I get really impatient with eye exams but they made the whole process super efficient - even got a text when my contacts were in. The Doctor couldn't have been nicer. Their deals were far superior to others I've found including 1800 contacts and they didn't push me to buy glasses or any upsells which I REALLY appreciated. The doctor also threw in some free contacts. I'm not affiliated in anyway and can see how they got such good reviews- not scam reviews for once. I randomly chose to go to OptimEyes because I needed to update my yearly contacts prescription and it was near to my house. It was a great decision! I made a reservation easily over the phone, and there was less than a 30-minute wait between me arriving, filling out my information, and starting the check-up. They also had plenty of snacks, water, and drinks in the waiting room. Dr. Mohanan and Antonio are great, very friendly. OptimEyes accepted my insurance, with Dr.Mohanan figuring everything out for me before I even arrived. I was able to get a new, higher-quality brand of contacts for the same price. Additionally, I got new frames that Dr. Mohanan helped me figure out (since I lack anything even remotely resembling a fashion sense). It took less than a week for my contacts and glasses to be ready for pick-up. Also, instead of getting my pupils dilated, I was able to get a retina mapping. It only costs $25 and is WAY better than getting the drops and being light-sensitive for hours, with the same result. I've been coming here for a few years. Dr mohanan is the best eye doctor I've come across, and I've been going to the eye doctor for over 10 years. She is very thorough in her examinations and always answers all my questions. I never feel rushed! Dr. Mohanan has the latest in eye evaluation technology and an extremely clean and elegant showroom. I was greatly impressed with the courteous reception I received from the staff and the ease of paperwork that typically bogs down every Dr. visit. As a patient with a long history of eye issues, I was happy to find that her evaluation techniques and technology eliminates the need to have your pupils dilated. What an wonderfully friendly and kind staff! My husband and I went for our annual exams and to both get new glasses and contacts. We also brought our toddler with us for an exam which we were very worried about. The woman at the front desk was so patient and very helpful when picking out our new frames. They had toys for our son to play with while we took turns getting our exams done which kept him occupied and away from the frames! Dr Doran was quick and very professional. Doc is really thorough and has high tech equipment to evaluate your eyes. They have a pretty good selection of high end eyewear. Make sure you know what you want and need. They are not pushy with selling you eyewear but they have a very talented sales rep who is knowledgeable about what fits your face and looks good. They take most major insurances. read more

Dr. Monohan and the store manager were very understanding, helpful and patient with me with concerns about glasses I needed and purchases from The Eye Doctor. The prescription was all wrong and so was the fitting of the glasses from The Eye Doctor. Dr. Monohan took her time to assist me with contact lens exam and putting contacts in my eyes for the very first time. I'm going back today for a pair of transition lenses so I won't have to worry about the glare from the sun and I can give my eyes a rest from the contacts. I picked up my new glasses last night. Woo hoo! I had been experiencing problems with my sewing hobby to the point I wondered if I could continue. Got my new glasses and this morning in not the best of light I could see like an eagle and didn't need to use my auto threader on my serger. The week before I couldn't even get it to thread. This is as good as it gets. My vision is better than it has been in that last eight years. I wouldn't think of ever going anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and dump the chains and come to OptimEyes. Being on the other side of 40 I've been using drugstore reading glasses for about 2 years. I finally decided to bite the bullet and go for a complete eye exam. Just went in today to get a new pair of glasses, both the front desk and the doctor were very kind. It was all a pretty quick process that took maybe half an hour (paper work included). Doctor was extremely helpful in picking out my frames as well as helping me out with pricing to get the best deal. She was thorough, polite, kind, and very helpful. She explained pricing to me in a way that made sense and offered multiple options. I tagged along with a friend who was returning for more glasses. I was due for an eye exam, so I decided to get one while I was there. The experience was great!! The best part of the exam was that Dr. Mohnanan explained everthing to me and she ansered why I have a "floater." This may seem silly, but I had been to 2 other optometrists and they just brushed it off like "oh everyone gets them." I was really happy that she listened and took to time to educate me. I drove from Montgomery County, MD to Ashburn, VA to have my eyes checked. Now a days, I just can't go to anyone to have things done. Customer Service is a big factor for me in the decisions I make towards services, especially having to deal with my eyes. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and offered a beverage. My appointment time was at 10:30 and I was a little early. The staff was prepared for me and on time!!! That is a big factor, Dr's that are on time with their schedule. The staff was friendly and courteous. They treated me with respect and care. The staff didn't treat me like I was a number in an assembly line. I went in on 7/2/16 for an emergency appointment with Dr. Mohanan. When you walk in, you dont feel like you are in a "doctors" office or a clinic like setting. It's way more relaxing and very new age. The office was absolutely beautiful. I was seen right away by Dr. Mohanan and the level of care she gave me was more than what anyone can expect. I have a family history of a pretty serious hereditary eye disease so I knew it was time to find a more thorough eye doctor. My husband had dropped by OptimEYES to have his RayBan sunglasses fixed and Antonio was excellent and helpful so he suggested I try them out for my, and my son's eye exams. I am SO glad we did. Dr. Seema completely understood the implications of my family history, made some great suggestions/recommendations (possibly giving me years of disease free, correctible vision) and also put me in some much higher quality lenses. From a cost perspective, I spent about the same with insurance as I was spending at a cheaper chain previously. Antonio helped my son (picture a 16 year old boy who hates to shop) pick out some new frames. He was patient, helpful, and had some great input while guiding my picky young man to a purchase that he ended up being very happy with. I couldn't recommend these folks more!
