. We elected to go forward. On the day of, the crew showed up on time. The work took longer than they thought, so they had to return the next day. No problem; all the work was done outside anyway. Here's the nice bonus, though. I ended up doing some work in my unit. This meant that whatever section of they wall they previously treated had to be removed and replaced with new material. In other words, it wouldn't repel termites anymore. I called Accuracy Plus and John (the CEO) accepted to send someone back to treat the section for free. And that was done on a very short notice (less than a day). So we will see if the tech shows up tomorrow at the agreed upon time, but great service so far. ================== A technician named Jose stopped by on time (a little early even). Nicest guys ever. This company and their product is excellent. Not only was it fast and easy to apply, the fact that we and our dogs could safely stay home during the process is great. John gave me the estimate. He could do more than the other companies I had talked to. I had some wood damage in my house framing. He said it was no problem while other places seemed like it was too much for them. Great experience with these guys :) very pleased. The inspector was great (Patrick). He explained everything I needed to know about the different types of termites and then explained the different options. I liked him too cuz he doesn't pressure like the other guys. He was very thorough and polite. He explained that everyone got the gas at the same price and so pricing should be comparable to each other. If there was too much of a discrepancy, the companies were either over-charging or not using enough gas as they should be. I went with these guys cuz they made me feel the most comfortable. I had an estimate done and it was suggested that I get the Green Treatment. It all looked good on paper. We even called their reference list, which by the way was a little out of date, and got one good response. John Claypool, the owner, was very pleasant. We thought, this is the place to go! We thought since they would be drilling many holes into our house to give this treatment, that we should also insulate at the same time. He said they would do that. Well he never came back with an answer, but didn't fail to provide an estimate for what HEwanted to do. It is almost a month later. If he doesn't respond when he is looking for clients, do you think he will honor your concerns after you hire him? I DON'T THINK SO. Oh, by the way, before leaving me after the estimate (and before the work was done) he asked me to give him a 5 star review on yelp. Neither time has this called been returned. If infestations of wood-destroying pests extend or exist beyond the area(s)of local treatment, they may not be exterminated." Primary method (ie. fumigation or heat method) is recommended in situations where termites appear to be leading into inaccessible areas. Accuracy Plus will not take responsibility for fumigation if owner of property or agent chooses to treat the property with this local treatment method considered substandard and secondary. However since I didn't want the gas and wasn't thrilled with having to vacate the home I chose this method. John was very professional and knowledgeable. John Claypool and his team were fantastic, they went above and beyond to make sure that they treated every aspect of my home including underneath my house, in both of my attics and along the whole perimeter. They also patched and painted everything, replaced my damaged eaves, and literally made the treatment invisible as if it were never treated. Tried all the phone numbers, sent emails, no responses at all. Could not get thru on any of the phone numbers. After over a month I found Pacific Coast Termite in Orange. These guys did the termite inspection for our escrow noting only small and old termite damage in the report. Less than a year later we notice termite droppings coming out of our hardwood floor. The warranty on the report says it is good for a year but after calling they told us the warranty only covers any repairs they made and not the inspection itself. Convenient for them since an additional termite inspection told us that our house is completely infested and the damage is extensive enough that the termites have been there for a number of years. I think these guys mainly do quick cover up jobs for real estate agents. Don't trust them because they don't stand behind their guarantee. read more

We had some issues in our patio and saw termite droppings under the patio cover. We were told by another company that they had to remove and replace the entire patio cover, which was BIG BUCK$$! Accuracy Plus was recommended to us by a neighbor and we gave them a call to get a second opinion. The staff at their call center were very friendly and helpful with setting up an appointment. I am a busy guy so I am rarely at home. The technicians called me with a 30 minutes heads up, which I requested. No 2-3 hour window of time, where you are stock waiting for techs at all. The techs were very nice and friendly, spoke English, and knew exactly what they were doing. They were in and out of the place pretty quick and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. They treated the patio cover and saved me a lot of money! it's been about a year now and I have not seen any more termite droppings since then. Yep, horrible experience. They will come inspect your house on the yearly contract and tell you everything looks great. Then you hire a company that is actually good and that company will tell you that Accuracy Plus doesnt follow regulations or best practices. Just really an all out bad experience, from the tenting company they sub contracted that drilled holes in my window frames (so that they could place screws in them to prevent the windows from being opened while the tent was in place instead of using cut blocks of wood or another non destructive method to keep windows open), so their refusal to deal with the damage done by this sub contractor, to the ineffective and faulty assessment of termite damage, infestation, etc. every year they come out, so the inexperienced technicians they sent out to apply Bora-Care resulting in my entire metal shop setup in my garage getting coated in a layer of sticky and rust causing residue, to calling the main line and getting a "This mailbox is full, sorry, click" message on more than one occasion. I found them on Angie's list with a very high rating, which clearly makes Angies list worth its weight in helium. read more

We had rats in the attic several years ago. We called other reputed exterminators. They could not figure out how the rats got in. Our house was new, and the vents, etc. were all sealed. We call ed Accuracy Plus at last. Joe went through the attic thoroughly and found holes in the plywood base of the roof, which had been there since the construction of the house. Our roof tiles are mission style, curved. So the rats would get under the top of the tile, through the holes and bing! A nice warm home for them in the attic. Joe closed the holes, not an easy task, then set the traps. His next visit was to remove a trapped rat, and on the third visit, he cleaned everything out and disinfected. Just before his third visit we told him about the bee hive in the block wall on the edge of our property - on a slope! - and he said no problem. Took care of it. We are in the 30-day guarantee period. No more rats. No more bees. Yay! And because other exterminators in the past could not find the roof holes, we are impressed with Joe's thoroughness. I want to share my experience about Accuracy Plus termite company. I live in a 1922 home and I noticed termite droppings ( I have had termites before so know what to look for) . Anyways I called several other companies and received some quotes that were not reasonable pricing based on the job. I was able to get a hold of Accuracy Plus and they were able to get me a quote quickly and with 2 year warranty. The day of the job , 2 young men showed up in the time frame given, the reviewed with me the scope of work again. They were very polite and professional. They had to drill holes in the exterior of the walls to spray termite solution and I was very worried about the holes in my house. But the company not only sprayed for termite they also patched and painted the holes up the same day. I am very pleased with the work that was completed at my house and I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an ECO friendly way of getting rid of some nasty pests/ insects. I purchased a renewal maintenance contract for termite control at our residence. Approximately two weeks ago (early September 2011) (and within the warranty period of coverage) I discovered the presence of new subterranean termites which had died in a bathroom and notified Accuracy Plus of this problem. Every time I tried to call (at least three attempts) no one answered the phone and I was forced to leave a message. No one called me back, and, because of the urgency of the problem, I was forced to spend an additional $325 for another company to come and do work that was supposed to be covered under my warranty with Accuracy Plus. They (Accuracy Plus) finally got back to me after my new provider had satisfactorily performed the services, and in their ( Accuracy's) own defense attempted to justify their inactivity by telling me that my contract was going to be running out soon, anyway. They gave me the impression that they didn't care they breached their agreement with me, and that they didn't want to perform the services at all. Very unprofessional attitude and very bad business practices. Their indifference in my case was not justified after all the money I spent with them. Really low class! Find another company that will stand by you and do what it contracts to do. There are many other service providers that are far more reputable. read more

The absolute worst company ever!!!! I was getting bites a few years ago and suspected bed bugs and caught a few in clear packing tape. They came and saw the samples, did and inspection and confirmed I had bed bugs. I signed a contract that guaranteed that the treatment would be repeated if all pests were not eliminated and paid $1,600 for a Vikane treatment. Afterwards I was having bites again and found the bugs again. They completely blew me off and said the treatment was for termites only. When I asked to speak to the person who signed me up, they told me he was no longer with the company. I then found out they had contracted out the service, contacted that company and they repeated the treatment. i then had to placed checked by Isotech's canines and they said the place was clear. Fast forward to this past week, and I got bites and found the bug in a different place. My neighbors were getting bites too. I had Isotech come out and they didn't find bedbugs. I showed the guy my packing tape sample (which was the same as the ones I had found before) and was told they were not bed bugs but carpet beetles! He brought out a jar with actual bed bugs and they were NOT what I had had previously. I already thought this was a terrible company because they didn't keep up their end of the deal, but now I learn that I was completely scammed! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! read more

Every company I received an estimate from for both my termite and rodent problems referred my home to be fumigated (tented), or offered me what I found through further investigation to use sub-standard pesticides, dangerous pesticides, or even pesticides that would have exasperated the issue by killing the rodents while leaving them to rot in my home. No, and I repeat NO, other company offered me a warranty that was both inclusive of each issue I was dealing with, nor did their warranties come close to the thoroughness and length of time that Accuracy Plus' warranties covered. I knew I had termites for a few years but put off the task of calling a termite company because of all the hassle of having to move out and the cost factors.
